“It was difficult to snag a spot for dinner because they are always booked. I don’t know if walk-ins are welcomed, but I used the OpenTable notification to get my table for the evening.I liked the food A LOT. Of course, it’s nice to have an unlimited supply of entrees and pitas. The portion of the main course is not very big, but you will probably be full from eating all that hummus and baba ganoush stuff.“
“Outstanding in every respect, especially with Ross helping make our experience exceptional. Sit inside the main restaurant if possible for the best vibe, and sitting at the counter is great. Food selection is great and we appreciate the small dishes for sharing - though one Ferna each please. Drinks are also good…maybe too good…the Tyre is a favorite. Enjoy!“
“I’ve always wanted to try this place and it did not disappoint. We got the dip spinner and a few extras recommended by our wonderful waiter, Zorbey. Also the off-menu chicken on the spitter was perfect for our group of 6. Affordable as well!“
“All great things to say about Zizi! Stumbled on it searching for a reservation with friends early on a Friday evening. All involved are big fans of Mediterranean food, and we needed to be in this area to head over to a show afterward. So it ticked all the boxes. What I figured would be a good dinner and convenient turned into an extraordinary meal. We ordered everything to share and we ordered a lot so I feel like I tried the whole menu. Everything - literally every dish - was truly excellent. Cocktails were also terrific. Particularly the espresso martini and the margarita got raves. Our waiter was lovely -- patient and friendly and added to the great vibe of the whole experience. Wish I asked his name - he gets high marks.“
“All in all I had a really enjoyable time here. We ordered a few different dishes all which were beautifully presented and had good flavor although I felt some could have used a bit more acidity. I loved the market salad, the hummus, the cauliflower and the salmon. The branzino and prawns weren’t as fresh and the branzino was a little overcooked. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us which I really appreciated.“
“Drawing its roots in the noble tradition of Yemeni coffee, this coffee house first serves fabulous beverages: especially taste the Sanaani, cardamom coffee ($10 for a pot of sharing coffee), or a classic "pour-over" ( $8 for the large model) to appreciate a beautiful expression coming from high-class Arabica coffee beans, processed with respect for the product. The typical pastries, Khaliat Alnahl and Sabaya, or even the coconut Basboassa are really all very tasty. Delicious !“
“loved the food be sure to make reservations since the line gets long for waitlist i tried to make a review earlier but yelp prevented me so i lost the pics saved to the drafts. personally feel we should be able to post food reviews regardless anyways i got the yogurt marinated lamb with a bed of rice for 2 people but in reality it was for 4 ppl huge portions and i loved it ambiance is nice can get crowded since the min sometimes waits inside and they need a better system. overall i'll come back here really good eats“
“I have never tried sweets and especially Turkish sweets like in this store before. It was recommended by so many people and it is even above all my expectationsThey have all kind of deserts and let me tell you it is soooooo delicious and makes you feel happy longer after you tries itOne of the best and elegant places and wonderful customer serviceI strongly recommend trying this place at least once before you die ?“
“Lovely spot, came for brunch on my birthday. Same great food and great service as always, but I was surprised to find the Yemenite Pancake renamed (which is the best thing on the menu).I always thought they were cool for putting aside differences and shouting out their southern neighbors… I mean, Yemenis food is delicious.“
“Always fantastic. Best food, best service. Gazala is so kind, always smiling, always there to make sure everything is running smoothly and customers are happy. And the food is Devine. Better than anywhere in the world. See you next weekend for the best brunch in town!“
“As expected, Solomonov delivers with K'Far Bakery in Williamsburg. Having been to the original Philadelphia outpost of K'Far, this one manages to succeed and even improve past the original. Huge, well lit, expansive space seamlessly merges Huxton lobby with K'Far Bakery space, with the restaurant group's branding prominent, punchy, and on point just as you would expect! The best way to brunch here seems to be with a group, and sharing to be able to try everything! The pistachio sticky bun was a pistachio lovers dream. The lemon cheesecake babka was a match made in heaven, soft warm, fluffy, and filled with unctuous lemony deliciousness. The almond challah Danish, another winner. The borekas with their delicious fillings, the hummus bowls, the arayes...all score top marks. The yemeni latte was delicious. Solomonov brought Israeli cuisine to the US and consistently shows a masterful hand in guiding its understanding by the American public with these delicious and approachable flavorful dishes! Can't miss this brunch spot, nor Laser Wolf!“
