“My wife and I have loved the Basil for years, for it’s delicious food, great service, and relaxing ambiance. I personally love the Basil because the food is always fresh, nutritious and great tasting. Recently we chose them to provide catering for a 35-person birthday celebration at our home. We were extremely impressed by the time and attention that Chai gave to the planning of our event. The result was a beautiful set-up of amazing food and appetizers. Our guests totally loved it! Whether it’s for a simple lunch, a romantic or family dinner, or all-out catering, we can’t recommend The Basil enough!“

“I only been there twice with my hubby and family. I had several of there dishes and they were all amazing. My favorite appetizer is the octopus balls. Love the chicken pho soup and the teriyaki bento box was great too. Very inviting Cozy atmosphere. Services and staff are great too. We were fortunate to have Jacob both times as our server and he was amazing. 10 out of 10 restaurant.“

Started with a Caesar salad. Pretty basic but good.
Ordered the Truffle Shuffle pie Hannah’s way. Super good pizza. Really enjoyed the flavors. Crust was very good too. Highly recommend.
For dessert we got the s’more’s pizza. Super fun nice crispness given the wood fired oven. Would have maybe liked a chocolate drizzle on top or more chocolate inside. Just a little more moisture would have been my add on.“

“Because we were up charged for everything. I ordered a burger that came without mayo or mustard and when I asked for mustard it was an additional .50 my husband asked for blue cheese instead of ranch it was also an additional .50 we ordered a child sized apple juice which was over $5 but the worst part was the service. Our waitress was the worst. She never asked if we needed anything so many things. I took one bite of my burger and it was so nasty. The other guests were nicer than she was. At $175 for our meal our service should have been better. We will certainly pick another restaurant for our next visit to Carson City.“

“I love your burgers! I go to the South Reno location every week and get a build-your-own bison double patty. I do have some issues with your ordering website, however. For some reason, I can't order online for the South Reno location. Also even though your website has everything on the menu there is no option for ordering a double patty. I go into the restaurant and order my food to go and will continue to do so but it would be nice and convenient if these issues could be fixed on your ordering website. Thank you for a wonderful burger!“

The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and always works hard to make sure you have a great experience. The atmosphere is fun, and there are so many great flavors to choose from. “My first time here. Classic Family Mexican Restaurant. Large contemporary dining room. Small outdoor patio on the side. Good size bar area.

I was there late so can't comment on service when busy. Got Arroz Con Pollo ($14), came out in about 10 minutes piping hot with lots of melted cheese and generous amount of chicken albeit just a tad on the dry side. Was disappointed no acocado slices with my entree. Needed 'Bam!' by adding some salsa.

Service was friendly and more importantly prices were very reasonable with most dishes under $20 or very close.

This visit was a strong 4. I wouldn't be surprised if some dishes help push it closer to 5 as long as service level is good when it's busy. Looking forward to returning to try other dishes.“

“This is a good dedicated gluten free bakery. It is the only one Reno offers. They make excellent sandwiches using their gluten free bread. They have a great selection of baked treats. My favorites are their donuts. I wish I liked their cupcakes more, but their frosting tastes like shortening rather than butter, and the crumb of the cupcake tends to run dry.“
