“Neptune Diner is the best. I usually go every Sunday to have a cheese burger. Specifically I usually get the Neptune Burger with the bacon and grilled onions. Their menu is extensive and there’s something for everyone. Our server Nico is very friendly and fast. The food comes out just minutes after we order, I love it. I would definitely recommend Neptune to anyone looking for a quick and delicious bite to eat!“

“Hit the spot. I had the “Mexican” Omelette with added ham. Along with what looks to be actual home fries made from actual non processed potatoes.. not the chopped up store bought kind.. Either I was exhausted from walking all day and it being 2 AM, or this food was just that good! Never the less, I will definitely be eating there again!“

“Classic NYC Greek owned diner here. I get tested like royalty, their food is on point, they have great specials and the customers constantly rotate, so a wait isn't but so long. This is my neighborhood diner, so I'll always return. I have friends who dine here alone on random days of the week because it's a peaceful environment.

“I came here regularly when the original owner George was in charge. Charming guy who stopped what he was doing to yell Hello to everyone who walked in. The food was regular diner food that he elevated. Huge portions and decent price. He retired or left and people who worked for him took over. I rarely go now. Food is decent but prices went up and portions are smaller. The servers are good and personable. Place seems to always be busy since there are several schools and offices in the area. Still decent but you don't get as much value for your money and no charm and personality from George.“

“It’s such a yummy spot on Metropolitan Avenue in Middle Village!

The service is always good. The staff are always friendly. I have never had a bad meal here - after many many times at the Metropolitan Diner.

The only negatives are the difficulty parking (welcome to Middle Village) and the sometimes long wait (but, that’s what you get when the food is superior)!“

Even eating it today, it brings back memories of when my mom would take me and my siblings to eat there for dinner. At the time, they would close much later than they do now. Thankfully, I'm already walking home by 2 pm, and since I live close by, the delivery was nice and fast. The food is always delicious, generously well priced, and the customer service is always really nice. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger that came with fries, along with an extra side of onion rings. That came up to $20 on the dot, and with the portions they serve, I was more than happy with that price. I have, and I will continue to go to this amazing restaurant. I highly recommend it if you're in the area.“

“A cozy family run cafe with welcoming and friendly staff, their food is AMAZING and cooked with so much love! You CANNOT find any other spot that can beat their prices, that’s forsure!! Their breakfast is delicious - their French toast is a must have btw- and their burgers are great as well as the wraps, food is always served hot and quickly. As for delivery, they always exceed expectations because the food is always earlier than the suggested time and the drivers are very kind and friendly! Definitely recommend visiting, you won’t regret it!! They also have the best servers - Cleo and Aly are the absolute BEST ?“

I ordered the French toast with eggs, and the meal was excellent. The prices were very reasonable, and the quality of the food exceeded expectations. “Ilona Lynch Stop 20 Diner is the absolute Best diner! They have the best, fattest anf tastiest burgers, which we had last night. I have been getting great meals from there for years, but last night was the first time I have ordered a burger from there, along with 2 good friends, and the burgers blew us away, along with the fries, being cooked to perfection. We have never had such thick burgers before at any diner ever, and they were so tasty and cooked to perfection. The onion rings were also excellent. “Fast Service and seating even when the parking lot is full..(the sit and wait method will grab you a space fastest) the staff is always friendly. The Crab Cake Benedict is one of the best we've ever had and it's a hard dish to get right to the point it's the only place we have it now...the Crab is real Crab and a plentiful portion, the Apple French Toast is another favorite. We've eaten here many times and was always pleased with the portions and quality..They have good deserts too and also serve liquor (drinks). The Restaurant is Newer / Modern and the bathrooms are always clean. Definitely a place you'd enjoy eating at!“

