“I have ordered from here several times and it’s always been pretty tasty. Today I ordered to work and upon delivery I got chicken instead of beef with broccoli. I called and they told me that they would fix my order a little later when the driver has a nearby delivery. I wasn’t sure wether or not I’d get my dish, but eventually they did come and swap the dish….not something you can take for granted these days when gas prices are through the roof. So tasty food and great service. I highly recommend east wok and will order from them again for sure :-)“

We found the chicken chow mein to be tasty, but wish there was a little more chicken quantity. Overall, very good and would recommend.“

“Din Tai Fung has been a long-time favorite of mine, and I’ve visited their locations across Asia more times than I can count. So, I was really looking forward to the opening of this NYC location. It took some time, but as soon as I walked in, I could see why. This isn’t like the more casual branches I’m used to – they’ve gone all out, creating a stunning space that’s perfect for a special night out. Though it’s a large venue, it feels intimate, and the table arrangement makes conversations easy. Service was excellent; our waiter was excited to introduce us to the restaurant and stayed attentive throughout the meal.

Now, the food! We tried two varieties of their signature xiaolongbao – the traditional pork and the pork and crab. Both were superb and just as good as what you’d find in Asia. The paper-thin wrappers are some of the best I’ve had outside of the Pacific, with great flavor and delicious soup inside. The pork chop fried rice was also outstanding – tender, juicy pork served over perfectly cooked fried rice. We also enjoyed the seaweed and tofu salad, which was a great starter. I did miss the wild vegetable tofu and sesame oil salad I’ve had in Asia, but I imagine it might be due to ingredient availability here. Prices are a bit higher than their Asian branches, but for me, the atmosphere and quality were worth it. I’ll definitely be back.

We've always loved the food at PF Chang's, but what really makes the West New York location a favorite is the friendly service. During our most recent visit we decided to place a togo order, after dining inside. We also asked our server if she could have some extra rice and to our surprise she adding not one, but two tubs of extra rice. This is what will keep us coming back again and again as we have for over 12 years.“

“I really like Lucas Sin, so I was expecting this place to be a little more. My expectations aside, the staff was overworked even after 8:30pm, but they were still courteous. I would say this place would still rank much better than Panda Express (there's one down the street), given that this is kind of like a make-your-own type of place (think Sweetgreen, DIGG, etc.) but with a proper Chinese flair (again, contrast with Panda Express).

I would say that the seating area was a little not well-maintained, but you are served with a bowl used for a take-out anyway, so just take it to a place you feel more comfortable eating.

“I came here for lunch with my swim team and everything was amazing. The atmosphere, the service, the company, and the food. It’s like a Chinese style Chipotle, where you can customize your own bowl or try a signature dish. The staff was super friendly and the artwork on the wall was eye catching. “Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“Little disappointed at this place. Saw they had Crispy Beef with Fresh Honey Walnuts Beef with a bed of steamed broccoli in a sweet brown sauce topped with sugared walnuts. Not crispy as from can see in pic. Was this really beef also? Walnuts were plain as well.Steamed Spinach Dumplings were a bit dry . Hunan Dumplings Spinach and beef dumplings topped with spicy peanut sauce. Spicy. I got not spicy but were very good. Would I try again. Yes think I would.“