“Located north of Radio city hall, there seems to be a new competitor coming up for Adel's famous halal. This place is run by Afghans and they are really warm and welcoming people to their food truck also the service is quick while the food is served hot and fresh. After reading some reviews here, I opted for a chicken chapli kebab platter. Chapli kebab is basically a ethnic Pashtun dish from the border region of Afghanistan-Pakistan. The minced chicken was good while adding the right amount of spices to give a succulent taste, for the first time, I had cumin rice and it tasted good and was a welcome change from the regular saffron rice available elsewhere. These people provided fries alongside salad and topped it with white sauce which had the right amount of thickness while their mint sauce was a welcome addition to this. I don't usually go for the spicy sauce as I'm not a big fan of it.Overall it's a great experience to try something for the first time apart from halal guys and adel's. The big advantage of the food is that it lacks food coloring like adel's and whatever prepared is done in the right way while also the wait time is very less compared to adel's and halal guys.“
“Zaffron Bloom in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, is a delightful addition to the culinary scene, offering a fusion of Modern Persian Cuisine with Middle-terranean influence. Helmed by Chef Shahin, whose years of catering experience have culminated in the realization of her dream restaurant, Zaffron Bloom promises a unique dining experience. The restaurant's namesake spice, saffron, is aptly celebrated for its rich history, cultural significance, and exquisite flavor profile.During our lunch visit, we were treated to a delicious meal that surpassed our expectations. The service was impeccable, exceeding the standard. Our decision to dine at Zaffron Bloom was influenced by a friend's glowing recommendation, and we're thrilled to have discovered this gem. Zaffron Bloom truly embodies the essence of "the spice of life" with its innovative approach to traditional Persian cuisine. Deliciousness!! To all Yelpers.... Guys we have to support small local business. It's more important than you can imagine especially during these times. Give them a try, we're sure you'll enjoy it. Be on the lookout... a little insider info, they'll soon be opening a market adjacent to Zaffron. Good luck with all and future ventures. @vinopotato.“
“I know this place just opened, but I extremely highly recommend. A few of my friends came to eat here and so I decided to give it a try. Walking in, I was surprised how there was literally no one there but a ton of workers which I guess was great for me as they were super attentive. I was a bit surprised by the prices were pretty high for something that was supposed to be take-out, but the minute they start making the shawarma, I knew why it was more expensive. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma platter and it was delicious! Perhaps one of the best shawarmas I've had in the city. First of all, they gave us a platter just for all the toppings, did I mention that they are unlimited, that they had. Sometimes the toppings don't have that much flavor, but each one was very complex and flavorful. The chopped salad was light and fresh which balanced out the finely chopped pickles which added a sour taste. The red cabbage slaw which was slightly savory and slightly sour balanced out the onions that had a slight charred on it. I was so delighted by all the different toppings, which is where I think the place definitely shines. The chicken itself was okay, tender but not crazier than normal. Overall, I had an amazing experience and especially with the portion sizes, the platter could easily feed a family of 4 with additional leftovers. I think it will take me at least 6-7 meals before eating it all but I did add some of my own rice to counteract the bounty of flavors. I will say that they don't automatically give you the rice or the fries so big reminder to ask them for that when you come.“
“Absolutely incredible meal & service here. Everything we had was delicious. The warm bread to the wine to the hummus to the labneh to the tabouleh- we had the abdaneh chicken (per suggestion & highly recommended!) … my list goes on! Mustafa & staff were just lovely. Try it out :) homey vibe & fabulous!“
“I had dinner at Lashevet restaurant last week. The food was outstanding! I had octopus for an appetizer and salmon for a main course. It was delicious ! The humus was blended with beats and was absolutely delicious! I have never tried anything like that before! I had Basbousa St Germain cake for desert. It was to die for! And then they gave me tea with ginger, lime, mint and honey. I had an incredible evening and delicious dinner! The ambiance in the restaurant was very relaxing after a hard day at work. I will definitely be back and this time for both dinner and breakfast that I hear has incredible deserts.“
