Our server, Alexander, was attentive without being overbearing and was so much fun! Brent, the bartender, made me a birthday martini with 4 olives! It actually was my first martini ever and it was so sweet of him. If you want a wonderful, enjoyable, relaxed meal and love noodles like I do, this is the place to go.”

“I had a custom cake made by Cindy and it came out more beautiful and tasty than I could've hoped for! My sister in law wanted a fondant cake with raspberries. I sent some pictures and explained my cake request via email and Cindy was quick to respond. We talked back and forth about the details and they totally exceeded my expectations for this cake. The fondant is so good that everyone enjoyed the cake, even the kiddos and people who claimed to hate fondant. It was also huge and decorated with roses and hand painted flowers. I'll definitely be returning for any future custom cakes.”

“My husband and I went to celebrate the Marine Corps 250th birthday at the outback. He received a free special lunch that he just raved about and I also ordered the grilled shrimp with a salad and the French onion soup. All of the food was excellent and the entire staff made us both feel respected and appreciated for my husband's service. Our server did an excellent job of pacing our meal so we always had our food but were never rushed. She was always there with the water and at the same time was quite busy taking care of many other customers. At the end of the meal our server offered to box up our cheesecake dessert to take home, perhaps knowing that we would enjoy it more later, and we did! Everyone there just did an amazing job to provide us with great food and a most enjoyable dining experience. We had not been to to a Outback in many years but we will definitely return to the Reno location soon.”

“I previously visited this restaurant at their old location with my daughter and had an amazing experience — the food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. Because of that, I was excited to try their new, larger location for happy hour with a friend. Unfortunately, the service was really disappointing this time. When we arrived, we both stood at the entrance for several minutes while multiple staff members looked at us but didn’t acknowledge us or explain whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Eventually someone directed us to a table. We ordered wine and everything seemed fine at first, but our server quickly became unavailable and never checked back in. When our food was delivered by another employee, it was dropped off without utensils or napkins. Happy hour ended at 5:00, and instead of checking on us before then, our server returned afterwards and told us happy hour was over and brought new menus. After finishing our food, we sat with empty glasses and dirty plates while multiple staff walked by without clearing the table or checking on us. After about 10 minutes of waiting with no service, we ended up walking to the bar to pay our bill because no one ever brought it to the table. This was frustrating, especially for a restaurant that presents itself as a higher-end dining experience. I know they’re capable of better based on my previous visit, so hopefully the service improves.”

The best, of course is the Cheeseburger taco - which I know sounds odd, but until you try it, you have no idea what you're missing. The pastor is a close second, super juicy with just a lil heat, it is perfection. But you won't find a thing on the menu that isn't incredible. I just wish it wasn't 400+ miles from my home, haha.”

“Walked in on a Saturday morning a few minutes after they opened. Very friendly employee at the front told us she would be right with us as she prepared the previous customer's bagel and cream cheese. I'm not sure why they don't have 2 employees up front to handle orders because this lovely gal was stretched handling people's questions, taking orders, and making coffees. Because of this, it took 15 minutes to get our coffees. I watched my breakfast sandwich sit on a rack in the kitchen for the same amount of time. The scrambled eggs were brown, it was cold and extremely greasy but it tasted alright. The table we sat at was dirty enough that each time we picked up our coffee cups, we had to unstick them from the surface of the table.
Scheduling one more employee for the opening shift would've solved a lot of these issues.”

It is regarding the famous Beef Wellington, the plating was beautiful, the wrapped patstry was fantastic along with the sauce and side items that come along with it. the Filet Mignon was very tender but personally the texture of it wasn't for me. I would still definitley recommend to order it if it is your very first time trying a Beef Wellington to cross it off your list. All in all a very good experience.”

“If you’re at Peppermill in Reno, whether you’re visiting or a local this restaurant is absolutely worth checking out for a dinner date or even a business dinner.

First off, the space is beautiful. The decor is unique and really sets the mood for a nice evening out. The staff was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the menu, which I always appreciate.

Quick heads up though it’s not the easiest place to find from the casino floor because the signage isn’t great. Here’s the trick: just to the left of the check-in area there’s an escalator. Go up, turn right, walk to the end, and you’ve arrived. You’re welcome 😉

Now, onto the food. They have a large seafood selection, which limited what I could personally try, but the staff was incredibly helpful navigating my food allergy. Huge plus there.

The tableside bread service was fantastic fresh and warm, and the sourdough was especially amazing. They also brought out a mango sorbet with champagne as a palate cleanser, which was such a classy, refreshing touch.

I ordered the French onion soup and the handmade fries. The soup was well prepared, and instead of the traditional bread on top, they used puff pastry a fun twist, though it was a little crumbly. The house-made fries were excellent. My only wish? A spicy mustard option to dip them in.

