“This local restaurant & bar was great! Loved the whole experience! When traveling we always try local eateries, & this one was top notch. The background music wasn’t too loud & the staff was very friendly. The food was worth it!!!

Vegetarian options: I am not, but they had dish options clearly labeled.

Parking: There is few parking spots in front, but there is more around back. Coming from out of town it was a little confusing at first, but we caught on quick.“

“I lived in Saratoga in 1983. The Tin & Lint was one of our favorite watering holes! If memory serves me correctly, Tuesday nights were nickel beer night! We called it, Sticky Floor Night! We'd get all fugged up and then go chase the Skiddy Kitties!! Good times, great memories!“

“Visiting Saratoga has always been a bucket list item for us. We were traveling from California. I would highly recommend reserving a table in the Clubhouse . The track is amazing and historic. The food and beverage are very good. You have the ability to wander all over the track and return to your table. There are also a Woodford Reserve Bar in the Clubhouse where you can get your favorite Bourbon Drink or your waitress will bring it to your table. We started with a bottle of Chandon Champagne and then moved to Woodford Old Fashions. The Burrata on toast with tomato jam was a perfect compliment to the champagne. They had several lobster dishes on the menu and Lynn asked if they did a lobster roll. Our waitress said it wasn't on the menu but they could make it for her. They did and it was amazing. Everyone at the track was so friendly and helpful you felt like family. Make plans to go to Saratoga next summer. Go to morning workout, take the backstretch tour, and the historic tour of the track, you will be so glad you made the trip. "You can thank me now, or you can thank me later."“

“This is an absolute gem of a spot in Saratoga. The jazz is amazing and also free. I believe this is $2 cover some nights. The drink menu is off the charts crazy in a good way. They can get a little pricey, however they have great beers for $7 a pint so, you can't complain there. The only small complaint I have is just how loud it can get while the jazz is going on, so you kind of got a wheel your way to the front if you want to watch them play and hear them without a bunch of people yelling in your ear. So yeah older crowd but, they still like to have fun, I just turned 40, so I nearly fit in now but I've been going there for 10 years or so and most were double my age but 100% awesome people. The staff is awesome and does not leave you waiting when you're trying to get a drink. And did I mention the jazz? Oh yeah the jazz is great.“

Birthdays, anniversaries, even before holiday gatherings are held at Pennell's.
