“When a café’s main problem is that there’s not enough of it, that’s a good sign. This shop was like a shot of espresso — small, condensed, and packing as much flavor, personality, and charm as is possible. I ordered an espresso and a cappuccino. There were about 5 people waiting ahead of me when I ordered, and I managed to get my two beverages within 5 minutes. Truly impressive for two people working behind a tiny counter with one espresso machine on it. The espresso was very light, sweet, and acidic, with notes of cherry. Very good for those who like that sort of thing. It had a rich and deap crema, and came on an adorable saucer matching the espresso cup with a demitasse spoon on the side. The cappuccino was brilliantly frothed, with the rich milk cutting into the acidic espresso — the micro-foam perfectly combined with the milk. If only it had a place to sit down, weird harbor would go down as one of my favorite café’s I’ve been to. Easy 5 stars.“

This little cafe is cute as a button and as expensive as one too, an easy place to just sit with a good cup of coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. The barista is very friendly and it was a joy to talk to her, I even missed her when it was time to leave. Overall good place to go if you need a quick on the go or done in coffee“

Parking: The area is patrolled by Military police and parking security. Their is a 15 minute time limit to be in the parking area. Violation will result in ticket and towing at owners expense“

“I go to the drive thru on Young Street in Halifax at 4.30 am almost every morning. The girl who works the back shift is exceptional! She is always polite and welcoming every time. I look forward to our brief interaction . She is a very positive person and deserves a raise!

“I had the pleasure of travelling from Edmonton AB to visit family in Lakeside. While we were there we stopped in to Eats & Treats Bakery and Cafe and everything was amazing. We grabbed some fresh baked bread, oatmeal cookies, a couple slices of pie and lasagna.The staff were friendly ( ok we are related- lol) the smiles were genuine and the food delicious!! Our family thoroughly enjoyed the creamy oat milk lattes and colourful lemonades and we found ourselves retuning to the Cafe every day of our vacation. We had the opportunity to meet Lara, the owner, and it was immediately clear why this Cafe is so tastefully decorated, why the atmosphere is so enjoyable and the menu so very delectable.
