“Been coming here for decades. If you are Korean and a NewYorker there is a 90% chance you know of this place. Classic Korean black noodle spot that doesn’t disappoint! They make less than 12 dishes here and they do it well! Not much more to say. Big space, lots of seats and chill vibes. Totally biased but maybe the single most know korean restaurant in nyc? Who knows but Enjoy!“

“I ordered the wings with soy garlic and Korean bbq sauce. Both were delicious and very good. The garlic Parmesan fries actually has powdered sugar on top. I called to make sure it wasn’t someone in the kitchen messing up the seasoning. Turned out sugar is added on the fries so it’s salty and sweet. It’s not what I was expecting so not really my thing. I would order the plain French fries next time. The fries were very crunchy, just wished it wasn’t sweet.“

“Was in a job interview and early enough that I could grab lunch here. I just got back from Nepal & was craving momos.

Place is really spacious and at 2PM was empty - just one other table. Service was friendly - but the kitchen took longer than expected. Still - hands down - the best momo I’ve had in a very long time.

“I travelled 40 miles deep into Flushing Queens for the best Korean Fried Chicken! Comes with Spicy or Soy Garlic, Juicy Drumsticks or wings and with some tangy sour pickled radish or sweet creamy kimchi cole slaw. You are missing out if you have not tried this!!! You want some?! Usually I would get this when I worked the Financial District or Midtown Manhattan but this was the closest to home and they did not let me down!! “Came with the family to support local businesses and wanted to try out Kai Burgers. They were very tasty using fresh meat patties. Kids approved 100%. “Came here for lunch because I’ve been craving some hotpot. I’m so glad I did. They have a wide selection of meats, seafood and veggies. I had the pork neck soup base which was rich and delicious. My favorite cut of meat so fat is the snowflake beef. It’s fatty, buttery and tender. The kimchi is amazing as well. Customer service is great. They leave you alone while still being attentive. And just in case they aren’t around, there’s a call bell. The seating is very private. They have booths that can close for even more privacy. The booths seat 6. Definitely recommend!“

“I was here yesterday for my first time. Our server was EIMY. She was great, very helpful and attentive. on the table, we have some fried wings, egg rolls, California rolls, alligator Rolls ,general, chicken, sesame chicken, and some kung pow chicken Also, I had special fried rice. The food was great, wonderful portion Something things 2 people can share I literally tried everything that I just mentioned.
Btw I ordered a margarita and it was very good!

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“We love Uyghur food especially Lamb Polo. The polo here is the best I had in NYC. We also ordered the lamb soup which is good but a bit too salty, however the lamb is very tender and tasty. The lamb kawaps were very good, juicy and tasty, but the lamp chop was tough and tasteless which I don’t understand. Shouldn’t they be marinated the same way? We also ordered thin-skin steamed mantas, the onion and meat one is very good, but the squash meat one was lack of flavor. Next time I’ll stick with the onion meat ones. Overall, the food is very good, worth a trip.“

I would say seeing sausage in the cauliflower dry pot is unusual, but the flavor is not bad. Oddly enough, this place has THE BEST rice texture I’ve had at any Chinese takeout place.“

“The food is here is by far one of the more reliable places to get Asian Cuisine. The food is not overly fried or heavily seasoned. We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. Normally I have something criticizing to say but I genuinely appreciate this place for a cheat night. You won’t feel guilty with the fun of take out. The place is small and there isn’t anywhere to eat if you wanted. The customer service is good, however you will need to wait in your car because there isn’t much room to wait inside and no where to sit. Give it a try. Photo is my wife pounding down one of their egg rolls because she can’t wait till we get home (Not oily at all). As healthy as Chinese food can probably get in NYC.“
