“It was awesome. The wait was only 2 or 3 minutes. Then, when we ordered, the food came out immediately. It was very good, and the sauces tasted great with it. We got boba as well, which was very good. Overall, it's not that expensive with it coming out to 30 dollars per person. Definitely recommend 10 out of 10Kid-friendliness: They had a whole section on the menu for kid friendly foods.“

“The food was good, and the service was great. The staff was really on top of things. It was a little expensive, though. My family of 4 spent $140, not including tips. And I don't get why they charged us an extra $1.99 per person for sauces.“

“This is a hot pot place in Edison that's actually good and if you know what to get or what meat should you choose, you're going to get what you pay for. It's cheaper than Korean BBQ with Hot Pot because there's NO bbq here! The soup is what's good here. We got the combination or regular and spicy soup then chose the PREMIUM package to get more meat and seafood and ice cream for dessert! And you can get another serving of ice cream! There's also special drinks for PREMIUM packagWe were glad that we did although regular can get you to their good array of meats and vegetables. Loved that they have a good array of seafood on their regular package. They also have cotton candy for dessert on a weekday and some jelly desserts on the weekends. They have all the stuff to make a good sauce for your meats! You'd leave stuffed and happy!“

“So good! Came here with my friend for dinner; I ordered shrimp tempura sushi (which was absolutely delicious), and my friend ordered miso ramen (seen in picture). While the food was amazing, the service was even better. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and were treated so kindly for our entire meal. Very nice and neat place, super lovely overall. Thank you for a great experience! We will definitely be back more often.“

“Chef Ge restaurant left a lasting impression with its authentic and boldly flavored dishes. The fried pork with pineapple was a delightful blend of natural sweetness, and the Master Ge Xiao Fry offered tender freshness with a balanced mouth-numbing sensation. The chicken with lotus roots & pepper was spicy, featuring tender, flavorful chicken and the added punch of pickled peppers—a must-try. While the Yummy braised pork belly lacked a distinct pork flavor, leaning more towards a deep-fried coating, it was still enjoyable. The restaurant's ambiance was flexible, in line with Chinese dining expectations. Overall, Chef Ge provided a satisfying culinary journey, showcasing a diverse menu with standout, memorable flavors.Parking: More parking space is at the right side of the building.“

“Very nice atmosphere, a bit fancier than many Chinese restaurants. Most dishes are quite spicy - some in my family love these. But there are also some choices for those of us who prefer less spicy. My Chinese relatives consider the quality to be very high - one of the best restaurants in Central New Jersey.“

“Really good food..good quality ingredients for the price point..food took a while and wasn’t told how long and ended up waiting in the restaurant for nearly 25 min. It was busy, so can’t blame them, but would have been nice to know it was going to be a wait. The inside is clean, but standard setup. Chicken Lo Mein was great! Kung Pao chicken seemed to have more vegetables than Chicken, but still tasted great!“

“This place is close to my wife's work location and gets good reviews for her. I have eaten here throughout the years was never disappointed. When we first started coming here, my body was still a toddler, now he is in graduate school, this place is still an old reliable stand-by. The setting is not the fanciest but either is the price. Even after COVID, the price change has really been very reasonable. The same family runs this restaurant seems like forever. There has to be a reason a Chinese restaurant can survive for twenty years with the same ownership. The food is well seasoned, with pleasant texture, and served fast. The best description for this outfit is liken it to a cup of Mom's chicken noodle soup, pure comfort food.“

“For a Wednesday night the place is almost filled. There was a mixture of tables with large parties and smaller ones of couples. Everyone seems to be returning customers which is a good sign. The five dishes we ordered were well prepared with appetizing taste. While their American menu seem to cover frequently ordered western fare, most of their Chinese dishes are listed separatly and only presented in the Chinese language. Our estimation is that everyone in the restaurant ordered from the traditional Chinese menu instead the one you are handed. Therefore, you may want to bring a Chinese speaking friend if you are interested in what they“

