“Had their food for the first time the other day as takeout. Staff was very nice. Food was good. I had the gyro sparta wrap...very good I also tried their rice pudding. It was very good but I think $7 for a cup is pricey. I would go back to try other dishes.“

“Truth is I'm not a big fan of Greek food but hubby is. My dinner was eh, while he said his was OK, not great. The grape leaves were delicious and the baklava was devine. Hubby wanted beer but it was all sold out 2 days ago at Easter and the new delivery was late. He also wanted the rice pudding for dessert but that was also sold out. Service was great and restraunt was clean“

“I’ve passed here several times and have been wanting to try it. I finally had a chance today and I am so glad I did! The atmosphere of the restaurant is so cute. I ordered a chicken Gyro bowl to go. She put it in this cute box And everything was organized perfectly! The chicken is so tasty, the shepherd salad is amazing, and the pitas Are so good! Try it, you definitely won’t be disappointed!!“

“It is probably the Best Greek restaurant in the whole Bergen County. I was impressed with the layout, the waiters were very helpful, and gave us the best advice, even for the pickiest of us. After the Greek salad, crisp zucchini, and grilled calamari, the Pastitsio, Moussaka, and seafood Giouvetsi all cooked in clay pots filled us up, but then the lamb chops with lemon potatoes arrived, and nobody could resist them. For dessert we had a platter of galaktobureko"milkpie" and one called ekmek, that we could not decide which was the best. We will definitely come back, but we better fast in advance.“

“I don’t even know where to start. For starters, I’m out in Suffolk county. I was just in the area for an errand. I have been craving good Greek food for so long. I took a chance on this spot after a few fails at other places on the Island. The prices are a bit high HOWEVER the food was worth it.
Such a delicious and amazing gyro and chicken souvlaki platter. The chicken was well seasoned and moist. The gyro was delicious so flavorful. My mom LOVED the baklava she hasn’t had one like it in years. I really wanted good tzatziki sauce. THIS HIT THE SPOT!!! 100% hit the spot.
The platter came with fries and a delicious Greek salad.
The staff was so nice and friendly it felt very welcoming.“

“Just got home with our food that we ordered on the phone. This was our second time ordering from Yassou. We enjoyed our chicken gyros so much the first time that we ordered them again. Plus we ordered two sides - gigante beans and rice pilaf. The beans were absolutely delicious, however the rice pilaf was a big disappointment. First of all, it was not rice pilaf. It was basic basmati rice and worse was, it was seasoned with cilantro. Cilantro?? In a Greek rice side dish? And you pay $9.00.“

Highly recommend to ask for all the greens
(lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion) inside as well as any sauces you may like. ASK FOR MAYO they don’t give it out unless you ask.
I saw a review saying they didn’t have cheese in their sandwich. So I did just want to say
THE ONLY BURGER THAT COMES WITH CHEESE IS A CHEESEBURGER!
Any other sandwich you would need to add it on.
A chicken sandwich normally comes in a pita bread UNLESS STATED THAT YOU WANT IT IN A BUN!
PRO TIP! ADD AVOCADO SLICES TO ANY SALAD OR BURGER you won’t regret it!“
