“Came early morning I was greeted by a gentleman and a lady cooking in the back. I ordered every flavor empanadas they had available. It was very authentic very large empanadas price was $14 about $2 per empanada. Favorite was beef.. Chicken could have been better and cheese was cheesin’ nice draw to it! It is next to a 711 kind of confusing where to enter however entrance is located on side street.“

“Every time I come to this restaurant I see firsthand how patient the employee whose name is Noemim ( I think!) is with all of the customers regardless of any language barriers, etc. I started coming here a little less than a year ago and because of her friendly conversations, I always get more excited when she’s the server lol. It’s so heartwarming to find a place that sells great food & great service in one! This place is truly lucky to have her! PS. The food always tastes as if you’re in DR lol. Great vibes!“

When arriving, we had very minimal setup to finish on our end, as Angie's decorated perfectly to our taste, so elegant and clean, and cannot thank them enough for even going out of their way to move the display refrigerator out of our space for maximum room.

“I love coming here! It's super eccentric and there are several unique paintings of the city (made by local artists and are for sale)! The food comes quick, and even when it's super busy there is never a long wait for a table. I have had a few different breakfast and lunch items here, and they never disappoint.“

My food was delicious I don’t eat meat so I had two types of rice, vegetables and both beans they had. My daughter had their quarter chicken with rice and beans. “Really well seasoned, good food.
You know how you go to some restaurants & you end up having to add seasoning to their food. Not so with any of the dishes here & I’ve had a least four different dishes. My favorites are the pepper steak & rice, and the Shrimp Alfredo.
Only draw back is that a couple of times they put too much juice w/pepper steak..it’s to greasy. That’s why four stars instead of 5.
Just tell them don’t add the juice.

Parking: The parking lot is small, most time we’ve gone there was a spot.

We ordered patacon, dominican chimi and a $30 picadera (you choose what you want your picadera to have: we chose chuleta (pork chops) pollo frito (fried chicken) queso frito (fried cheese) orejita (fried pork ears) and longaniza (dominican sausage, with tostones (fried plantains) and batata frita (japanese sweet potato).
Place was clean, ladies were nice and friendly, and place is open late, which is an ideal option to go after drinks to avoid a hangover.“

I recommend to get it as early as possible the mash plátanos are smooth cheese is soft and eggs feels so fresh when you get it early in the morning. My only complaint is that I work in a busy office and the last few weeks I have t been able to order ahead because there is something wrong with their number printed in the menu and online.“
