From the moment the valet Alejandro parked our car, to the warm ambience, to the top-notch service provided by David, to the generous portions of absolutely delicious food, to the great bottle of Montepulciano, to the decadent desserts, we had a wonderful experience that just continued to get better and better as the meal progressed. “Bartender was great and very personable and was a great beginning . Bucatini pasta and oysters were delicious. Scallops were ok and as a chef the veal chop parmesan crusted was definitely a pork chop . I love pork but don't try to fool people, that is not ethical . As i said i'm an italian chef and the bone on the rack was definitely pork !! Not Cool , not sure what else to say but didn't expect this from La Grigila“

“We were for a long time looking again for a good French restaurant, after the change of ownership at the chefs table in Franklin Lakes. Chez Catherine was excellent in every aspect. Food, ambiance and absolut outstanding service. We recommend it to everybody who appreciates French cuisine. The restaurant is small, may be 10 tables, but that's what we like. The menu is great, but only a number of options, which is a guarantee that the dishes are really prepared fresh. The waiter was way more than what you are used too, he knows all about the food, what wine goes with what, at the end I had a half ounce cognac (not cheap) but really a amazingly smooth and tasty. We are already thinking about when to go there next time, even though it's more than an hour drive for us, but absolutely worth it.“

The pulpio was ok, somone called it the best thing on menu. I hope that is not the case !! The empanadas were too hot lol they took forever to cool down.“

“I just had the best experience at Q'tal! Our server was so attentive but also gave us space to talk and catch up. She was so kind and everything she recommended was delicious. I highly recommend the jackfruit croquettes and the sliders which I love that they have vegan options for someone like me. I'm not sure of the name it was a passionfruit cosmo type drink and I didn't even realize it came out with a dry ice bubble. 10/10 for presentation on everything and ambiance. They have a dining area which feels a little more formal ( the chairs were so comfy by the way) and then a bar area with high tops which I think would be great for a girls night. I already can't wait to go back!“

The spread is very well flavored, with a tiny bit of a kick. I would guess it’s tomatoes, olive oil, fresh pepper, fresh garlic, & a touch of salt. The ham & cheese croquetas are delicious & creamy. The tortilla española is flavorful & comes with a little bit of greens, but I drizzled the tomato spread over it for a bit more flavor. The crema catalana was delicious.
