“Went to Blue Waters on a Saturday night. Definitely suggest making a reservation which we had because it is tight but cozy. Food was delicious. We had the Greek salad, branzino and salmon. baklava for dessert. Drinks were yummy too! Only negative was music a little too loud.“

The dips and platters were absolutely unforgettable, vibrant flavors and amazing balance in taste — not a single complaint first time going! (those lemon potatoes are nothing less than mind blowing) Everything tasted completely authentic and don’t skip on the Greek hot coffee, made over sand and very rich tasting. The deserts also were an extremely satisfying end to a meal, being very rich and delectable. Service was wonderful, giving all customers a friendly and comforting welcome, making everything feel natural and inviting.“

“I ordered food for a party to take out and got excellent advice about amounts. Not too much, but plenty. And it was so good! I ordered lamb gyro, chicken souvlaki, spanakopita, grilled vegetables, falafel, lemon potatoes, and a tray of Greek salad. Everyone was so happy with the food. And the staff are so nice, and go above and beyond. This is my new favorite Greek spot. It should be yours too.Vegetarian options: I think a vegetarian would be happy here.Dietary restrictions: My party had vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, and food allergies. Everything was separated as I asked.Parking: There’s 4-6 spots behind the restaurant and you can also park on the street.“
“Had an AMAZING time. It was the kids' first time having Greek food, and they loved it! ??Everything was soooooo good. Typically, I like to get grilled chicken with lemon potatoes, but since we went during brunch, I opted for the grilled chicken skewers with the rice pilaf. My husband had the fish of the day which was the branzino, and the kids shared the steak. (The chimichurri sauce was so good).For dessert, the mango sorbet was so refreshing and tropical and the galaktoboureko was a treat indeed as well.Will definitely be back! “No nonsense Greek food mostly for takeout although there are a few tables to eat in. The chicken souvlaki is good but the homemade chicken gyro is even better. They don't always have it available though. Reasonably priced and they usually prepare orders quickly. Always a good choice for Greek in Merrick or nearby towns.“
“For me, consistency is a major factor when it comes to choosing where to eat. Gyrolicious is consistently serving up some of the best Greek food I've had outside of Astoria, and the staff is always very welcoming. The portions are very generous, and never lack in flavor. You can tell they really take pride in serving their customers and the quality of the food they put out. Absolutely recommend!“

“My husband, and I, had food delivered, from this superb restaurant.The large Greek salad, which we shared, was very fresh, and delicious.It had grape leaves, chopped Romaine, cucumbers, lots of large chunks of feta cheese, red onions, and tomatoes.We had two protein add-ons, falafel balls, and salmon.The salmon was cooked to perfection, juicy, and a delight to eat.The falafel balls were the best that I have ever had.In fact, whenever we order this restaurant’s falafel sandwiches, the falafels are mouth-watering good, and the sandwiches are chock full of lettuce, tomatoes, tahini, and hummus.The chef, and owner, take great pride in what is offered to the public.The restaurant aims to please, and it always, consistently succeeds.My husband and I are vegetarians, and we often order the lentil soup.It is a vegan broth of savory vegetables.Everything we have sampled from “ The Greek Cove”, in Long Beach, has been wonderful.Delivery is always on time, with Grubhub, or with Uber Eats.I have only praise for the high professionalism, of the owner, and the chef, and the quality of food, that is prepared, so well.“
“Amazing restaurant whether it's with friends or family! One of my best friends from college raved about this restaurant and it's easily a hidden gem! You wouldn't normally expect to have a Greek-Mexican fusion restaurant but this one is amazing! I highly recommend getting their stuffed poblano peppers (stuffed with Cauliflower as I'm vegetarian) - 11/10! They even have mocktails and I recommend the mango mule - which I absolutely loved! Will definitely be back here, but given today was Saturday, the restaurant was busy so you couldn't hear the conversation, but food and service are top notch! Also...Food Network...get here ASAP!“

“I love Athena Greek Restaurant in Amityville. I haven't found a Greek restaurant I like better in the area. I don't want to name the places I think are awful because I don't give bad reviews. I realize how it can have a negative effect on a business. If I don't like it I just don't go back. The food is amazing. The Spanakopita is excellent. I get the Chicken in an orange ginger sauce or the berry sauce. I have become a regular patron and I will continue to come once a week. They do great take out as well. The service is great you will not be disappointed.“

“Been going here since i was alittle baby . Their traditional food is amazing and must try. They have my favorite desert ever there called galatoubodiko. Its like a thick flan with philo dough and hkney and cinnamon syrupt on it. My.other favorites are aphadite greek salad, spinakopita and avolemeno soup.“
“The restaurant is in a low traffic area and seems to do decent with takeout. I haven't seen anyone sit down yet each time I went. Restaurant looks pretty clean and full of space. The folk working here are pretty nice. Portion sizes are either lunch or dinner size for your platters. Even the lunch size is a good size portion enough for one person. The dinner size is enough for two people. When we ordered the lunch size for gyro, we had a choice of either a salad or a soup for the first side which is separate from the gyro and there is a second side that goes along with the gyro, so you can pick one of the following fries, rice, lemon potatoes or grilled vegetables. The container is filled about 80% full with grilled pita. When we ordered the dinner size for gyro, its the same as lunch but you can pick two of the sides that go along the gyro. This is effectively filling your container all the way to the top at 100% filled with grilled pita. Recently it appears they increased this to up to three sides, but I imagine they will just reduce the portion size of each side if you pick three but would still fill the container full. The Greek salad is good and the soups we tried were also good. The gyros and chicken souvlaki were on point.“

We started out with the spread sampler - roasted eggplant with garlic, parsley & extra virgin olive oil, spicy whipped feta cheese with roasted red peppers, garlic & Potato puree with extra virgin olive oil & citrus and greek Yogurt With Garlic, cucumber & extra virgin olive oil. All four spreads were delicious. We split two small plate dishes; slow cooked Lamb Spare ribs, herbs & lamb jus served with tzatziki and fresh spinach with Imported Feta & dill wrapped in baked crispy filo dough. All was delicious. The service was great. The restaurant was very nice. I would definitely recommend this Greek restaurant.“

“My husband and I found out about this place through a neighbor. It's located right by the Bethpage LIRR so street parking can be a little tight. If you have a LIRR parking permit or visit after rush hour, then parking shouldn't be an issue. We ordered their Chicken Gyro and Chicken Souvlaki lunch specials. The lunch specials came with a cup of soup and a Greek salad. We are big fans of their tomato orzo soup but they only had lemon chicken soup or mushroom barley soup that day. We tried their lemon chicken soup and thought it was surprisingly good. The lemon flavor was subtle so it wasn't too sour and the soup was served warm. The Greek salad was a decent portion and came with a lot of toppings. My favorite part was the stuffed grape leaf! We decided to order a Combo of Three (garlic dip, hummus, and stuffed grape leaves) as well. We were blown away by the hummus and thought the garlic dip was more like a pureed potato salad. It was good but wasn't great. The Chicken Gyro was good but I felt the Chicken Souvlaki looked tastier. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu as everything was prepared well. It's just a matter of personal preference. P.S. You get free pita bread and tzatziki with your orders!“
“I really like this place it's super clean people are friendly and helpful. It's good for catering and the food is really fresh. Their bread is nice which is always an afterthought with Greek food but in their case it's good and their salads are usually crispy and fresh“
“Really delicious food here. Very fast delivery, I was actually shocked when the man rang the bell because I felt like I just hung up the phone giving them my order. I got the gyro platter and it was yummy. I wasn't crazy for their white sauce for some reason and I didn't love the peas in the rice but over all it was a great meal“
