“Small restaurant but big flavor.
The chicken teriyaki box is a great deal served fresh with fantastic flavor and came with so many delicious sides. I also tried a couple of sushi rolls and seems like you can't go wrong with any options. I haven't had fresh cuts of fish like that anywhere else! Definitely recommend!“

“My friend and I made a reservation for Gurumé at 7pm on a Saturday. I would recommend making a reservation if you are dining around this time, as it was packed! However, the crowd had dissipated by 8:30pm, so if you're looking for a later evening bite, it's definitely slower. I would also recommend not dining at peak hours because it was so loud. Decor is your average, upscale vibes, but the tables are really close together to maximize the amount of people in the space.
We ordered crispy corn and cheese ($14), oyster mushroom taco ($17), berkshire kimchi fried rice ($19), scallop crudo ($19), and pork & radish "bossam" ($19). We also ordered the black sesame bread pudding for dessert ($11). Overall, the food was flavored well and tasty. You're paying entree prices for appetizer portions, but it makes sense for the location. If I came back, I would skip the kimchi fried rice and scallop crudo. The fried rice was nothing special, and I have had better experiences with simpler ingredients; the scallop crudo was overpowered by the other flavors, losing the taste of the scallop. The bossam was so moist and juicy, with fantastic natural flavoring, though the other components did enhance the flavor. I would only recommend the corn if you are a corn lover and none of the other appetizers appeal to you. The mushroom taco had a great combination of flavors and the spice kick was mild. If you're a dessert person, the bread pudding was delectable, great black sesame flavor and the bread was also moist.
Service was outstanding. We were originally seated next to a large party, and they later moved us to a table further away where it was quieter. There were many checkbacks throughout the evening, and they definitely make you feel like you are valued as a customer. I would recommend Gurumé for a fancy night out and people in your party can talk loudly.“

“Found this place by coincidence, but it turns out to be one of the best handroll places I visited in NYC. The restaurant is structured as bar seatings. Every handroll was made and served one.
The rice was well seasoned, and every roll was delicious. The menu was a bit limited, but that also makes it very simple and friendly for someone who doesn't know what to order on their first visit.
The price was moderate. If you are a fan of handrolls, you should give it a try.“

“Brilliant Korean spread at Cho Dang Gol in midtown Manhatten. Specializes in tofu dishes so we plumped for the spicy tofu hotpot but also ordered some tasty beef and zucchini pancakes and spicy gochujang chicken. This eatery features on the Michelin guide and is always packed, and rightly so! Maybe a little on the sweeter side for my taste but isn’t everything in the USA? 😜 Regardless, it was stupid tasty and we inhaled everything“

“This place is GREAT!
We were craving for some ttukbokki and kimbop, decided to try for a new place.
Their kimbop is delicious, great fillings and well seasoned seaweed.
Ttukbokki came out nice and hot. Rice cake was nicely cooked and seasoned. But come on, look at the boiled egg, it’s not one of those overcooked yolk!!
Ramyun and udon was also delicious, noodles were done jussssssst right. I will admit that I was a little thrown off by mixed greens on ramyun.
Donkatsu was one of the best as well. Pork was just the right amount of thickness and crispy.
I also don’t feel like crap after eating the food there, not over seasoned with high sodium or MSG.
People were also great there, highly highly recommend it!“

“Situated in a tranquil neighborhood near Fort Lee, NJ, this restaurant offers a delightful dining experience that feels like a hidden gem. The beef short ribs were a standout, cooked to perfection with a tenderness that melts in the mouth. The sauce and seasoning complemented the meat impeccably, adding depth without overpowering the natural flavors. Equally impressive were the cold noodles, which brought a refreshing and unique combination of flavors and textures, making for an ideal contrast to the rich short ribs. Visiting on a quiet Sunday afternoon, I found the atmosphere serene and the service attentive and courteous. This is a spot well worth a visit for those seeking exceptional Korean cuisine in a relaxed setting.“

