The chicken and broccoli came with plenty of broccoli (which we appreciated), and the roast pork had great flavor without being fatty. The dumplings were nicely pan-fried, the spring rolls were crisp, and everything traveled well for takeout. Generous portions, easy pickup, and solid value. We’ll definitely order again.“

The lunch special prices are very affordable and large portions. I always also order the fried chicken and Singapore noodles every time with my lunch special. I save it for the next for breakfast. Lol.

The front desk lady Vivian at the Woodbury Heights Nursing told me about the place and I have been ordering ever since.

Last Saturday I ordered my regular Lunch special Pork ribs w/ pork fired rice. Paid extra $1.50 for eggs and veggies in my fries rice this also comes with egg roll. I also always order fried chicken wings and Singapore noodles.

I placed an order at 11:47am then right before lunch special was over 2:56pm I placed the same order again.

It was and every time has been that delicious. Crispy fried chicken. Meaty, plump and juicy pork ribs. Flavorful pork fried rice with actual lots of pork in it. Singapore noodles with loads of chicken, pork and shrimp.

“This restaurant is a local GEM! Never disappointed with anything we have ordered in over 6 years. The menu has something for everyone, whether you are looking for a traditional Chinese meal, an American style Chinese meal or Japanese items. We have tried them all, but LOVE creating our own Chinese/Japanese tapas style meal followed by sharing a single entree. Standouts are the wonton soup, rice paper shrimp roll, Kani salad, sushi and many inventive, delicious dumplings (dim sum).“

“I actually found this spot in a pretty random but reliable way — I was watching Louis from Robke’s in Northport and he was sharing some of his favorite local restaurants. This Chinese place happened to be the closest one to my house from his list, so I figured it was worth trying.

I’m born and raised in East Northport, so I’ve tried pretty much every Chinese spot in the surrounding areas trying to find a go-to… and this one is easily my favorite now.

First off, the prices are shockingly fair. I checked the menu before going and that alone made me want to try it — it’s probably the most reasonably priced Chinese food I’ve seen around here. And it actually lives up to it. You can get a lunch special for under $8, or something like a quart of chicken and broccoli for around $12 and change, which is just rare to find now.

But the biggest thing is the quality. The chicken is actually good quality — not rubbery, not overly breaded, and not drowning in sauce. Everything tastes fresh, not soggy. The fried rice is genuinely some of the best I’ve had.

Also, every time I go, I order in person and the food is ready so quickly, which I love. And the staff are always really kind and welcoming — it just makes the whole experience better.

Overall, this place completely surprised me and has easily become my go-to for Chinese food.“

“DunHuang a city in Northwest China once a key stop on the ancient silk road. Dun Huang serves noodle dishes that are famous in Northwest China. This Dun Huang is run by a wonderful family. The food is always consistently delicious. Try the N1 Lanzhou special noodle with cilantro and chili oil for a little kick. N2 is a braised beef noodle dish with baby bakchoy. Two of our families favorites. We also enjoy the Chinese hamburgers or rou mo jia. Great starter for the kids. The Lamb skewers are tasty with the chili seasoning as well. “I discovered this Chinese restaurant one day when I was in Port chester doing some shopping and going to the movies. I've been here a number of times now. It's along Westchester Avenue where there is a selection of various cuisines.The food is delicious and it's not greasy. I love the rice, its bright yellow and full of flavor. The chicken used in the sesame and general tso are fried just right and not too hard. I personally don't eat Chinese all the time and when I do I usually stand outdoors while my food cooks because you can smell the heavy grease inside and down the street. But at Panda I'm able to stand inside to wait for my food because it doesn't smell. This is a cash only place so make sure you have plenty. The man behind the counter is nice and he speaks Spanish which is nice for the customers that visit. Its not a place really to stay long and eat because there's 4 tables. I take my food to go. They also do not deliver.

“At first it might feel like a generic take out spot, and to be fair it is, however as I waited for my order and went ahead and ordered more, I noticed something very strange. I was patient, polite but also direct with what I wanted and communicated it well. At the end, I left with a smile on my face because they reciprocated all of the things I mentioned and then some by making sure I got enough sauces and thanked me three times. It is the little things that makes you return to a business and I sure will. They have $10 card minimum but take cash. My total was $16 for a double sautéed pork and fried rice combo the side and something similar but with shrimp with lobster sauce. I was happy to leave them the $20 and was on my way to enjoy the food. Overall it was a great experience so I think anyone patient enough should give this place a try.

Parking: You can park on the lot that the store stands on or park along the street that has ample parking for almost 6 cars.

Kid-friendliness: Enough seating for people to sit and eat, wait for their food for takeout, or come and go so there is no problem to bring your kids along.“
