“Had their food for the first time the other day as takeout. Staff was very nice. Food was good. I had the gyro sparta wrap...very good I also tried their rice pudding. It was very good but I think $7 for a cup is pricey. I would go back to try other dishes.“

“I had a wonderful experience at Symposium Greek Restaurant! I ordered the lamb chops to go. They were absolutely delicious,flavorful, and well seasoned. The customer service was exceptional. The host was warm, welcoming, and attentive, taking the time to explain the menu and educating me about the restaurant’s history, including its distinction as the oldest Greek restaurant in New York City.
The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning, with its original decor beautifully preserved from the beginning. The hand painted ceiling, elegant light fixtures, beautiful furnishings, and intricate details throughout create a timeless and captivating atmosphere. Even though I ordered my meal to go, I was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. From the food and exceptional service to the breathtaking ambiance, Symposium left a lasting impression. I would highly recommend it and look forward to returning for the full dining experience.“

“Came here on a Saturday at 4 pm . Was pretty dead . Not sure why . The atmosphere, service, food was AMAZING. From the octopus appy & feta dip , to all entrees was so delicious, especially the seafood pasta dish . The balaclava was to die for …. Highly recommend this wonderful friendly restaurant to any foodie looking for an exquisite meal . ♥️“

“what a pleasant surprise to have met my friend for her Birthday here and the inside is so nice! The staff very accommodating and the food was really good, my friend loves Greek food and raved about the spinach pie she ordered! I enjoyed my salad so much and I would definitely make this my new go to!“

“I love this place, grow up eating here. The ppl are awesome and so is the food. One of the best in NYC. We don't live in NY anymore, but when we travel back home gyro kings are one of our favorite locations we love to pick up food from. A must buy“

“Had a wonderful dinner upstairs at Axia celebrating our 53 rd Wedding Anniversary! Much more quiet than the downstairs room especially it you want to talk to your date! Loved the ambiance, wait staff, and especially the outstanding selection of food we ordered!“
