“This is hands down the most authentic middle eastern food you can get in New Jersey. The quality of the food is out of this world; feels like a meal you would have at someone’s grandmas home. The prices are more than fair for the quantity and the quality of the food you are served. The menu is diverse and has various options to choose from (good for even the pickets of eaters). The service is also outstanding. The team is very hospitable and dietary restrictions such as allergies very seriously, ensuring you have a comfortable, stress free dining experience. This is hands down the best restaurant I have ever been to in New Jersey and has truly become a staple amongst my friends and I.“
“We’ve taken food out a few times from here but sat for dinner with a group of friends for the first time tonight. The food is always on point! There’s a great menu full of many options. We always come for their shish kebob. Our friends never been here before really enjoyed all the dishes and appetizers as well.The owner Raffy is a doll. “Current Review -Was in mood for Kabobs in this cold weather and stopped at this place late evening. Ordered Lamb Chops, Lamb Shank Pulao and Chicken Kofta Kabobs.Didn’t disappoint me. Amazing taste, flavorful and had authentic reflections of Mediterranean cuisine. Their Lamb items are the best among the list.Their complementary Bread and Salads with different sauces is noteworthy.My recommendation is Lamb Chops and Lamb Shank Pulao. Shank was so well cooked that the meat was falling off from the bone and literally melting in the mouth.It’s an open casual dining place. Plate portion is good, competitive price for excellent taste and food quality. Customer service was good this time and could be because of less traffic.A must visit is recommended if you crave for Mediterranean food. “I tried EFI’s today from just passing by without looking at any reviews/ knowledge about the place i was PLEASANTLY surprised on the food! I got 2 lamb gyros and spanakopita to go. The lamb meat was GOOD but I got some nasty hard pieces. But, after getting rid of the pieces the gyros were great STUFFED with fries and I Loved it! I would 100% go back but i would personally try the chicken instead. The spanakopita was great and enough to share between two!“
“Le Souk felt like I was enjoying a meal in someone's home in Syria. Soft, Middle Eastern guitar melodies played in the background as I enjoyed my food. The restaurant was decorated with a myriad of artistic knickknacks. My server was polite, and they came to check in throughout my time there.I took advantage of the 4 appetizers for $30 deal as I was not super hungry. I ordered their beet salad, falafel waffle, stuffed grape leaves, and stuffed kebeh. I intended on ordering the dandelion greens, but they were not available, which was disappointing. The food I did receive, though, was a nice window into their menu.The stuffed kebeh was my favorite, a nice crispy shell with a nutty flavor, juicy ground beef inside, with just a little pomegranate syrup to add a bit of tangy sweetness.I'd love to come back and try some of their sandwiches or an entree in the future. “Really good! I had the chicken shawarma platter and the chicken was perfectly flavored but it was a bit overcooked and dry. It was right before closing so I won't hold it against them. The rice was really flavorful and fluffy. The salad was delicious. would return again!“

“We were in the area and decided to check out this place bc of all the great reviews and I’m so glad we did. This place is amazing and the food is so so good!! We ordered the hummus, chicken chapli and beef chapli with qabuli palow (traditional rice with carrots and raisins). It’s so favorable and so fresh. They bring out the largest piece of naan bread ever with your order or hummus and food btw which I totally forgot to take a picture of ??♀️ oh and the people who work here are so lovely!“

Only complaint is you don’t have the pick of toppings such as pickled veggies for Ex.This is a welcoming establishment offering great eats for all cultures. There are no politics inside which I love , but they show the faces of innocent children, women and men who have suffered from savage acts.. this is a duty they don’t have to do but they choose to do it knowing the harassment they can face. “Food was hot, delicious, and a great price. You get a lot for what you pay for and you don't see that anywhere anymore. The store is very small. There's one table with 4 seats and 4 seats at the window counter. Most orders are to go anyways so it didn't matter.“