“*Wrote this review on yelp already but it had a word limit. So this review will act as the full review as it will contain all the items I’ve tried* This place is phenomenal in every aspect. The food is very authentic, flavorful, and all items are reasonably priced. I tried out their food on Oct. 3 and again on the 9th. The first time I did a take out and the second time I did a dine-in. It is THAT delicious that I needed to create a Yelp account to write my review for them and is absolutely worth my travel from Staten Island to downtown. Below is a list of foods that I have tried plus my take on them from both of my visits there. I'll write it in the order of which I tried it. There'll be pictures of food, the menu, and the restaurant itself. It's super homey and welcoming! A definite must! I'll be going back again next week to try out other items that I have not yet had the chance to have. 1) The pork rougamo: It is like a savory crispy pancake sliced down the middle sandwiching juicy and mouthwatering pork belly. My friend who doesn't normally eat pork belly because it's so fatty, LOVED it so much that we had to get it again the second time we went together. It's got the perfect amount of meat and crunch to it. Just make sure that if you do not plan to eat it right away, please re-heat it in a toaster oven so that it'll maintain it's crispiness. (The heat of it in the bag might soften it a little but it won't ruin the experience! I promise you!) 2) Pan-Fried pork dumplings: The skin that is used to wrap the dumplings in is not too thin or too thick. It's got just the right amount to it. The pork filling itself is extremely juicy and flavorful! They don't cheat you out on the fillings either. You'll definitely get a satisfying amount of meat and wrapping with every bite. If you like spicy oil like I do, it'll definitely enhance it even more! This is also an item that requires some time to make because they pan fry it fresh! (If you're in a hurry, make sure to call ahead for your order.) It's not like other places who have it already pre-fried and just reheat it making it lose it's juiciness from over cooking when an order is place. That's an extreme plus in my book! Obviously, I made sure to get it again the second time I was there. 3) Stewed Duck Leg: This is absolutely tasteful! It's not like your typical roast duck that you'd find in Chinatown hanging in front of a window; full of fat and lingering gamey taste. When I took my first bite, I was not expecting to be exploded with flavor and lean meat. My friend never liked roast duck and has always been "yuck" about it gave this a try, she ended up eating 3/4 of it! She couldn't stop herself from picking at it! So if you have never had duck or have not had a good experience with duck before, this is definitely worth trying! And for those of you who do like duck, you absolutely must! 4) Beef Stew Noodle Soup: We ordered this with hand-pulled noodles... and gosh, I can still taste it in my mouth. The perfect texture of the noodles; it was not soggy at all and had this nice bounce to it. I believe you can ask about preferences for noodles. The beef stew and the soup was the perfect combination! You can taste the beef in the soup and know that it has been stewed for a long enough time! It's not too salty and has a light feeling to it so that you don't feel overly stuffed afterwards. I highly recommend this item! 5) Steamed Fish Filet Dish: This was SOOOO good. If you're like me and absolutely hate fish with bones and always go for fish without, this is definitely a must! The size of the fish filet is phenomenal! I've been to places where the filet order is smaller than the size of my hand but this place, you get a very big and satisfying bite! Whatever it is that they coat it in has the perfect flavor to go with it. And there's some kind of broth that it's cooked in... let me tell you, that was heavenly! After I took my share“

“Fantastic food and service. This is exactly like the food I enjoyed at similar Chinese lamb skewer restaurants in Korea. I went in expecting to have to use Korean because a few reviews said no one speaks English, but instead I encountered non Korean servers and had to use English. They also spoke Spanish. There are menus available in Chinese, Korean, and English. You can get served here regardless of language. I highly recommend if you want something different from typical Korean barbecue. The food was hot and fresh and not overly sweet or drenched in salty sauce like some of your other Chinese take out places! Heck they even ran a lunch specials on Christmas Day! We called on the phone, placed our order, then made our way over. We paid in cash and got the food. I ordered the boneless spare ribs combination platter, which comes with a roast pork egg roll and roast pork fried rice. We also got a small wonton soup. The boneless spare ribs were really good, striking a good balance between the sweet and savory that boneless spare ribs typically have. The roast pork egg roll was delicious and savory. Everything else, though, was not as good. The roast pork fried rice was pretty bland, as were the wontons and the broth that the wontons came with. For the price, though, it was reasonable, so I am not too upset.“

Their spicy szechuan dumplings are the best you can find in NJ and they offer rare and delicious sauteed snow pea leaves and watercress... “I recently experienced a delivery issue with the PF Changs on 8th Ave with 2 missing items. However, the manager at this location named Cris C, was remarkable in making this right. She immediately stepped into action by offering to send the 2 missing items complimentary and they were delivered within 30min.

These day it’s hard to just get someone on the phone to address a customer service issue. So it was refreshing to have someone that offered a solution without even having to ask for it!

“Came here for lunch, they have a lunch special Monday-Saturday 11am-3pm. I had the general Tso chicken. Overall my food was good. It was spicy, fresh, and flavorful. The restaurant is clean and tidy, although, they should make it look prettier with some Chinese decor. Food was served fast. No complaints or issues. I would recommend this restaurant.“
