“This is our fourth visit to I Gemelli. We had not been here for about a year because our last two meals were only OK. This is a BYOB so bring a bottle. What a difference a year makes. The food was excellent. We ordered the Portabello alla Griglia - a portabello mushroom served over thinly sliced potatoes. I had the Pollo Saporito - sauteed pieces of chicken on the bone in a white wine sauce with sun-dried tomatoes and capers. The pignoli nuts added a lot of flavor to the dish. Service was wonderful too. The waiter took the time to explain the specials and answered all of our questions. We will be returning.“

“Had to leave a review - excellent meal! Burger was homemade and not a thawed out patty from a food supply box - even the tomato was freshly cut and juicy. The apple pie and coffee were perfect. My five-year old loved her burger and fries! Also - great attention to little ones here - very sweet staff. Would absolutely eat here again with my family.“

“We staying at the Hilton Hasbrouck Heights/ Meadowlands and Foodies Diner is about 1 miles from the hotel. Cute little place. My Wife and I we like th atmosphere. This is our first time here for breakfast. We order Greek omelet and Fruitie tuitty fresh toaste with 2 coffees. The fresh toast is very good but the omelet need more meat in it. “Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“

“Ordered a pepperoni and the truffle cashew cream. I enjoyed the truffle pizza more. Ordered via UberEATS and unfortunately the delivery guy put my pizza in a backpack vertically. This of course made the pizza look like a mess. Still good though.“

“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! “Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

First of all, it's gorgeous, so sunshine-y and green. We sat at the bar and the service was great. We ordered the cantaloupe slushies and they were so, so good! They weren't overly strong + they mix them themselves, just a few ingredients. The guac was a little small but delicious. The pork tacos were pretty expensive for 2, I thought, until I tasted them. WOW, so good. We were so busy catching up, we didn't realize they'd closed to get ready for dinner. They emphasized we hadn't overstayed our welcome, we could stay as long as we needed.
And the disco-themed restroom + playlist? Excellente“

“Transparently, I only came to meet a friend for one cocktail in the afternoon and she ended up being over an hour late due to an unforeseen circumstance, yet the staff was still so incredibly kind to let me sloooooowwwwly nurse my single iced tea and wait at a a cozy little table near the back until my friend arrived.

“I went there for the fried egg (probably Yo Egg) and it did not disappoint. I made my own platter with the sunny side up egg, toast, bacon, and tater tots. All were well made and delicious. Good toast for mopping the vegan egg yolk. Bacon was very crunchy (which I like, more like bacon chips). Tots were crispy. Excellent breakfast, wish I'd had time to try their other food. I was there when they opened at 9am and had the place to myself.“

“This was my second time coming here. First experience was great. This experience was just okay. Our waitress was very aggressive when it came to ordering our food. Which I thought was strange since brunch was over at 4:30 (according to the website). We sat down a little pass 2pm. One of our friends was late and was rushed to order as well (we were still well within the time frame of brunch). The next problem was the waitress said we had to pay a 20% tip because of the size of our group which was six people. My thing is if that's the case it should automatically be added on the bill (that's what a lot of restaurants do). Still unsure about the 20 % tip because I checked the website and didn't see that information. We were hounded because we wanted to pay a different tip based on the service. The tipping amount is supposed to be based on how well the service was. This service didn't deserve 20%. The 20% was paid but we weren't happy about paying it. I'm disappointed because like I said my first experience for brunch here was great. The previous waitress was super nice and welcoming. We didn't feel rushed at all. Based on this recent experience I don't think me and my friends will be coming back here.“
