Soft shell crab was not good. The fried Japanese spring roll was probably frozen and tasted like it was from Costco. Don’t order it.“

“With a few omakases I've had in Japan and the US, Yui is what you expect it to be, a delight!

We got the $125 Kansha course and it was great. Kaz-san was very intentional with everything he did, from his nigiri technique to explaining each course in detail. And how could I forget the rice! They mill brown rice in-house to make white rice to get the perfect texture and fight off the Vegas dryness. The lowkey standout for us (aside from the usual best buttery pieces like otoro and hokkaido uni) was the shima aji, so good that we had to order seconds!

It's a clean, intimate setting that's perfect for a special meal.

If flavor were illegal, Sushi Hiro would be doing hard time.

We just left Sushi Hiro in Henderson and I’m convinced we experienced spiritual enlightenment disguised as dinner. Every single bite hit like it had something to prove. Not one weak link. Not one “meh.” Just straight culinary domination.

The 007 roll? Smooth, dangerous, and licensed to thrill. It showed up, handled business, and left no crumbs.
The lobster roll? Absolutely disrespectful. Buttery. Rich. Criminally addictive. I would sign paperwork committing to it long term.

Service was flawless — attentive without hovering, friendly without forcing it. The kind of staff that makes you feel like you’re the VIP without making it weird.

We didn’t eat dinner.
We attended a seafood masterclass.

If you’re in Henderson and you’re not eating here, I’m not mad at you… just disappointed.

I’d recommend this place to any and everybody. Today my brother and I waited 1 hour and a half not because of the special they were running for their 25th anniversary but because of the quality and experience.“

“What an incredible experience. I simply do not understand the recent negative reviews. My wife and I were walki-ins on Saturday night and were told that the restaurant was completely committed for the evening but the sushi bar had availability. We arrived at 9pm and were seated within ten minutes.

Our visit was absolutely flawless. The service was 10 star, the sushi was some of the best I’ve had outside of Japan and the cocktails were perfect. When we are back in Vegas, we will absolutely be back but this time with a reservation to sit outside ( IYKYK).

The management team was even kind enough to provide a “booster seat” for my wife’s handbag. Absolutely next level!! I would highly recommend Mizumi to anyone looking for an incredible experience, not just an amazing meal.

Their happy hour starts 2.30pm you get 20% off. Great quality food, classy ambiance, meticulous interior, courteous soft spoken empathetic staff. I love that place. I’m glad they opened in my neighborhood. My son and I love sushi. My favorite was Achiza and Kaya sushi but now with Pier 215 they beat them in quality, affordability and ambiance bang in the heart of Southwest Las Vegas. Way healthier option than what I ate in Durango, Casino. Where ambiance was great at George but the beef steak burger that was amazing a club sandwich 2 drinks cost almost $65. Ppl are price conscious. We are residents in SW over 20 years & would like to hang in these places. If we are not asked for tourist prices.“

The sashimi platter and all the carpaccios were the highlights for me—super fresh, flavorful, and better than most AYCE places in Vegas. I’m all about the sashimi, while my hubby is hooked on the deep-fried sushi rolls—so there’s something for everyone to enjoy! At $34.99 all day, the quality of the sushi and sashimi alone made it absolutely worth it. The only downside was that they didn’t have uni or amaebi, but with everything else they offered, we still left satisfied. We ended the meal with an affogato, the perfect sweet and bold finish to an already amazing experience. If you're looking for a solid AYCE sushi spot with great sushi, sashimi, and a variety of options, Sumo Sushi is a must-try!“
