“Delicious chicken. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I had takeout from K chicken and it’s always a hit with my family. Recently had lunch at the restaurant and the service was A+. My go to order is chicken wings with the sweet and spicy dipping sauce on the side so my kids can enjoy them too. Kimchi fried rice and fries are also so good!“
“This place is a fantastic find. They offer an incredible range of food, covering everything from fresh spring rolls, kimbap, and various side dishes (banchans) to hearty soups and stews. They also have great mains like donkatsu and perfectly marinated meats ready to cook at home.
The best part? It all tastes authentically home-cooked and truly delicious. Every single dish I’ve tried here has been amazing. Prices are totally fair, and the owners are such genuinely warm, kind people.
Worth noting that this is only a takeout spot. With that being said, I highly recommend this place! My new go-to spot whenever I’m craving Korean but don’t have time to cook.“

“Really enjoyed the food from Bloom Chicken.
The small boneless chicken was honestly huge and the chicken was super crispy. The spicy rice cakes were way better than I expected — especially since I don’t usually like rice cakes.
The only thing keeping this from a 5-star review is that it came with no radish, no dipping sauce, nothing on the side.
For $14 for a small order, I’d expect at least some radish, I’d also give up a few pieces of chicken for radish.
Also, it’s definitely more of a take-out spot — the covered patio is nice but not heated, therefore I ate my food in the car since it was cold.
Overall though, really solid food and an easy 4-star meal.“

“I want to say this place was great in food, vibes, and coziness. This is a great definition of a mom and pop restaurant.
Firstly the food.
I had the bulgogi bento. The bulgogi looked, smelled, and tasted amazing. It had the normal bulgogi flavor with that nice hit of smokiness almost like wokhay from Chinese cooking. I loved each bite as the smokiness hit my mouth and nose. The sides of the bento was good too, the dumplings were nice and crunchy with a nice but just a tad bit bland filling, tho to be fair the filling is fairly standard for korean dumplings. The kimichi is what I prefer, which is the more freshly made kind. And the rice was cooked as I expected from a Korean restaurant, which is good. The salads were fine again its a salad, but it was nice that they added kale to the salad adding this bit of variety. The salad dressing was sweet and a bit tangy, mostly sweet which I do like since I have a sweet tooth.
The other bento was the shrimp tempura, I did get one of the shrimp tempura and it was good. The crunchy and breading was nice and you had the shrimp flavor that was still there.
Finally the tteokbokki. It was great. The rice cakes were chewy and soft and the fish cakes were soft and not mushy. The flavor of the sauce was great too, it had this nice umami to it and was the perfect level of spicy to enjoy.
The price for the food was also reasonable. Both bento costed roughly $18 each and the tteokbokki costed $12. They also had an interesting line up of drinks that was nice.
All this aside I want to also note how cozy and welcoming it felt. The lady that was serving us was very kind and caring. She even asked about how the addition of kale to the salad was because it was a new addition that they changed because people liked kale. I really liked that attention to detail. The store was medium sized with some odds and ends here and there but that added to the charm of the place.
I went on a Thursday during lunch time and it had a good amount of business via pick up but I was there alone with the person I was with dining in.
Overall as a Korean I think this place hits better then certain places in mind the food was good and the atmosphere was comforting.
I do regret not trying some of the other menu items I guess I have to return for some more.
For the sake of Google reviews I gave everything a 5. My personal score may be closer to a 4.4 which is high for my own personal score“

“Everything was great. Very welcoming and good customer service. You can taste the flavor in the food. The only slight issue is I ordered one of the beef noodle dish and there wasn't that much beef.

“Such comforting and delicious soups 🤍 I usually get the dumpling and rice cake soup and it’s hardy and the perfect pick me up after a long day. Their banchan is also immaculate, fresh, and flavorful! Happy to support this small business and will be continuing to order from them 😊“

“What an amazing experience we had at The Plating! We dined with my brother who’s been raving about this place. It was one of the best elevated Korean food we’ve ever had.
My husband (professional chef) was blown away by the quality of food!
We started out with Gujeolpan, and ordered Braised Angus short rib, Sotbab with sliced brisket. Every dish was prepared perfectly and banchan (side dish) were freshly made by the chef.
Pricing was reasonable for the quality they provide. Anyone who’s been to modern Korean restaurants in NYC will appreciate the value of food you are getting at The Plating. We felt the chef’s passion and dedication to this wonderful restaurant. We will definitely come back with rest of our family and friends in a near future.
Decor, table setting, plates.. all the details of the restaurant were curated by the owner. If anyone wants to experience authentic modern Korean cuisine, it is worthwhile to travel to this restaurant in NJ.“