“House of Wong is absolutely serving up delicious food and the high praising reviews did not lie. I was in their establishment for maybe an hour and I witnessed at least 20 people come in to pick up take out orders. In my opinion, that speaks on the quality of food. The fried pork dumplings are flavorful, the pork egg roll is as big as the plate it's served on. The pepper steak was tender and sauced well with a ton of peppers and onions. The rice was good and fluffy. The service was good, even though there appears to be one server for the 4 tables that were seated. I wish they would have spread out the tables a little bit because we were seated right in the middle and it was a little noisy. The ice cold water was good and always refilled without asking. It was an hour drive but in my opinion, it was well worth it and delicious. I would take the adventure again to try something new. Thank you.Vegetarian options: My friend is vegetarian and had to ask about a sauce served on a vegetarian dish and it was fish sauce so make sure to ask about what's in the sauces. She loved her Vegetable & Tofu With Thai Honey Cashews dishParking: The restaurant is in a plaza but at 5:30pm on a Monday, I found plenty of parking spots.“

“I ordered the spicy beef stew. I am amazed at the complexity of the spice where, yes, it's spicy but tantalizing where I want to keep coming back for more bites. This is my first time here, and all I can say is wow! They provided me with white rice, a hefty amount of scallions, pulled beef, broth, egg pieces, and various ingredients. There is also this solid cold food in a lil cup that tastes like kimchi and it was refreshing respite to the spice afterwards. Would recommend 10/10?“

“First time here and brought 20 of my closest family members for Saturday dim sum. We had a really good experience overall. The food, the service and the family friendly atmosphere was great! “Very authentic and good Northern East Chinese BBQ. Definitely deserve a rating higher than 4.5/5. I would give it a 4.8.I have been there 2 times in 2 weeks.?yeah that is how good the food is.?Very happy with everything we ordered.lamb skewers, chicken skewers, squid, mushroom, fish tofu, Taiwanese sausages, glazed eggplants, braised pork with glass noodles, etc... were all very delicious.Compared to other Chinese restaurants around, food portions and quality is amazing! The restaurant is small... so make sure to make a reservation and be there on time. (or you will need to join the wait-list.)Servers are friendly but not very polite?. but I get it, they are short staffed but packed with costumers. So I'm not too bothered by the manners. My only suggestion, maybe have a host/hostess upfront at the entrance to let people know how to join the wait-list or if they can be seated right away. When it gets busy,it is kinda confusing and chaotic.“

“Food is good, and prepared pretty quickly. Woman at the counter does a nice job. Prices seem fair. Place is clean. Much, much better food and prices than the Asian food restaurant near Uproot. “I find it hard to believe I have not argued this place, maybe they changed businesses or owners and my old review is there. Which I can totally own because when I originally started coming here it was just sultan wok and now it is sultan wok/ Asian Express. This is my top choice spot for Chinese takeout locally. To the point where when they are closed and I want Chinese takeout, I just wait until they're open and get something else. My go-to is the general tso is chicken, with which I like to treat myself for lunch when I am working from home. Is this the best Chinese food I've ever eaten, I don't know. Does it satisfy the craving when I have it, absolutely. I would say there are days when I think their food is particularly better than others, without rhyme or reason, but I do tend to find their food tends to be better more often than it's not. Not. I also like when general tso chicken has a nice crunch to it and they tend to have better chicken than other places. I don't think I've ever had it and it'd be soggy unless I'm reheating it which does not count. The woman there tends to be very friendly. Who takes the orders, they have to have a system that gives the name of the customer because she always knows my name and greets him with a hello Mike when she answers the phone. Now if I ordered more regularly I could totally see her knowing my name. However, I do not order frequently enough for her to know who I am, which makes me think they have to have some sort of system. Either way it's nice or is she just that good at her job. All in all, I don't think you can go wrong. Getting takeout from here. I've tried some other spots in town with high recommendations and have been sorely disappointed. I hate soggy chicken and I've never gotten soggy chicken from here.“
“Parking: There's little parking space on the street, but it's free and it's there. Though there's a time limit. Don't park in the street spaces if you are a student with a registered car, they will fine you for being in visitors' spaces.“

