“The most special part of this restaurant is the service. Excellent service by our server, Donya. Very attentive, professional and friendly. We were there for a special anniversary. It’s a New York style steakhouse. Not stuffy though and a bit similar to STK. The atmosphere is excellent due to the brick and decor. The music is a bit loud for the atmosphere on a Sunday late afternoon. More appropriate for a late Saturday night. The salmon sashimi was tasty. The filet mignon was good but nothing special. Didn’t taste much truffle flavor in the truffle butter we ordered . Creamed spinach good but salty. Drinks are good and unique. Very fresh ingredients.“

I ordered the surf and turf and it was cooked to perfection. Our server was prompt, polite and checked in frequently without being overbearing or annoying. The cocktails were unique and stellar. I'm so thankful that such a high quality restaurant exists in both Summit and Morristown. This steak house competes with all of the upper echelon ones in Manhattan. “I eat at local steak houses Roots and Ruth Chris relatively frequently at least once per month, I wanted to switch up my experience so I searched best steakhouse in New Jersey and this came up. I had no clue how much of a treat I was in for, my father and I sat down for a 3 hour dinner that easily was one of the top meals I have ever had in my life. Sushi here is amazing, the Foxy and Lover Rolls are a must have. All meat products here are high quality and seasoned in a captivating way that will keep me coming back for more. Deserts are plentiful, more on the adventurous side but still amazing, all of their coffee options are also great. The mashed potato rings are a must have! Our waitress Cathy was outstanding in every way, very attentive, and overall a nice person. Everything else aside, and most importantly: the Feathered Fox is CONSISTENT! This establishment is a true hidden treasure. Compliments to the entire service team and chefs at the Feathered Fox.“

“We chose this place because it was BYOB (no bottle opening fees :) When we arrived around 4:15pm we were the only ones in the place so it was dead but the food was amazing! We had the Rib Eye Steak, Chicken Alfredo, Truffle Fries and Tiramisu. They cooked my steak exactly how I asked, the Chicken Alfredo was perfection and idk what sauce they gave us with the truffle fries but it was to die for! Buttery, garlicky goodness! “Our first time as we are visiting from out of town. Our server Cesar was so wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful. The food was phenomenal. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and had a charbroiled taste which we loved. We also had the Bavarian pretzels app special which was awesome!!!! Our drinks were also fantastic. “Traveling for business and my colleague and I were craving steak came across this place. Decided to go here based on the reviews. Run do not walk to this place. Oh my God fantastic food. The staff is amazing. It's what you want in a steakhouse. We had the meatball appetizer , lasagna, New York strip, filet mignon and we split the Wagyu steak. We got mashed potatoes, and broccoli. lol it was only the two of us - plenty of food - ooh and I got ricotta cheese cake for dessert.“

“Everything was great. Atmosphere calming, service by Era -phenomenal, food really good. Hubby had the bone-in 28 days aged rib eye. He really enjoyed it ! It was large and good quality meat. I had the lamb chops which were well seasoned. Both of our temperature were medium. We also tried the mousse cake which was so delicious ! it wasn’t too sweet . The Lobster mac & cheese was ok and so was the sautéed potatoes. We had a lot of leftovers to take home. overall great experience, can’t wait to go back.“

“An excellent choice for premium chops and seafood. The restaurant is very open and well lit for a steakhouse, which is not a bad thing; just unexpected and unusual. Chris Michael's makes it all work, from delicious raw bar options, extensive salads, soups and starters list. The lump crab meat cocktail was superb in flavor and temperature. The crab meat was obviously very fresh, and the portion was sizable. I also heard the shrimp cocktail and tuna tartare are also top notch. The steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection. And finally, despite not mentioning it, the waitress overheard it was my birthday and they sang when my creme bruleé arrived, along with my family's desserts, which included the tiramisu, the Nutella Brownie Sundae, and the Carrot cake. All received rave reviews. Finally, they also have a very well stocked bar with many spirit options, including a thorough, but not exhaustive wine list. The only downside, if you can call it that, is that Chris Michael's is not a restaurant to visit if you are trying to manage costs. Appetizers ranged from $12-$30 and entrees ranged from $26-$78+. I give it 4.5/5“

“Food was delicious and portions are great. Only reason for 4 stars is service, the waiter was friendly, but there were issues with food, we asked that no bacon is served for the whole table and when ordering we mentioned again that we didn’t want bacon but the burgers still came with bacon. We waited almost an hour for appetizers to come and right when appetizers came also the mains came after so it wasn’t perfect.Parking: Its the shared parking lot of LongHorn and Olive Garden so it does get busy and at times difficult to find parking spots.“