“I love all their food here. Ive been eating here for 14 years and not once had i had a complaint. I love my home fries burnt cause it makes it crispy. Checking below on the comment and saw someone wrote something bad about the cook. You must not know nothing about food. I on the other hand gurantee Oasis food is real good. I love the french toast, the Cheeseburger with Crispy onion rings and they steak sandwich wich sautéed onions is bomb. They also serve great mangu for all my latinos that like it. They also have great chicken noodle soup that cant be bought anywhere else. If you are ever around tiffany and east bay make sure to stop at Oasis Coffee Shop. Just down the block is a nice park where you can take your food and watch the manhattan skyline from across the water. Oasis also delivers if you need food at the park. Free delivery! Also try their home made lemonade!!! Idk what else to shout out cause all they food is good. They also make chicken tacos and amazing qusadillas. Authentic mexican cusine and the right touch to make tatse ? thank you Oasis for catering to all of us at the point.“

The briskett and Clam Chowder was their special and we ordered it.
It can with broccoli and mashed potatoes.

I spent 1/3 of what I would have spent at Red lobster. The food was delicious and the service was top notch.“

“We've been passing this place for over 20 years on our trip to New York and never had a chance to stop by... WE MISSED A LOT! We specifically decided on dining at the Omega Diner tonight and the good thing we did! We met there at 7 pm for a family dinner with our son who moved to New York. Kind of a half way between or PA home and his place in NY. The place wasn't very busy. We were sitted right away. The waiter was with us in less than a minute, and in another few minutes we were served our water, seltzer and hot tea. The waiter took our order, advising on what is good and what he would recommend. Great guy! Very friendly, very patient, very customer oriented. My wife got her cream of turkey soup in another few minutes. At that point I added the matzoh ball soup for myself. It was served right away. It looked so good that my son took it from me! I ordered another portion of it and asked to get me an additional bowl to split it. Well, in a few minutes it was served with extra bowl full of additiina steaming broth. This soup tasted very-very good. And the size of that matzoh ball!!! It was of the size of a baseball ⚾️ !!! Yes, and my wife's cream of turkey soup - delicious!!! We did not even want to eat anything else after that but... we already ordered our main meals... Well, everything was served fast and tasted great. My Omega club sandwich (recommended by the waiter) - delicious, Omega appetizers - perfect, deluxe cheeseburger - very nice, baked mix seafood for my wife - tasty and nicely presented, looking very appealing. Obviously, at least half of all this went home with us... We needed room for the sweets. Cappuccino, chocolate chip cookie, chocolate cheesecake - all was great, presentable and delicious! And all this for under $90 (plus tip of course) for the party of four! In today's world this is a pretty good deal! Especially, with such a great service, clean and nicely designed and maintained place and nice portions sizes! We will definitely come back to this place again. They have so many interesting and appealing items on their menu that we want to try...“

“My first time trying a Halal diner. As an American Muslim, it's exciting to finally select anything from the fully Halal menu. I came first thing in the morning and was warmly greeted! I had the Reuben sandwich but swapped cornbeef for pastrami, my brother had eggs and bacon. Both were good! For a side I'd recommend the home potatoes over the fries. You cannot order the middle Eastern menu i.e, shawarmas, until 2pm but I was in the mood for American food anyways. I'd come back here for sure, I love how it's within walking distance of the Hillside Islamic Center!“

But the thing that will bring us back here is the kindness and community-feel.
George, our server, was spectacular, offering suggestions, managing refills, and making us feel cared for.

And Rosa, the owner, was there to smile and ask us about ourselves. She made this little diner feel like a place we could come to be a part of her family. She told us a story of a nice family who wanted to stay longer to watch a World Cup game, even with a toddler, and she loved that the felt comfortable enough to stay at her place.

We got the Western Omelette and the Chicken Sandwich, and both were cooked to perfection with tasty home potatoes and crisp fresh French fries. We’d get both again. Lots of food.

Compared to other classic NYC diners, this one probably had the lowest prices I’ve seen in a long time. For the cost, the portions and flavor are great. We really enjoy this restaurant and so does our little one, this has become our go to diner. My daughter gets so excited every time we go, she starts kicking her feet and says hi and bye to the workers along with the other patrons. I normally order the same meal for myself and my daughter and it comes out the same every time! Delish!