“It was a fantastic experience overall, and I was thoroughly pleased. I made dinner reservations a few days ahead for an outing with friends. We got there around 15 minutes before our reservation time, and the restaurant staff made an extra effort to seat us promptly and accommodate our large group comfortably. The food was delectable, and the service was outstanding. This restaurant truly lives up to its reputation.“
“The beautiful, intimate atmosphere and absolutely top notch comfort food would be worth it alone - BUT the service was also awesome. After we were graciously seated without a reservation (try to book ahead because you really won't want to miss this place), the staff was so kind, friendly, and attentive. Absolutely everything we had was wonderful but the knafeh actually brought a tear to my eye. ❤️ Absolutely would recommend 5 out of 5 stars.“
“Intimate restaurant with great vegetarian options. Halloumi, labne, crispy cauliflower and veggie curry were standouts. Also shoutout to the bartender for the gold rush cocktail (no longer on the menu, but just as good as we remembered).Dietary restrictions: Waiter was knowledgeable about ingredients and helped me navigate a nut and sesame allergy.“
“Tiny inside but a nice (& still warm) enclosed outdoor space. We waited a few minutes to get a table away from the door.I liked the variety of the mezza plate offerings including some not normally seen on USA menus. Some were good but could use more spice (Nivik, Avocado) and others not so much (roasted cauliflower was a disappointment and served cold). The Citrus Chicken soup was delicious although there were no chickpeas or cilantro or caramelized onions that I noticed. For some reason it took 3 reminders to get it (did they run out and start from scratch?).Falafel plate was good, not great. Lamb in the kebab was bland. Don’t bother ordering.Expensive for what you get.“
“I was delightfully surprised at how. much I enjoyed this restaurant. Went with a friend who, like me, loves Meditteranean cooking. Having traveled to different countries in Mediterranean, I learned it's more about the "farm to table" concept in preparation. You can appreciate the natural flavors of the ingredients when they come together. Well, Lo and Behold, the food at Bustan was delicious. Simply delicious. We had hummus and the portion was small and we wanted more. But instead of ordering a second, we went with Israeli Salad and then the branzino in a dish called Moroccan Fish. Yum yum. Their bread, the taboon bread, was delicious. We each couldn't get enough of the sauce in the Moroccan fish dish. Service was fantastic. Our waiter, Leonardo, knew the menu and was helpful. We weren't planning on getting desserts but then with his prodding, we got the Malabi and the halvah with ice cream. Both were so satisfying. I would definitely go back. Ambiance was lovely... very easy on the eyes. Oh I need to mention my cocktail, the spicy smoky margarita with an adjustment to go easy on the sugar was made to perfection. You won't be disappointed.“
“Wow this was the best middle Eastern food I've had at a restaurant. I wish I had a chance to meet the owner because I have so much respect for the multitude of levels her dishes had. I had one dish that could be tasted in 5 different ways with the variety of sauce combinations available on the plate alone. The prices to me were well below what they deserved to be. Whenever I go back to New York I will definitely be back here. It also hit close to home for me because my Sita used to make kibeh and it was a joy trying an elevated version of what she used to make from the pistachio baklava to the kibeh itself. So happy this place exists.“
“Alright! Where do i begin?! There were 4 people behind the counter and when i walked in, all four greeted me. The manager greeted at the ordering station and didnt overwhelm me to order my food as this was the first time being there. He asked me if id like any suggestions and we landed on the chicken platter with spicy chickpeas rice and cole slaw. Everything about this bowl was immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. I also ordered their fries because why not!The portion size was generous but not overbearing. They had the mexican coke glass bottles which was a great choice to wash the food down with. I got the brown to top it all off and it was amazing. Chipotle, Qdoba, Halal Guys even have nothing on Juicy Platters. I definitely will be coming back with the family!“
“Outstanding! Super comfort-chic vibe and great ambiance all around. Management, servers, et all were A plus. Passover pre fixe and A la carte were just perfect. Matzah hall soup and gefilte fish app platter were superb! A definite go to again!“
