“Had another fantastic experience at Seafood Gourmet. This has been one of my favorite seafood spots because the quality is consistently outstanding, the portions are generous, and you can tell they genuinely care about taking care of their customers.

Nick took great care of me during my visit and happily accommodated my special request. I have some dietary restrictions and needed a salad with no dressing or anything added, and they got it exactly right without making it a hassle. That kind of attention to detail and willingness to accommodate really goes a long way.

Ownership is always a pleasure to talk to. I especially appreciate their direct, no-nonsense approach—it's refreshing to deal with people who are straightforward, honest, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they take pride in running a great business and serving quality food.

“Some of the best pho I’ve ever had, especially the garlic ginger one. Many vegan options as well. The sticky black rice dessert with perfectly ripened fresh mango was also excellent. What would have made it perfect for me would have been jasmine rice instead of plain and jasmine tea. Well worth the visit in my opinion.“

“Here's the review Spencer wrote for you: My family and I just visited to celebrate my grandsons birthday- we like to get a bunch of plates and share family style and this menu was perfect for that. You have to get mezze and extra bread (must try the kubane). We also ended up getting three orders of the shishbarak for the six of us, it is way too good! I got the salmon for my entree which was cooked to perfection and beautifully seasoned. Spencer our server recommended the silan and the cheesecake for dessert so we shared those and boy were they something special- I can’t pick a favorite! He brought us a candle and we got some great pictures. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.“

“After eating so much (pizza etc )we needed to eat something different, spicy and booked this gem,as it as near to our hotel. It was also our 40th wedding anniversary. We are from U.K. This was amazing perfectly cooked tasty home made authentic Indian cuisine. We had mocktails ( lavender was refreshing ). The tandoori lamb chops x4 were full meat seasoned beautifully and delicious. All other sides perfect too. Now in U.K. we hate restaurant Indian puddings they are usually bought in and awful/failure. After finding out the chef is the owner and a recipient Michelin star we were convinced to stay,try and this was the first time we have had authentic home made puddings; try Kulfi with rose water & also Indian rice pudding. The whole meal was exceptional great value and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone else visiting New York. Easy to find off Times Square /Broadway. I came during the afternoon and the place was quiet.
The staff was very friendly and even asked how the meal was at the end.
Note: It’s self-service.

Food: The hand-pulled noodles and broth were fresh and excellent.
The fried side dish was crispy and flavorful.
Drink: The iced black tea with mango was light and very refreshing.
Tip: As you can see in the video - the portions are very generous.
I recommend ordering a small size because I couldn’t finish it.

Seating: I sat by the window facing the street. It was nice to eat and watch Broadway at the same time.
There’s also an inner bar table closer to the kitchen.
The place is clean and the surrounding area feels calm and safe.

Price: Very affordable and filling.
This was my first time trying authentic Chinese food and I was pleasantly surprised.
Highly recommend and worth saving for a real local meal.“