“Our family's go-to Korean chicken place!! It never disappoints us. The chicken is always perfectly crispy and light. ???
With so many incredible flavors to choose from, we always go for the half & half option. Our favorites are the "Soy Garlic" that is sweet and savory(my son's fav) and "Cheesling(my fav)"!! coated with a light dusting of cheesy goodness that melts in your mouth.
If you're a fan of loaded fries, you need to try the Cheesling Fries. They' are topped with the same delicious cheese powder as the chicken, and when you drizzle their secret sauce on top...omg..this combination is so addictive! ?You will find it hard to stop eating. Must try!!“

“This was a pretty nice spot for a quick dinner of authentic Korean food. The atmosphere is very homey and the service is friendly. The options are a bit limited and several things on the menu weren't available when we went, but the noodles we did have were pretty good“

“If you're not sure where to eat in the area, look no further than Karden. So delicious! The potato jeon is a modern take on a classic and will definitely be a favorite for anyone wanting to ease into trying Korean food for the first time. The vegetable bibimbap was also great, my only feedback on this was that the banchan came with a pork soup and I am Muslim. In the future, they might want to ask and offer an alternative soup or broth that is vegetarian to pair with the vegetable bibimbap. All together this was truly food that rivals the expensive Korean restaurants of New York. The more reasonable price point doesn't take from the quality of the food whatsoever. It feels very much like the recipes worked on with close attention and the environment reflects it as well. I'd recommend this place for a first date, a special occasion, or to eat a meal that fills your stomach and mind. I found myself excited to try banchan I'd normally overlooked like acorn jelly. Lastly the service is stellar and your cup is never empty. Please check out this woman owned business! The owner put her whole heart into this restaurant and it shows.“

“We had korean bbq. It was pretty costly, but the meat, as far as I can tell, wasn't cheap meat, so all was good.
They also give you a good variety or banchan and they'll make fried pork belly rice if you leave some pork belly pieces after having the kbbq (add. charge)“

“Went here for a quick bite to-go, and it did not disappoint! This place is perfect for grabbing a delicious Korean hot dog (K-dog). I got the cheese-filled one mixed with hotdog and potatoes, and it was fantastic. The customizable toppings like cinnamon, spicy mayo, cheese, cheese-garlic, and honey butter powder really set this spot apart. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and fun to eat. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick, satisfying snack!“

“The place was small but cozy. The cuts and the meat were really nice and taste delicious. The cost a little bit high but I guess if you want to go and have a special time with friends may be worth it. However, since it was people waiting outside for a table our waiter was a little bit anxious so, we pay the bill and leave the table, no time for chitchat at all after eating, in case you want to go in a date or so. Also, when we arrived we had to wait 45 minutes to get a table. I don’t know it this is what always happens at night but I just mentioning so people that want to visit this place are aware that this may happen to them. You can not make a reservation ahead so it is what it is when you arrive there. Overall a nice experience.
Parking: The parking space was big enough so you don’t have to worry about parking
Kid-friendliness: Nice environment“

“I was impressed to be able to eat trendy Korean food in a hotel room at New York City. I serched korean food near Rockefeller Center and i found this place. I walked there and ordered for togo. There were kiosk to make order. I added pork belly to the seasoned rib grilled ssambap. The seasoned ribs were okay, but the pork belly was a bit hard and difficult to chew. The ssamjang was delicious and the vegetables were fresh, but it was disappointing that it contained rotten peppers. Overall it was good with reasonable price.“

“This place is so cool and very decorative which looks so cool. Also the service is very nice and kind to us. Additionally the food is so good with so many options and they are also really minimal prices. Also, if you have a child, then they will give you cost on forks and spoons which are so cute. Overall, one of the best Korean restaurant I have been to. If you love Korean food, you should really come here!!“

“My family’s go-to spot whenever we’re up in palisades park. The noodles are absolutely amazing, I actually prefer the sujebi over the noodles and it is equally as good. The starters are also good and the side dishes are always fresh, portion sizes are good and definitely worth the price!“

“I’m blown away! I placed an uber eats pickup order.
This chicken is better than I expected. I ordered the garlic soy wings with blue cheese for dip on the side.
The wings are fried to a perfect crisp on the outside of full of garlic soy flavor. The chicken itself is juicy and meaty.
My dog enviously watched me eat my meal. I was expecting to finish the whole container on my own but I was able to finish 5.
I plan to order again soon.
Parking: There is a limited amount of spaces in the street around the corner and in the back.“

