“I have ordered baked goods from Allie Bakes Cakes several times Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now for a bridal shower. They are always decorated so beautifully but what sets her baked goods apart is that they taste absolutely delicious! Sometimes you get baked goods that look pretty, but don’t taste good -these are absolutely spectacular. I usually have to eat several on the way home in the car before I even put them on display. I cannot say enough about the quality and the beauty of them. She is an extremely talented baker an artist!!“

“A few years ago, I began the search to find a good cake/baking supply store. Michaels is OK for last minute items but I wanted a “Go To” place. When I went to the internet, Shore Cake Supply was the 1st one to pop up. I live in North Jersey so it’s an hour or so drive for me BUT I drove there and had a “me” shopping spree. I’ve taken a class or two and even suggested to Jennifer that I wouldn’t be opposed to her opening a second location in North Jersey 😉. All I can say is just go there. You WON’T be disappointed. “Mav's Top Buns was absolutely wonderful as we went there for the first time in March 2026. We got a box of an OG, a blueberry crumb, thin mint and banana pudding. They were all absolutely delicious with just the right amount of doughiness and sweetness, without being overly sweet as many buns often tend to be. Service was terrific as well and the new owners are great people, who seem to truly care about both their customers and their staff. We'll definitely be back for more buns. “My wife is an excellent baker, who usually makes my birthday cake for me. This year she couldn't, so I bought a cake from Antoinette Boulangerie. I'm a bakery snob. When I'm not eating homemade desserts, I only buy from the best bakeries in NYC and NJ. Antoinette Boulangerie is one of them.

The cake I bought was not pre-ordered; it was a ready-to-go cake for the day I called, which was my birthday. There were three that day: Red Velvet, Chocolate, Lemon-Raspberry. I chose the Lemon-Raspberry: lemon icing, vanilla cake, raspberry filling. It was FANTASTIC. The cake itself was perfectly moist, light and flavorful; the lemon icing was delicious and just the right amount of sweet, not too sweet; the raspberry filling was delicate. These are the signs of an excellent baker. In the past I've also had pastries from Antoinette, usually tarts and eclairs, and they've always been excellent.

My wife thought the cake was so good that she's considering appointing Antoinette Boulangerie as my official birthday baker.“

“Kosher bakery with everything you can think of. They offer cakes, cookies, bread, challah, pastries etc... and even sell pizza and sushi. This bakery is the go to bakery in this town and is extremely popular. The pi,za and sushi can have very long waits in the summer especially during peak hours.

It fits in wonderfully with Red Bank’s culture even though it’s a recognized franchise brand and the coffee is delicious. The chocolate and strawberry croissants are very fresh. I love the modern aesthetic and layout mixed with the friendly atmosphere. I felt like I was in an high end “Mom and Pop shop”. It was also cleaner than most of the local coffee shops. “Fanagle has always been a local staple in Long Branch and admired by so many locals for decades. Yes, sometimes there are long lines… however, this is telling of the quality of food Fanagle provides. I’d be more concerned if the place was empty, which, it never is. Once again, a good sign.

It is an over the counter ordering establishment and the staff always brings you your order to your table if you have chosen to eat inside. Due to the increased traffic and long lines the staff can understandably be overwhelmed and most likely annoyed by the amount of rude customers that walk in there. In fact, they do a wonderful job dealing with people who are not so kind.

Krystal and team always say hello and I have never had a bad breakfast at Fanagle. The bagels are amazing, the breakfast sandwiches will cure anything in about 30 seconds and I love the old school vibe. The last thing we need in NJ is another bagel place that looks like a hospital serving hospital food and Fanagle feels like home.

Fanagle is the staple we all grew up with and will continue to be one of our favorite spots.“
