“I truly love coming here, it’s like being transported into a cozy realm through Lynchian red curtains. The vintage aesthetic honoring the space’s history, the plating, the ambiance, the playlist, the exceptional and welcoming service - all of it makes me feel at home (away from home).

The food is truly sublime and without any pretentiousness - yet with creative attention to detail and the perfect sized portions - just truly delicious. I recommend grabbing a few dishes for the table and sharing to have the full experience of the menu, which also makes it even more familial feeling. I tend to try the specials and lean toward the seafood delicacies.

Don’t forget to save room for the one-of-a-kind desserts and treat yourself to a cocktail, you deserve it - duh! 💖“

My beautiful grand daughter took a shot of whiskey then rode a bus LOL anyhoo great time in Brooklyn for all it was also Halloween and this fun loving grandma dressed as a cat. Then I chased my husband Roger around for some fun LOL I recommend coming here during the day esp sundays very nice reminds me of Ireland and I have ancestors there“

“The food was impeccable. The shish barak stood out immediately — brought fully to life by Huda’s deft touch of spice. Among the appetizers, the bandora showcased heirloom tomatoes at their absolute freshest, while the rakkat achieved a rare and graceful balance between sweet and savory. The kibbeh naya is a must-try for anyone who appreciates raw meat.

“Came here on a date night with the wife who is Uruguayan. The provolone was a fantastic starter, reminded me of the one I had during my last visit to Uruguay. In my wife’s 2+ decades in the states I’ve never heard her rant and rave over a chivito the way she did theirs. She said and I quote “this is the best chivito she’s had since being in the USA,” so that should tell you something. I had the Uruguayan Ribeye and I left just the cutting board it came on, nothing was safe. I was hesitant about the Duck fat potatoes because it’s not something I haven’t tried, but they were perfect. The ribeye was to die for, I wanted more. Dessert was just as good too. My wife loved the flan, and I’ll take her word because all flan is bad to me. The Alfajor was so damn good. It was different than the traditional one I’m used to eating, but fantastic nonetheless. We will definitely be returning, and telling everyone we know to travel to Brooklyn to give this place a try.“

“1. The bar is gorgeous. I asked for a white negroni sans suze and madame bartender made it perfectly. Exquisite.

2. I’ve never been a part of the french fries debate until coming here. Best french fries I’ve had hands downs. Had with the garlic aioli and oysters. Oui Oui.

3. The playlist in here is another level. Perfect volume, great for conversation but also great for listening. Explores all genres but with an excellent through line. Thoroughly enjoyed and would come back for the vibes alone.

4. The design and flow of this space is very well thought out. Highly recommend popping into Milly’s and making it a regular spot on your list. 10/10 recommend.“

“The food is amazing! We had the mussels, Brussels sprouts, artichoke hearts, chicken, shepherd’s pie, fish sandwich, and burger. The drinks were wonderful and the ambiance was so much fun. Really had a laugh at the bathroom with all the googly eyes.“

“Sake Bar Asoko is the consummate bar to enjoy sake—the young proprietor from Kanazawa, Shintaro, is a sake aficionado. He kindly took my spouse and me under his wing. Although we were light-years older than anyone else at Asoko, Shintaro took the time to listen to what we enjoyed and wanted to taste. Our travels to Japan consumed our conversation, and I filled his head with my love of sake and Japanese culture. He showed us respect despite my ramblings.

The sake offerings and the food were delicious, and the space was comfortable. We had a blast, and Sake Bar Asoko is a highlight of our trip to NYC. Thank you so much, Shintaro. You honor your parents with your empathy and generosity.“

“this is a very cute karaoke bar with good food options and lots of drink options. The service was great. I really enjoyed my time here. I also love the private room. They aren’t too expensive as well as the food prices. I recommend coming for a happy hour as they are really cheap as well would come again.“

“Trove is a neighborhood gem, perfect for a casual lunch or dinner but also amazing for a private party. In July I booked Trove for a daytime weekend private event, a surprise brunch celebrating my dad’s 70th birthday. He had a ton of family coming in from Ireland so we wanted the event to feel special and the food to be excellent. We also wanted to have flexibility to mix and mingle and enjoy each other’s company. Trove absolutely delivered. The food and drinks were delicious, which was not surprising given my previous visits there. The party guests were raving about it as they ate—salad, yogurt, French toast, the pizza of course, etc!

However the real star is the owner, Kaylan. She coordinated the party details with me and manned the bar for the entire party. She was so helpful, anticipating our needs before we did and pitching in with all requests (finding a playlist my dad requested, lowering the music for the “surprise” part of the party, taking a group photo, clearing tables as folks were eating, refilling drinks and keeping the self-serve drink station staffed). She was so lovely that, again, my family was raving about the service even in the midst of the party. My 10 month old was also there and as always Trove is a great kid-friendly spot during the day. I’m a lifelong loyal customer now and can’t wait to be back for my next brunch or dinner!“

“I don't see anything else on age, but, it seems like you can get in on weekdays if you are 18+ if you are there to see a show as long as you're not at the bar. It would also help if there is someone 21+ accompanying you. But on weekends, a bouncer is there, so its definitely 21+ on weekends.“

“Came here to meet up with friends on a Thursday night (9/29). I had a blast with the staff behind the bar, the staff walking around clearing the tables and person behind the desk after you show the door person your ID. I enjoyed my drinks, green daiquiri shots for the table and not to mention the DJ!!!!!! The DJ did not miss a beat LITERALLY. My eight girlfriends and I were dancing unapologetically and barely sat in our seats. They had complimentary water set up near the food truck order window. Pizza was a great fit with the drinks. 10/10 for sure, loved the random dance battles and participation by the staff. Since we had a large party size, the staff helped arrange/combine tables so we could be comfortable and sit with one another. In my best Terminator impression I'LL BE BACK lol Love this place, what a gem in Brooklyn. Bonus : Nev from Catfish was there having a blast as well!“

“Great, fun space! Has a shuffleboard inside. Food was good: the pickled onions are yummy but the fries are mid.

Hope to be back again, found out they do host comedy shows monthly.

Update: they no longer have shuffleboard and I am not sure about the comedy shows BUT their Chicken Cheese Nachos is BANGING!“

“I really loved this place. It has a nice indoor and maybe an even nicer outdoor area. The staff was very kind too. I came here with a mission. 😎 I’m a huge fan of tripa so of course i tried the TRIPA taco and i chose ASADA too with steak. I really loved both, the textures, the flavours, everything was great. I loved the texture of the tripa tha most!!! Oh and the texture of the tortilla… wow, i loved that too. 😋“