“Jangkalguksu was delicious. The moderately spicy and moderately rich taste of the soybean paste soup went well with the chewy noodles. The soup would have been delicious even when eaten with rice. I didn't add rice because I thought I would be too full. To be strict, I was a little disappointed that jalapenos were used instead of Cheongyang peppers because of the greenish smell of jalapenos, but considering that it is not easy to find Cheongyang peppers here and that jalapenos are an excellent ingredient for adding spiciness, I can fully understand it. It was part.“

“We came here in March. We had a great experience and the food was delicious. The restaurant space is quite small. You get your own water. My husband really enjoyed the egg side dish. We love this place a lot and can’t wait to come back. The soy sauce marinated crab is a must try.“

“Home of arguably the best wings on planet Earth… and this is coming from a wing snob. The wings are consistently a general size, and always incredibly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The K-Ramen is nice and spicy and delicious! Michin dumplings are a go to dish. The bulgogi and bibimbap and perfectly seasoned, and very tender.“

I hope that you will continue to thrive and be able to eat delicious, high-quality food for a long time ?“

“Kbap & Wings in Midtown Manhattan is the perfect spot for comforting Korean food under $15. The 6-piece soy garlic or snow cheese wings are a must-try for just $12—crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. “I like the atmosphere of the restaurant and that it is self serve so I can eat at my own pace. I come here often because the food is good too but sometimes the 제육 돌솥 has stale, hard beef that was hard to chew but most of the times it is great. Reasonable price and I like the cold noodles.“

“I don’t know if I’ve ever been treated this well at a restaurant. My friends and I feasted like kings. Our server showed us exactly how to compose the most delicious bites imaginable and kept us plied with meat, soju, and beer. We ended up with second helpings of quite a few things on the house and had the time of our lives. If you want to take your friends or family out for a real treat, this is the spot!!!“

“Happy to be able to walk in and get seating on a Saturday night. Food was overall good. The place makes their own tofu and I loved the one that comes with their basic appetizers.
The service was a bit lacking. We had a bit of back and forth with the staff on small things that I feel like detracted from our experience.“

“Stopped in here during the rainy week, just what we needed. I ordered the spicy beef soup. Everything was delicious, clean, and service was great. Food came out very quick, I'd say under 10 minutes.
I appreciated the quieter atmosphere in there too. Trays, bowls and utensils are quality. Presentation of my soup with sides was really pleasant and the soup had plenty of meat and vegetables.
Expect a smaller menu, which is what I prefer.“

“I met a friend for breakfast and submitted two menu items for dinner.
The food tasted better than I expected, but while I was eating the soup I ordered, I felt a bit uncomfortable feeling the thin sand chewing on the rice.
I was halfway through eating it because I couldn't eat it anymore so I threw it away.
I enjoyed the dogani soup and beef stew, but while eating the soup, I felt the crunchy feeling of sand that I felt from the siraegi...
Ha... it was really bad.ㅠㅠ
I think it would be a good idea to wash the rice cooker more thoroughly.“

“The dumplings at this establishment are really good, but what makes this place stand out the most is the fact that they are kind to everyone. The staff does not discriminate based on how a customer looks, and that is really good for business. We felt welcomed!

“This place has some of the most delicious kimbaps in the area. Very good, fresh and filling. Prices were decent as well! We got a bunch of kimbap to go and it did not disappoint. We tried the regular tuna, wasabi tuna, the spicy tuna and the shrimp tempura and everything was yum. I wished they marked on the container what each kimbap was since we got so many. Also tried the spicy ddukboki (spicy rice cake) and that was delicious.Definitely recommended“

“Phenomenal. I can’t get over how sweet the lady who attended us was. This is the first restaurant I’ve been to where i felt as if the food was truly made with love. The food itself was absolutely delicious, and the price was very reasonable. My friend and I ordered the fried chicken, tteokbokki, and bulgogi kimbap. The portions were perfect, we finished ALL of it (and licked our fingers clean). Their plates are also so cute if I may add. I will definitely bring all of my friends here when they visit Teaneck.“
