“I have been ordering from here since I moved to Hawthorne 2 years ago and food was delicious. However, tonight I had to throw my egg foo yung dinner out as it was loaded with sodium. I called and was told I need to tell them next time to put sauce on side. I hope that my next order will be on the house and taste delicioius.😗“

My last order I mistakenly ordered "volcano" wonton instead of the regular. I didn't realize my goof until I got home and read the receipt. I called back and they told me they make me the wonton right away if I would come back to pick it up. When I returned, I was told no charge for the regular wonton. “Our go to Chinese food restaurant. We used to do uber eats, but found that going to pick up is so much less expensive and they are so close to us. Great food and the people there are really nice and trustworthy. Once they made my non-spicy food spicy and told me that next time they would put it in for free. I didn’t believe that they would remember, but didn’t feel like arguing. But next time they remembered! It’s a take out place, not sit and eat. But my family loves to rot food.“

The portion sizes are large and more than enough to have left over the next day. As far as the owners Karma they are very nice people as well as friendly. “The food at this Chinese restaurant is super good. I recently moved to Fairfield and needed to find a good spot for Chinese takeout out. So, I tried joy wok. I ordered sesame chicken combo and the Mongolian beef. They were both super good. I don’t normally like my sesame chicken a little spicy and they made it just right for me.
The customer service is also great. I had accidentally ordered white rice with the Mongolian beef and when I picked up my order they switched it to fried rice right away with no extra charge. Everyone there is super nice. Definitely recommend if you are in the area in search of a good Chinese spot.“