Around the table we had sea bass, steaks, Caesar salad, filet mignon, and lobster bisque and I checked in with everyone. Not a single complaint. Everything got rave reviews.

And don’t skip dessert. We tried them all, and honestly, even if you came just for dessert and drinks, you wouldn’t be disappointed.”

After living in both Italy and Spain throughout college, coffee back home wasn’t quite cutting it. But HCC never misses! Their sugar and spice latte is the BEST! The owners are so friendly and the baristas are excited to see us come in each weekend. I bring all my friends here and they have loved it too. There’s plenty of seating, good music and it’s decorated nicely. Really the best way to sum it up is that the owners know what small business in Reno is all about, no matter how big this city is getting. Genuine, hard working, kind and personable owners. Easy location in south Reno off the freeway it’s a short drive off Veterans, coming from Sparks and Northwest Reno. First stop as you get into town from Carson. Staff is so sweet and accommodating and goes above and beyond every time. Parking is easy and lots of seating inside and out.”

In many respects, it started from the ground level, but your manager started out at the beginning of the night. I’m impressed and give you the platinum metal. The hand off with dinner to Daisy is to remembered. Look out for Maddie the bartender, she will give you the best experience and make your entire day! Also, Chau will make you feel welcome and like you’ve been coming here for years.

The one establishment that beat you out is Heart & Soul Country kitchen in Arnold, California. You should consult them on taking yourself to the next level.

The seasoning on the fries is very tasty, both sandwiches were cooked to perfection, seasoned with love and served on the best bread possible. The costumer service was phenomenal, such a sweet duo in the kitchen. We will be back here all the time.”

“Great ice cream. I like going for the unusual and classic flavors. I went in to get pints of the Poached Pear Sorbet, Cocoa en Fuego, and the Tin Roof Sundae. Poached Pear was homestyle, tasting of pear, red wine, and mulling spice, and is perfect for the holidays. Cocoa en Fuego has some excellent fire to it from the cayenne mixed into smooth creamy Mexican chocolate. Tin Roof Sundae is the classic, with lots of peanuts. Chris also gave me samples of Cinnamon Whisky, which is excellent and tastes strongly of the cinnamon; Chocolate Strawberry, which had rich dark chocolate and strawberries, and will likely be my next full-pint purchase; Cookie Dough, which is a good spin on the classic; and Caramel Turtle Brown, which I liked as much as the Tin Roof Sundae if not more, so will be a future purchase.”

“I'm not sure why some of the reviews are so poor here, whether you were raised outside of the country and the sugar doesn't taste the same, the order wasn't made at the time of arrival or the way you were treated wasn't to your taste. During my visit, I was treated very kindly. I walked in close to closing time, I was waiting behind a family and the employee immediately approached me in such a nice manner and after she noticed that this was my first visit she walked me through the entire process of how to order based on my method of payment.

Definitely recommend a visit here at least once it's a little bit pricey, but it's worth the taste. They seem to get busy in waves 😉, so you may get lucky and get there during their downtime.

Parking is available, but it is a shared parking space between the other nearby shops and restaurants so you may get lucky with a 10-min parking 🅿️ spot, or may need to park a little down in the other spots.”

“Mainly came here to say, Lindsay is an absolute rockstar. First beautiful day worthy of a patio beer, and my husband and I wanted some grub. Drinks came out quick, followed with some delicious food. I got a pizza and my husband got a chicken club sandwich. We had just missed the rush, and she took such great care of us. We will definitely be back, even if it’s just to have a beer and see Lindsay again.”

“We ordered the curry pot and the Taiwanese pot, and both were good. A little lacking in meat and a bit too much on the other filler stuff that started to taste the same, but not at all bad for the price. It was also a really great addition to the cuisines in Reno, so just happy we have this here. It was also nice having the ongoing flames under the pots that kept our food and soup hot all throughout. The place was airy, clean, and modern, and the service was fast and efficient.”

“im not the one to usually leave reviews but ive been coming to this dutch bros ever since they opened, the customer service is spot on, and even during rushes they handle it smooth and fast! they make my drink spot on and perfect, just how i love it! and alot of them alrdy know my name when seeing me, which is one of the highlights of my day! dutch bros is my #1 coffee/energy place to go to and will grab some every chance i get❤️”

“We went a few days ago and I was pleasantly surprised with how good and natural the yogurt tasted! It was not overly sweet and apparently all natural ingredients. Fresh fruit toppings and they have weekly switch around with the flavors. Family owned and they were all so sweet and kind. Portion size is really big for the price you pay! Definitely recommend trying them out!

Also don’t let the word “honey” intimidate you. I initially assumed the fro yo might have honey in it (not a fan) but it was actually just in reference to the sizing of the cups you can choose from!”