“Great food, service, and atmosphere. I ordered the roast duck noodles (spicy), and it was delicious. Definitely recommended getting it spicy. Great flavor, and you literally will drink the broth. It was so good. Service was great, order at the counter and they will bring the food to you if you dine in. While I was there, quite a few people were in and out, getting to go and take out meals. “Great family owned Chinese restaurant. I cannot speak to the atmosphere, because we always get take out, but the staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious. “I first wanted to say how impressed I am with the food. Definitely some of the best Chinese food I’ve eaten in a long long time. I got the string bean triple and I enjoyed it very much. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant as well. Everybody was so nice and attentive. The food was so good I had to get another dish which was the broccoli with brown sauce. “Me and my boyfriend have been craving authentic Chinese bbq skewers for a while and stumbled upon this place online. The waitress was very nice, but spoke very little english - the Chinese menu translations were pretty rough so we weren't too sure exactly what we ordered, but just went with it and hoped for the best. We were not disappointed and will definitely be coming back again to try some other things on the menu! Lamb/beef skewers: 5/5These honestly hit the spot - were probably the most authentic skewers I've had in the states EVER. Each skewer had a generous amount of meat and was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. We could not stop raving about these throughout the meal! Dongjia spicy hotpot: 5/5Although we were expecting a hot pot of soup, this dish more than made up for that. It is a dry hotpot dish with meat, veggies, etc. all piled into one pot. This dish was a little on the saltier side, but the mala flavor was prominent and was a good, flavorful follow up to the skewers from before. Tasty pork appetizer: 3/5This dish ended up being deep fried coated pork served with a side of dried spices to dip the pork into. We kind of ordered this on a whim without knowing what to expect and was the dish we probably would've swapped out for something else. The quality of the dish was not bad, just wasn't as good compared to the first two dishes. They do give a lot of pork for an appetizer dish, so we were able to take some home. We noticed halfway throughout the meal that every single table ordered this one dish and after looking up other reviews found out it was something called guobaorou - will add this to try next time we come back :)“

Orange chicken. 4.5/5 it was very good. Flavorful and I enjoyed the taste. I liked the fact that it wasn't too saucy. Beef n shishito peppers. 5/5. The best item. Beef was Tasty n flavorful. Served with a cup of rice. Diced beef noodle. 3.5/5 I was expecting this to be the best item. But there was some after taste to the soup, which I didn't enjoy. “This is a no frills old school Chinese restaurant with some unique selections. Didn't have much this time but what I had was excellent. Place was fairly empty and I hope that people aren't coming bc it's not trendy like some of the newer Chinese spots in the area I can't say enough about how amazing the Chinese eggplant in garlic sauce was. Def my favorite dish I ate here and the absolute best version of this I've ever had. The fried pork chop was simple but extremely flavorful and not over cooked. Lastly the twice cooked fish filet was good but not as good as I've had elsewhere (a bit too much batter for my liking). Cannot wait to come back to try other dishes“
“First time coming here for lunch. Ordered the hunan fried rice-was a little spicy but tolerable 9.5/10. Japanese tofu sizzling plate-tofu was soft and flavorful 9/10. “We were looking for vegetarian chines fare and found it here on yelp so we gave this place a try. Eating a super early dinner at 5:30 with kids in tow led to wonderful attentive experience before any potential crowds. Service was fantastic and any questions we had were so politely addressed. The dishes came out fast, portions were generous and the flavors hit the notes we needed. Garlic pea shoots- don't be discouraged by the name. This is seasonal and a wonderful side to the rest of the food General Tso Tofu- very large serving, tofu has a slight crisp if you start eating immediately and a slight sweetness to the sauce. Would love to see a kung pao version with the peppers and peanuts! Veg fried rice- finally a place that does it right! Not just rice with a small pouring of frozen carrots and peas. This was great. Scallion Pancake- surprisingly not the standard version. This puffed up nicely and despite being deep fried was not greasy. Wonderful dipping sauce too! Homestyle Tofu- lots of mixed veg. This was not my favorite due to the "tobasco-esque" tanginess but a hit with my wife. There are some toys near the front to keep your kids (or you) busy while you wait but honestly the food comes out hot, fresh and fast- so you may as well just wait! We will be back!“

“This is our go-to Chinese place as it’s right down the block and the service is always great. What we’ve had from there so far has been very good. Our only issues have been with the General Tso’s, which my husband says can be inconsistent in quality (sometimes, it lacks flavor but other times, it’s quite good), and I feel the same about the wonton soup. But other than that, everything is delicious!“
