“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Noodumpling in Hicksville is an absolute gem! I stopped in recently and was blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. The dumplings are some of the best I’ve had—juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care.

“So I'm usually skeptical of mall fast food places, but was at the mall and got a craving for Chinese so I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice (it did taste like both might have been frozen before hand) still very good though . I was really impressed by the serving size, the taste/quality and the price. The server was very friendly and it cost just under $10. It was in the evening so it wasn't busy, but I'd definitely go there again for sure.“

“We ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, pan-fried pork dumplings, chicken and broccoli, and roast pork with broccoli — and were pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. The chicken and broccoli came with plenty of broccoli (which we appreciated), and the roast pork had great flavor without being fatty. The dumplings were nicely pan-fried, the spring rolls were crisp, and everything traveled well for takeout. Generous portions, easy pickup, and solid value. We’ll definitely order again.“

“One of the remaining old school sit down Chinese restaurants with white table cloth. Prices are fair, food is fresh, service is great. If you want reliable Chinese food, Pearl East is your place to eat. The seafood soup is delicious, the paper shrimp is homemade, the soft filo around the shrimp is fried to perfection everytime. We always go for the Lobster with ginger and scallion, I highly recommend it. Fresh lobster! I am getting hungry just writing this review.“

“I discovered this Chinese restaurant one day when I was in Port chester doing some shopping and going to the movies. I've been here a number of times now. It's along Westchester Avenue where there is a selection of various cuisines.The food is delicious and it's not greasy. I love the rice, its bright yellow and full of flavor. The chicken used in the sesame and general tso are fried just right and not too hard. I personally don't eat Chinese all the time and when I do I usually stand outdoors while my food cooks because you can smell the heavy grease inside and down the street. But at Panda I'm able to stand inside to wait for my food because it doesn't smell. This is a cash only place so make sure you have plenty. The man behind the counter is nice and he speaks Spanish which is nice for the customers that visit. Its not a place really to stay long and eat because there's 4 tables. I take my food to go. They also do not deliver.

“DunHuang a city in Northwest China once a key stop on the ancient silk road. Dun Huang serves noodle dishes that are famous in Northwest China. This Dun Huang is run by a wonderful family. The food is always consistently delicious. Try the N1 Lanzhou special noodle with cilantro and chili oil for a little kick. N2 is a braised beef noodle dish with baby bakchoy. Two of our families favorites. We also enjoy the Chinese hamburgers or rou mo jia. Great starter for the kids. The Lamb skewers are tasty with the chili seasoning as well. Overall a nice find in Syosset.“

“At first it might feel like a generic take out spot, and to be fair it is, however as I waited for my order and went ahead and ordered more, I noticed something very strange. I was patient, polite but also direct with what I wanted and communicated it well. At the end, I left with a smile on my face because they reciprocated all of the things I mentioned and then some by making sure I got enough sauces and thanked me three times. It is the little things that makes you return to a business and I sure will. They have $10 card minimum but take cash. My total was $16 for a double sautéed pork and fried rice combo the side and something similar but with shrimp with lobster sauce. I was happy to leave them the $20 and was on my way to enjoy the food. Overall it was a great experience so I think anyone patient enough should give this place a try.

Parking: You can park on the lot that the store stands on or park along the street that has ample parking for almost 6 cars.

Kid-friendliness: Enough seating for people to sit and eat, wait for their food for takeout, or come and go so there is no problem to bring your kids along.“

If there is any Setback, it's the Limited Parking as there are only Nine Parking Spaces for Seven Businesses! However, there is Ample Street Parking! There is Limited Seating as the Restaurant is not very big! However, the Very Tasty and Affordably Priced Food more than makes up for these Minor Setbacks!“

We are a family with two people with Celiac so we are very careful and this place felt safe.

This is the only real Gluten Free Chinese food in Nassau county. More people should eat here which might allow them to update the dining room. Me and my family will be back for regular dinners for sure.“

“This is our go to family place for great Chinese when some in your party prefer Japanese. Both are done well, but I really love their Chinese menu. It's huge. Their soups - wonton and egg drop don't taste like the typical take-out. Lighter and more flavorful. They have great noodle bowls, like noodle soup with wontons, which I usually have to go to Flushing or Chinatown to find decent noodle soups. For appetizers - Their scallion pancakes are light and crispy. Our main courses - Beef with Broccolli - flavorful while not overwhelmed by too much sauce, and savory more than sweet. Their scallops with vegetable sauce was light and satisfying. Their sushi bento box was fresh and plentiful. Oh and defintely order a Japanese beer, like Asahi, or a Mai Tai, if you've had a stressful day!“
