Indian Restaurants near Union

“the best frozen meal I've ever had! the chicken is high quality and the sauce is full of flavor! I'd highly recommend!“

“4 stars for the quick unloading time. 1 star for their location and planning access for trucks. Its a convoluted route to get in off of 78. Even worse going back out. Very tight. Try to have your tandems slid as far up as you can. Your truck GPS is the only route you can follow. Youll have to time the last u-turn perfectly.“

“Highly recommend!! Food, service and ambiance was amazing!!! Our servers were the best, shout out to Zeel & Pratik! We had the best butter chicken & chicken 65. Their kathi rolls was so good too. Zeel & Pratik recommended mango plaza for dessert, it was delicious! Will be coming back for more delicious food ??“

“The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy, with a cozy and intimate setting that was perfect for a romantic evening or a special occasion. I was thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail, from the stunning décor to the carefully curated music selection.“

“Beautiful space and good service“

“It's already crowded with excellent reviews here, but it's all true. We went for a meal and had a food experience. If you are a foodie, if you love good Indian, this place is a gem. Make a reservation and let Sonny order for you!“

“We always enjoy our meals at Indian kitchen and Grill. Whether we get take out or dine in, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is fresh and flavorful, the music is calming jazz and the booths are so comfortable. We have many favorite dishes @ we especially love the thickness & taste of the raita. We highly recommend this restaurant, and we also enjoyed it 25 years ago when it was Begum Palace. The owners make us feel like family.“

“The host Ranjitha and team deccan spice were excellent. Would recommend to everybody😊“

“Nagpuri Sahuji in Iselin, NJ, is a gem, renowned for its masterful saffron-infused Old Fashioned, an exquisite rarity. Their Puran Poli is exceptional, boasting a homemade taste with a generous filling and a thin, non-greasy cover. Not only is it authentically Sahuji, but it's also a haven for delicious food. Owners Neeraj and Swapna add a personal touch with their warm, down-to-earth hospitality. The ambiance and service are nothing short of five-star. A must-visit for an unforgettable dining experience“

“Good ambiance.tasty food.staff is very friendly. Would definitely recommend.“

“Amazing tasty food“

“If you like Mexican and Indian food, you must try masalamex! Everything I ordered was so good. I will definitely come back here!“

“The food was below average, mainly the paneer 65 biryani.
The bowl base was filled with chilli paneer peaces (appetizer kind of thing) and above that was vegetable biryani.
I got 2 items for 1 price 😂.
Sorry, but definitely not a go to place after this experience.“

“It is really good good with good quantity Very friendly staff and good at explaining their menu Must try“

“Authentic North Indian food. Ambience is very nice. Friendly staff and good service.“

“Best, most authentic Misal Pav and Kanda Bhaji! brought back memories of me growing up in Bombay. today was the perfect day for something like this and to walk down memory lane! The muggy cloudy rainy days only mean garmagarm Kanda Bhaji Garmagarm Chai! thank You thank You thank You!“

“Great food and services ✌️✌️“

“This place is an absolute foodie paradise!
I stumbled upon it in a hurry, and it was a pure delight for my taste buds. It’s been a while since I last had authentic dhaba-style food, and Punjabi Dhaba is the perfect place to satisfy that craving.“

“The food is really good. They have added multiple items to the menu. Live pani puri is the best i have tried and lasooni gobi is a must try. Other kathiawadi items are just as good as they were at their previous location. Looking forward to trying more items off their menu in the next visit“

“Attended a private birthday party there, requested mild flavor and ALL the foods are delicious! From the owner and crew are great especially Mavi! She brightened the room. It is highly recommended.“

“Nice size hall, party setup, good tasting food, bar, and respectful staff for hosting 100+ people parties easily .. enjoyed the ambiance of the well managed place.“

“A beautiful, elevated setup for a thali spot—definitely a much-needed addition compared to other Gujarati thali places in NJ. The food tasted amazing, and the service was top-notch with prompt refills throughout the meal. I especially appreciated how kid-friendly they are; they didn't force a full thali on our child, which prevented unnecessary food waste. A fantastic experience overall!“

“A great experience with takeaway catered food.
While we have ordered from here several times, this weekend we had a birthday party where we served food from Bayleaf. I went in person on Wednesday and spoke with Terence who was tremendously helpful in suggesting amounts and taking our order. The order was ready as scheduled Saturday and everyone enjoyed the trays of food: biryani samosas sauces and naan- even provided serving tongs and spoons. It was an easy and delicious experience for self serve party food. Thank you to the BayLeaf restaurant! Highly recommend.“

“Obwroy gave good service amazing place ,I came here very far place ,Food is always oshhm“

“Tried Saci Indian Bistro for the first time and I am thoroughly impressed! We ordered a mix of things, including their pasta and some sides, and every single dish was packed with incredible flavor. What really stood out to me was that they actually read and followed all of our specific custom instructions to the letter which is rare to find these days! A special shoutout to the peri peri momos they were completely on the spot with the spice level and flavor. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and tasted amazing. Great portions and fantastic quality. Will definitely be ordering from here again to try more of their menu“

“I have tasted this Chef’s creations — It’s a foodie experience!! Just Divine! A combination of Homemade food with a touch of intrigue!! It is Addicting- one trip and you will want to put it on an auto pilot to go back week after week !!“

“The food was delicious and had really good flavor! Just wish there was an option to choose the spice level when ordering through delivery apps. There’s no way to select the spice level or leave instructions, which would be really helpful.“

“So glad that we have Indian Xpress in short hills, we have missed having an Indian restaurant here. They are an extension of Raaz in jersey city. And we have always loved Raaz’s food. Delicious and authentic North Indian food. Great food and Great Service!!! Highly recommended“

