I read some reviews saying there isn't too much meat in burek. That's how it is supposed to be. more meat would make burek too greasy and heavy. Djerdan bureks are authentic and delicious. “Unregular Bakery was hands down the best bakery experience we had in NYC. The pastry display looks absolutely insane, and everything tastes just as good as it looks. We tried the croissant pudding, the K Bueno, and a cappuccino — all were amazing. The employee recommended we warm up the croissant pudding, and even did it for us — it was exactly what I had been craving after so many disappointing bakery visits in NYC. On top of that, he was super friendly, and you can really see how passionate he is about the bakery and pastries. We’d 100% come back to try all the other goodies.“

After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“

I tried the dulce de leche with coconut and wow… it was love at first bite. Sweet but not overwhelming, with the perfect chewy texture. It’s huge too — definitely shareable, but honestly, you’ll want it all for yourself.

The vibe is cozy, the staff is fast and friendly, and even with the line, it’s worth every minute. If you’re around Central Park or the Upper East Side, don’t leave without grabbing one. Trust me — once you taste it, you’ll never look at cookies the same way again. 🍪✨“

“Interior/outside terrace: the interior is very functional, very few inside seating options. But it’s not like a comfy café. They do have a small outside seating area, which is nice, nothing special, but if you get a table there, you can enjoy your croissants in the sun.

Food quality/price: good selection of savoury & sweet food, very delicious. I got an earl grey bun & a pistachio croissant. Both very delicious, like out of another world. Loved them. I found their food to be quite expensive.
Suggestion: why not making tiny versions of the different treats (to a smaller price as well of course), so solo-visitors can try more delicious treats?

“Wish Upon a Pastry is a great Disney Inspired bakery in NJ. Michele and Torre, the owners are so nice and great to work with. They have really unique baked goods that are all absolutely delicious. They also take special orders. They are not dedicated gluten free but they offer a lot of gluten free options that are just as delicious as their other bakery items. But there is no additional sugar added and it's totally clean. I have also had the Pistachio and Cashew Whips - both addictive. Their baked goods are equally excellent - it's hard to find vegan, GF dessert that's also really good. Dying to have a panini but it's always sold out. It's run by two women - sisters - who manage the crowds well. It's hard when you have a throng of hungry, impatient New Yorkers but being there feels homey and cozy.