“If you are looking for a delicious Mansaf, Kan Zaman is the place. The service is very friendly and the portion of the meal is more than enough. The atmosphere is also great. Very good seatings and you can always have the Arabic coffee thats available for free after the meal. Keep it up guys ??“
“I just finished dining here for the 2nd time and my experience was amazing.I had The Lamb Shish & Chicken Adana combination platter, the meats were well done and the flavor was on point. Our waiter Salih suggested we try the Turkish Coffee and it did not disappoint, he made our experience 100% better.“
“Persepolis has been in our neighborhood for years but we never got there. It's a spacious but intimate-feeling restaurant with very attentive, friendly service and excellent (and abundant!) food. Also a range of very good variations on the mojito! The eggplant appetizers and, of course, kebabs are excellent. Very nice decor.“
“Best food we ate in NYC, especially because we can't get it in San Francisco. The $10 price point makes it even more delicious and worth the hour wait in line. Portions are perfect for post-show munchies and you can tell the meat is so fresh. Always ask for extra white sauce!“
“Love this place so much and happy to see them expanding! My go-to are their mix shawarma and chicken shawarma plate - good portion, very flavorful, but never leave you feeling food coma as weekday lunch. I also recommend their lentil soup and wrap! their free cinnamon tea is always a plus:)“
“Stumbled upon this place while in the area and was beyond pleasantly surprised. All the ingredients were delicious and fresh. I got the chicken shawarma bowl and it was amazinggg. The service was also very good! They were very patient and explained all the ingredients.Dietary restrictions: Very healthy options“
“Seasoned with herbs and aromatics. Not overly seasoned, good grade of meat, rice is bit sticky but great flavor. The bread was made in house, crispy on the outside fluffy and chewy on the inside. Overall a great place to get your dose of Turkish food. Ordered through Ubereats“
“Been eating At this lovely restaurant for years.. it’s about time to give them the review they deserve.. absolutely amazing and highly recommended to anyone who’s into authentic Mediterranean food.Shout out to Rayan and his brother for incredible services.“
“This place is cozy and has an amazing variety of Mediterranean cuisine. Excellent service! The pita is perfectly soft and goes very well with their homemade hummus and baba ganoush. Every dish is authentic and delicious. From their fresh mint lemonade to their dessert, everything was wonderful. I hope they stay around for a long time because we’ll be eating here more often. Thank you!“
“This place is amazing! Such fresh food and amazing service! I regularly get the chicken schnitzel platter (make sure to get the white sauce, it is incredible) and I also love their falafel pita sandwich - they have an incredible salad bar with all types of toppings - once you’ve gone here, you won’t be able to go anywhere else - real talk“
“East Village stroll on a warm Sunday in March. Hadn't had schwarma in a long time and saw someone post about it on IG. Had the schwarma west pita with chicken, amba, tahina, harissa. So flavorful, fresh ingredients and packed ... pita didn't fall apart. Love that they mix all of the ingredients together so you don't get layered bites. I took half home and unless there is extra chicken hiding on the bottom, I felt like it could have used more. $15 ($16.34 with tax). Super friendly service. Would recommend and look forward to trying the falafel next time.“
“This quick service branch of Al basha has food that was amazing best Middle Eastern food in all of jersey and the customer service was impeccable the server Anwar Lotfe provided me with some of the most amazing customer service I’ve ever experienced ♥️“
“We’ve had Middle Eastern/Lebanese food in Paris, San Francisco, Montreal, Miami, London and other cities and this place probably takes 1st place out of all of them. Delicious food most importantly but also great service and ambience. Falafels are top notch, so is the hummus.“
“I found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try because I was in town on business. The atmosphere was very inviting. My server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and very helpful in many recommendations. I ended up with the lunch special kebab. It came with the most delightful salad featuring best flavors! The main course was a generous portion of chicken, rice, and another salad. I would definitely make it a point to visit here again!“
“We have been going to this small restaurant every time we come to NY for many years and truly never been disappointed. We often stay at the Lucerne, and it's walking distance for lunch or dinner.Yes, the hummus is amazing, but so is the falafel, the wine, and all the vegetarian offerings. It's the first place my daughter wanted to come off the plane from Atlanta when she was pregnant. That should tell you something!“