“These wings are delicious and I was very impressed... Usually when I bring wings home from any other spot, they're soggy. But this wasn't the case and after about 45 minutes of driving I came home and they were all crispy and fresh and the sauces were great too.... I enjoyed every last one of them....“

“Miguelona is a really nice person. She took a lot of attention to my little son and understood to order first for my son because he was really tired and overexcited. The owner also was really nice with us. I always being curious to try their food because I always do my shopping at Lidl and seemed to my a clean restaurant from the outside , but I had never have the chance since tonight! I have to say that it is an immaculate place. Even the food too! They don’t reuse the same oil at all. I ordered the chicken salad and I didn’t present any symptoms of burn or acidic reflux by eating fried chicken. We will repeat again.“

“We’ve been here many times, and the service is always excellent. It’s a great spot to visit, especially if someone in the group isn’t a fan of seafood. Although it’s a seafood restaurant, they offer a variety of delicious Korean dishes. Our favorites are 김치찌개, 돈까스, and 한치회무침—which almost tastes like 물회, just without the soup. All the rolls are fantastic as well. Highly recommend!“

“I had a chance to stop by this location while I was in the area, and it was my first time here, as I usually stick to the Fort Lee location. I was happy to find that the quality is just as excellent and consistent.
The tonkatsu tasted similar to what I always get, delivering that great flavor and crunch that I've come to expect from them. If you're already a fan of their other spots, you can trust that this one maintains the high standard. Highly recommended!“
“Just be mindful that the restaurant is located inside the golf academy, once you enter the building the entrance is on your left.Overall had an amazing experience, they will give you an extraordinary service and treat you like a valued customer at all time. All the dishes are delicious, yet low sodium, fresh ingredients. They have a seasonal menu and it's the best to follow what the owner suggest. They usually have very traditional, healthy dishes.“

“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting, crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. Also the service was perfect!“

“I visited this spot for the first time yesterday evening. We had a variety of Korean foods (radish kimchi, japchae, dried pollack, spring rolls) and all of them were very good. It was a total lifesaver as both my wife and I are new parents, which makes cooking difficult. I plan on coming here again and would not hesitate to recommend the store.“

“I tried 101 Chicken in Fort Lee and ended up liking it a lot more than I expected. The first thing you notice is the setup — they use a robot fryer, and the kitchen is fully visible from outside. It’s unusually clean for a fried chicken place, almost like a small lab, which immediately gives you confidence about how the food is handled.
The frying quality across the menu was consistently good, and the flavors felt cleaner and more balanced compared to a lot of other Korean-style chicken spots. Here’s what I tried:
101 Potato Crispy Chicken ($14.9)
The most unique item for sure. The potato-crusted coating gives it a sharp, crunchy bite, and the flavor has a slightly sweet, tangy “tomato snack” profile. Not ketchup, but similar enough that it stands out. I really enjoyed this one.
Supreme ($13.9)
Sweet-spicy Korean style with a creamy layer. Flavorful without feeling overly heavy. A good choice if you like sauced chicken.
Original Hot Pepper ($13.5)
Classic fried chicken with a mild spicy seasoning. The finish has a light mala-style tingle, which actually worked well.
Soy Honey ($13.5)
Light, sweet-soy glaze. Easy to eat and not overpowering.
Garlic Crumble ($13.9)
Crispy garlic bits with a touch of sweetness, somewhat like a garlic bread–inspired flavor. Nice, but less distinctive than the earlier ones.
101 Tteokbokki ($13)
Simple and nostalgic — very similar to the street-style tteokbokki you’d find outside Korean schools. Chewy rice cakes with a mildly spicy, slightly sweet sauce.
Cheese Balls ($7)
Crispy outside, chewy inside, and a little sweet at the end. Great with the truffle mayo.
They offer wings, boneless, and drumsticks. I thought the boneless was the best match for their seasoning — it’s dark-meat thigh, so it stays juicy and tender. If you prefer white meat, just keep that in mind.
Overall, I had a really good experience here.
The food was consistently well-fried, the flavors were interesting without being too much, and the open, spotless kitchen was a big plus. Definitely a place I’d come back to, and easy 5 stars from me.“

“I work locally but I’m not very familiar with the area, so I tried Bibille through Uber Eats. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was really happy with my order. I got the beef ramen, which usually comes with one egg, but I added an extra just in case. Honestly, one probably would have been enough. I also ordered a small side of kimchi, which was a perfect addition. The ramen was flavorful and filling.
I called before my order was picked up to ask about utensils, and the person who answered was kind, patient, and polite. That extra care really stood out to me.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to order again. I usually bring lunch from home, but it was such a nice treat to order out here.“