“We had tasted the food in a friend's party and we had enjoyed it. We did a take out and we bought only vegetarian food. There's a large selection for meat as well.
I loved the vegetarian biriyani. The paneer starters were good too.
We'll definitely go back for party orders.
For dine in, it's a simple small place with a few tables. A bit cramped and noise level can be high if half the place is filled along with a loud Punjabi music.“

“Chowpatty recently catered my wedding and their food and service was phenomenal! Not only did they create mouthwatering dishes, but they took into consideration of the type of food we were looking to serve our guests. They provided constructive feedback and went above and beyond to give us tasteful ideas that we hadn’t even thought of. The team expressed enthusiasm to give us the best experience we could ask for during one of the most important weekends of our lives. Chowpatty never treated our wedding as a job, but an event they were proud to serve. They continue to strive for the best and push beyond their limits to give everyone a truly, unforgettable experience. Thank you Chowpatty for giving our families and friends a weekend they are still reminiscing about! Purvi & Shiven“

“Me and my husband were both looking for a biryani spot and found this place on google. I’m glad that we did because the food was excellent. The flavors were top notch and the spice levels were noticeable between our two dishes. Yummy food, would come back again“

“Rude owner and worse customer service! When we are with big group there is food quality change. Not giving onion or chutney. Poor service.“

“I have been going to Moghul for over 15 years and they never disappoint. The service is wonderful and the food is full of flavor. Always a great experience with staff and fresh“

“Came here last minute to get food, I do not regret my decision on coming here. The food was very delicious and yummy. Love this restaurant.“

“We just ordered takeout from here for the first time and the food was amazing! We tried the Chana saag and the Kadai paneer, and the flavors were exactly what we were craving! Perfect level of spice as well.

Please excuse the photos — we had already transferred the curries to glass bowls and devoured half of it before realizing we should stop to write a review and take pictures. Can’t wait to go back and try more!“

“Very good customer service, and the workers was very attentive and professional and the food was really excellent thanks you so much and definitely I’m going to come back again thanks“

“Insanely incredible Indian food for extremely reasonable price!! Go for the all you can eat lunch buffet and put a little bit of everything on your plate and I promise you will not be disappointed. In all the times I have ever gone I have never had a single thing I did not like there. Also, their mango lassi is to die for! 🙏 🙌“

“Great place for good food“

“Very tasty but very costly.“

“GreAt food. Coming here for years“

“Loved their Chicken Dum Biryani, some of the best-cooked rice and perfectly cooked meat I've had in the US recently. It was an unplanned visit and totally worth it. We even did a repeat order of the biryani and will definitely be back!“

“From the very first bite, I could tell that these sweets were made with love, care, and top-quality ingredients. The freshness, aroma, and texture were absolutely perfect — every piece melted in my mouth and left a lingering taste of happiness. Whether it was the rich chocolate flavor or the traditional sweets, everything tasted authentic and well-balanced — not too sugary, just right.

The presentation was equally impressive! The packaging was clean, elegant, and handled with care, which made it feel extra special. It’s clear that attention to detail and customer satisfaction are top priorities here. I also appreciated the prompt service and friendly attitude — the team truly values their customers and makes the entire experience smooth and pleasant.

These sweets are perfect for any celebration, family gathering, or simply to treat yourself after a long day. I’ve already recommended them to my friends and family, and everyone loved them too. It’s rare to find sweets that bring such joy and comfort in every bite.

If you’re looking for something truly delightful, high-quality, and made with passion, these sweets are a must-try! I’ll definitely be ordering again soon. 😊🍬💖“

“Amazing Food & Flavors!

Chandni Chowk in Iselin is a must-visit! Their non-veg sizzlers are flavorful, the chicken Nihari is perfectly spiced, and the fresh naan is unbelievably soft. The kebabs are tender and juicy. A fantastic spot for anyone craving top-notch food!“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "An Exceptional Venue for Community Events!" We had the pleasure of hosting several matchmaking meet-up events at Dhaba Edison, and it has consistently exceeded our expectations. The restaurant's ambiance creates a welcoming and relaxed environment, making it ideal for fostering connections and building meaningful relationships among attendees. A special mention goes to Raj, the owner, whose professionalism and warm hospitality have made our experience truly remarkable. From the very beginning, when we organized our first event at Dhaba Edison, Raj went out of his way to assist us. Despite a lower-than-expected turnout, he not only accommodated us but also refunded our deposit—a gesture that truly speaks to his commitment to his customers. Additionally, every time we’ve held a matchmaking meetup at Dhaba Edison, Raj has always been there to help with the buffet arrangements, even when we didn’t have a confirmed number of attendees. His support and flexibility have made organizing these events much easier. One of the standout features of Dhaba Edison is its delicious and diverse buffet, which offers a wide variety of freshly prepared dishes. The food is always flavorful, well-prepared, and of excellent quality. Whether you're craving authentic desi flavors or looking for a satisfying meal, Dhaba Edison never disappoints. The buffet is also reasonably priced, making it an affordable yet high-quality dining option for both small and large gatherings. Beyond our own events, Raj has built a reputation as one of the most supportive restaurant owners for small businesses in Central New Jersey. Among all desi restaurants in the area, I would personally rank Dhaba Edison as the best—not just for its exceptional food and service but also because of Raj’s generosity and dedication to helping others. We highly recommend Dhaba Edison for anyone looking to host community events, social gatherings, or simply enjoy an outstanding meal at great value. Ismat Shehzad Ismat Shaadi Services“