“Hands down this is the best falafel I have ever had. So fresh, so tasty, and is truly made with love. The interior of this restaurant is very unique and homey. I also had the kufta sandwich that has since become my new favourite. The service is always top notch and the plate presentation is always very impressive.“
“The food is very delicious, fresh, and it is a great portion. I like the sides that the sandwich comes with. The shawarma is very flavorful and perfect. I picked the lamb shawarma sandwich and would recommend it. The service was amazing and everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. All of our orders were correct. The ambiance was great too, it a nice and many tables to sit at. The music wasn't too loud. I would highly recommend this spot if you are in the area and looking for a good bite to eat.“
“We ate there two Shabbats in the last month.Excellent foodExcellent service .Ephraim the owner is there and takes care of everyone.Reasonable price for a very good Saturday night dinner(New prices are expensive). In short, delicious, nice and worth every dollar.with appetite“
“Amazing Falafel sandwiches, authentic as it gets, and as clean as it gets!Vegetarian options: Vegetarians will love this place, king of falafelKid-friendliness: Staff is super friendly and the inside is very cozy, your family will feel at home“

Your dish and every dish is prepared with perfection it's like your eating at your Mom's house. If you're looking to eat like home made food then this your place. Highly recommended, definitely will visit again. Thank you Alibaba.“
“We had our baby's first birthday party / Korean dohljanchi at Mado and it could not have been more perfect. Aret and everyone at the restaurant were so wonderful to work with. They were happy to work with my requests and made party planning so easy. The space was the perfect size with ample parking for our guests. The food was amazing and everyone raved about the pillowy bread, dips, and entrees. Highly recommend it whether it's for a family meal or event. (Photos by Lisi Halabi Photography)“
“Delish food! Came for breakfast with my parents while they were in town. Made a resy in advance just in case, place wasn't packed on a saturday at 10AM which was nice. Service was great, they were quick and nice. The food was delicious. the pita bread was to die for. Freshly made, savory, warm, amazing. I tried some of my mom's pancakes and they were amazing, soft, yum. I got the Shakshouka and i loved it. Location is right by Domino park, indoors was cozy but not too crammed. I enjoyed myself, will def come back.“
“Great Laffa, feels like israel, with the salads and fries.I’m vegan, but the Shawarma and the breaded chicken (schnitzel) looks amazing!Give it a try, try all the salads!Vegetarian options: I eat laffa or pita with hummus, salads, and fries. And fries on the side comes with almost every dish, when you dine in.Dietary restrictions: With so many options and veggies, you’ll surly find something for everyone and anyone.“
“You have a fair number of Middle Eastern bakery options on Paterson, and the standard is fairly high across the board just to keep up with the competition and stay in business. That being said, the Alhamadanya Sweets is outstanding in every way. With a mind blowing assortment of Middle Eastern sweets and great service. All the sweets we sampled was delicious and superior. Their individual pastries are works of art and they taste great too and are definitely habit forming!“
“Today was my first visit here, and it made me wish I lived closer! George and his staff made us feel like family, and the food was all so fresh and delicious. We started with an order of Zaatar fries [where have you been all my life]. They arrived crispy and seasoned to perfection. They need nothing, but a side of lebneh to dip in would take them over the top; note to self for next time... Next out was a huge and stunning platter, the mixed grill for two. See my pic for the lovely presentation of tasty grilled meats and veggies they served us. There was more than enough for us to share, and it was all thoughtfully prepared. Sure, I may have overdone it with the garlic sauce, but it was worth every minute! Just make sure everyone else has some, too.Not everyone belongs in this business, but George and his people certainly do; I feel like I just got back from having home-cooked lunch at my cousin's.Oh, don't miss the Iced Mint Lemonade! They serve it frozen, and it's a real treat.“
“Hooooo boy that red sauce is ???. Kept wondering why the lady behind the counter be looking at me like I was insane when I told her to pour more on it like three times. Anyways. The combo platter is fantastic, quick service and very reasonable price for the quality and quantity. Zero complaints here. Great experience, will absolutely be coming back... probably gonna go easier on the red sauce tho.“
