“So I just had iftaar with their tikka paratha roll that I had got last Sunday evening. It just tasted so good even though I ate it cold straight from the fridge. 😊 It didn't taste as good when I had ordered it on site. Then, without me even asking for anything, they remade it and gave it to me to take it home with me even though I had told them I was full. 😊😊 The largest portions I have ever seen anywhere, good food, clean, best interior and decor, excellent service. I have yet to see a BETTER or even equally nice place in NYC. 🤍 Jo baat hay. Food makes/breaks the mood.“

“We stopped by this place without much research and the Stir Fried Lagman blew us away. We also got the Plow Rice and the Rice Noodles which were both yummy but the Stir Fried Lagman was TOO good! I definitely recommend checking them out when possible and I highly recommend trying the stir fried Lagman dish, you will not be disappointed!“

“My wife had been craving Tajen ever since we had it on Morocco. The food was as if we were sitting in Morocco. We ordered two soups Harir and lentil soup. I personally like Harir but lentil soup was ok. Then we ordered Lamb and fish Tajen one with rice and other with bread. Lamb Tajen was out of this world. Fish Tajen was good too. But if you don't have a big appetite, I would highly recommend skipping everything else and just have the lamb Tajen. Atmosphere was cozy and service took a bit of time because they make it fresh so be patient. Overall great experience of having Morocco food without spending thousands of dollars.“

“I have been going here since it opened. Friendly staff. Highly recommend the lunch special with generous portions. I recently learned that the small container of onion relish now costs $2–it used to be automatically added to the order. Also, the food in my usual order used to be pleasantly spicy but various items are extremely fiery (happens occasionally with the samosas and most recently with the aloo matar gobi). Took off a star for that but it’s still a solid option!“

“They cater to your request. The menu is deep with options and the chicken is always fresh. Now as far as the gyro is concerned the combo over rice is on spot. Even if you want it over salad its good. I recommend it if you're up on Jerome Ave by Gunhill road....“

“When I got my food, some people lined up that were regulars. The server knew all their favorites and even came out to hug one of the customers. He was so nice! The food came out quickly, but I wouldn’t have cared if it took a while. I accidentally blocked the way for a stroller to get through because I was chatting with him since he was so nice. 10/10 :)“

The only small issue was that it was a little difficult to hear the employee speaking because she was very quiet and the plexiglass made communication harder. He suggested the chicken tenders and it was very fresh, I also saw a couple order the fish and it was fried to order —it looked so good. Honestly I’m very grateful the owner was able to make it right. Will be coming back again!

“Having a meal ordered from Shah's in Inwood is like having Thanksgiving dinner with every order because the food is outstanding, consistent, fresh, and the service is excellent!! My son and I have been ordering from Shah's 2 - 3 times a week for the past 8 months because the restaurant never fails. My son orders the meat combo and I order either the falafel or fish platter. Both of us order everything: white, hot, and barbecue sauce; chick peas and black beans. In addition to the cukes and tomatoes, customers can also add olives and pickled red cabbage on their meal!! Tiebah and Thaliah are always welcoming, and always remember our names and our orders. We are never disappointed!!!“

“The sliders are decent and large with a good varying amount of spice levels suited for anyone to enjoy. The hot mozz on the other hand, which is pretty viral, was a let down. It tastes really heavily like one of the red peppers, cayenne or paprika, and seems to just be known for a cheese pull.“

“I went with my bro to try this chicken spot and it was top. I ordered the big back burger and it crushed !! The combination of all the toppings plus the special big back sauce was so good. My bro ordered the Alito fries , I tried some of the chicken - soft and tasty. We shared waffles and chicken as well. The waffles were great. The plus thing - all of it was halal! I definitely would recommend anyone to eat here and I will be visiting again soon!“

I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“This place is incredible! The owner was extremely nice and welcomed us with complimentary falafel samplers while we waited. They turned out to be some of the best falafels I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside.
For our main meals, my wife and I ordered the combo over rice and the chicken over rice. The portions are massive; the owner really filled the boxes up to the brim. The meat was well-seasoned, juicy, and paired perfectly with the rice and sauces. Excellent food, massive portions, and top-tier hospitality. We will definitely be back!“

“I have been coming to Continental Express for the past I don't even remember how many years but they their food is just simply amazing tasty they're really nice everything about them is the best they are one and only food truck that I go to and is not many but that is the one that I go to when I am downtown Manhattan they are phenomenal all the best to them and they're great food.“

“This has become my go to halal spot in Harlem (Across from Harlem Hospital). The variety and food is good, but the customer service is top tier! Also, you can definitely get some foods customized and not feel like it’s an issue! Harlem’s biggest chicken wraps!“

“I’ve been coming here for a long time, and this used to be one of our favorite halal carts. We would regularly drive in from Long Island with groups of friends and family, especially for the falafel, which was always outstanding.

Unfortunately, since Hamza left, I’ve noticed a significant decline in both the service and the overall quality of the food. The owner has always been friendly and seems like a genuinely good person, so I’m not sure exactly what’s changed behind the scenes, but it just doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Today we came as a family, and there were three new employees working. It was pretty clear they weren’t happy to be there, and the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. We did have a larger order, but in the past that was never an issue—we were always greeted warmly and appreciated as customers.

I’m leaving this review because I genuinely want to see this place succeed. The food and service used to be exceptional, and I hope they can get back to the standard that made so many of us loyal customers.“

“If you’re in Queens and you haven’t been to Broski Grill yet, you’re sleeping. This is the city that set the standard for halal street food — and Broski Grill is holding that flag with both hands.
I got the combo over rice with fries — crinkle cut — loaded with chipotle sauce, white sauce, hot sauce, and green sauce. Look at that box. That’s not a meal, that’s a flex.
The rice is a proper base, the meat is seasoned right, and the crinkle cuts hold up under all that sauce without going limp — which tells you the fries are fresh and the timing is on point. The sauce game is elite. White sauce is herby and creamy, the hot sauce brings real heat, the green sauce adds that fresh brightness, and the chipotle ties the whole thing together. Every bite hits different depending on what combination lands on the fork.
But what separates Broski Grill from every other spot on the block is the people. The owners genuinely care.