“This is a top-notch Korean restaurant that has maintained a high quality of food and service over the years. Note that the same cannot be said about almost all other Korean restaurants in the area. “Sushi & Kimchi has become my new favorite comfy, cozy, and cute hideaway in Rockland for when I want the best tasting and authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine. Gina (owner) and Julie (waitress) are both absolutely lovely! Both Gina and the restaurant remind me of what I recall to have been the first Korean/Japanese sushi house in Bardonia, NY that I grew up up dining at in the early 2000’s and up until I moved out of state in 2008. Unfortunately, that location is no longer in business, but Sushi & Kimchi definitely gives all the nostalgic feels! The foos is always fresh and absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, the service is always on point, and you’re welcomed each time with a warm welcome from everyone! It’s a little hidden gem in a parking lot off of Route 59 in Nyack that winds down in the late afternoon and is calm in the evening. The perfect place to go for an overall relaxing experience that will have you leaving full after having enjoyed every last bite! I’ve also ordered through DoorDash and the presentation, temperature, taste and overall quality were all solid as well. Thoroughly impressed!
Thank you, Gina and Julie for always taking the best care of me!“

“I’ve been to Don Chicken several times now, and it never disappoints. The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the flavors are always spot-on. I always order the rose tteokbokki too—it never gets old. The place is clean and cozy, and the staff are super friendly, which makes every visit a pleasure. Definitely one of my go-to spots!“
“The jjajangmyun here is better than a few places in NJ! My favorite though is the shrimp kanpoongi! It’s half the price and double the flavor with the same amount of shrimp compared to most restaurants. Went twice this week to order it. YUM!! The shrimp fried rice is on point too. You can’t beat the price over here.“

“I got so lucky when I randomly stumbled upon this place while getting lunch at work. As someone who loves chicken teriyaki trust me when I say you must try theirs. I have been searching for the last few years all around the bergen county area for the best chicken teriyaki and I have found it here. This is my absolute favorite! I have tried probably 50+ restaurants and nothing can beat this. From the way they prepare chicken, to the homemade sauce they use, the perfectly cooked rice and the avocado, egg and dumplings they add on.... it is one of the greatest combinations i've ever tasted. On top of that, their sushi is always delicious and fresh. If thats not enough, they also have fantastic owners and workers there. I always get a warm greeting, and they're thankful for my patronage. Fantastic all around. I will be back soon... My favorite sushi spot!“

“I recently moved to the area and Ive been on the hunt for the best food in the area - one of which was finding my new go to korean fried chicken place. This place did not disappoint and the high reviews left here are worth the hype. Ordered the spicy soy garlic + fries combo and it was deeeelicious. Fresh, hot, with the perfect amount of spice and the wings are bigger than what you'd get at a chain fried chicken restaurant. I also upgraded my fries to the truffle parmesean - truffle isnt as outstanding of a flavor but the parm was pretty good. The service is also so nice! Ill definitely be back to try their other food~“

“They are a no frills, hole-in-the-wall Korean catering business but the food and price can’t be beat! They have also been able to accommodate a quick turnaround time (24 hours) for most common dishes. Our small church uses them almost monthly. The owner is a hard working woman and she can initially come off as being a little standoff-ish, but I’ve had nice conversations with her and she is very nice. The food is consistently good and our church has no complaints! Our go-to dishes are bulgogi, spicy pork, japchae, fried dumplings. We’ve also had the galbijjim, jengban gooksu (cold noodle salad with seafood), and gimbap which are all excellent.“

Smells amazing when you walk in the door and the servers are beyond professional, friendly, and helpful. We ordered the bibimbap because we weren't quite hungry enough for AYCE. The BBQ at the table around us looked great though and next time would have planned to be hungrier for AYCE. Great food with good size portions. “I’ve been coming to Sushi Story since the day it opened, and it continues to impress every single time. The first thing that stood out to me was the service—warm, immediate, and sincere. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted and made to feel welcome. The waitresses are consistently polite, attentive, and always carry a genuine smile. In particular, the waitress with the slicked-back hair has a way of elevating every visit; she’s made several special occasions truly memorable. The restaurant is almost always busy, and for good reason. Because seating can be difficult to secure, I strongly recommend making an RSVP ahead of time. Even with the constant flow of guests, the experience never feels rushed. The master sushi chef is actively engaged with diners, adding an extra touch of authenticity and hospitality to the meal. As for the food—exceptional. The salmon and tuna are always fresh, vibrant, and prepared perfectly. It’s easily one of the best places to enjoy a great evening out with family or friends. And don’t forget: it’s BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite bottle of wine. Sushi Story is truly a gem, and I look forward to visiting again very soon.“
