“Went to Spice Village for lunch today. At that time of day the restaurant felt cold and looked a little dreary. We were about to leave when the owner Naresh came over with some welcoming bread. He was friendly and very welcoming. My daughter and I decided to stay. We ordered the vegetable samosas and chef specials yogurt chicken from the appetizer menu and as our main dish we had the butter chicken with garlic nan. Glad we stayed. Everything we had was quite delicious.“

“Soooo good!!! We got the samosas, pani puri, garlic naan, chicken korma, and goat karahi. So delicious!! The samosas are everything and all the sauces were yummy! We're a big fan of the chicken korma too. The couple who own the restaurant are super sweet and attentive. I will be coming back soon :)“

“We are true Indian FOODIES!! Our whole family loves Indian food. We have tried every Indian restaurant from Long Island & parts of Florida! Kiran Palace is the Best!!!! I am so happy they have finally brought back their LUNCH BUFFET!!! They did it in such a way that no one else does, they have the buffet table set up & bring out tandoori chicken as well as other dishes FRESH to your table as much as you want so these dishes don’t become dried out or soggy!! ALSO, they change different dishes every day, so we usually go twice a week & it’s always fresh!!! The staff is super friendly & makes us always welcome! They even have their buffet on weekends! They are closed on Tuesday. In case I haven’t said enough, WE LOVE KIRAN PALACE!!!“

“WOW. i am not disappointed with my order. i ordered off doordash after not having indian food for 3 years and i am blown away. the portion is good, i got it delivered to me hot and fresh, their chicken tikka masala is so flavorful and it has the right amount of spice. the naan is so soft and goes perfectly with the chicken tikka masala, and their rice is amazing as well. this has to be one of my favorite indian food spots right now and would order from them again!! thank you so much .“

We feel that this restaurant has the Best food in Hicksville Area. Every item we ordered was fresh and d mouth watering. Prices are very reasonable and staff is very friendly always ready to help. “We went to Haka in Hicksville, NY as a family of 6 and everyone enjoyed the food very much. We ordered way too much food but it was all delicious and we left nothing on the table. Some of the appetizers are huge and more than enough for a meal. For the main meal we ordered sushi, fish, shrimp, and Indian dishes, all very tasty.“

“I've eaten here for years and never had any real complaints. But this last time was disappointing. The portion and flavor of chicken curry I got was good. But the sauce was more watery and thin than usual and the most disappointing was the naan. Normally that is my favorite part, but this time not only is the naan half the size but you can tell its from a package and not homemade. The old one you could tell was made fresh and cooked in the proper way and it was twice as big. If im paying $20 for an entree portion I at least expect the bread to be fresh and not pre packaged. Especially when I can spend a little more than half anywhere else in the food court for the same amount and food and it would include a drink.“

This Place’s Biryani is one of the Best. They also serve fresh Shish Kabab, Mix grill, 🥩 Steak, Chicken Tikka, Malai Tikka, Halim, Goat Curry, Goat Korma, Chicken Korma, Butter Chicken and much more. Their khir is exceptionally great. This place is great for Large or Small Catering orders. Also, the Price you pay here is much less than other restaurants around here in Hicksville and Nassau County Area. Our Family and Friends have been their regular customers for Dining in or for our catering orders. Love this place. Staff working here are super friendly. Always ready to help. The owner is super sweet, and the service is always top-notch. Now, the food? Next-level!!! Also love how clean they keep the area at all times (with scents of incense, makes it more traditional😍), huge plus for me at a restaurant.

My absolute favorites are the gunpowder uttapam, malgudi dosa, podi dosa and moong dal dosa, each bite packed with authentic flavor, literally soul food for me!! Im already drooling 🤤. Pair them with their mouthwatering sambar, chutneys, and rasam, and you’ll be licking your fingers, I promise. Even their chai, idli, and vadas are pure, authentic goodness. The best part? They cook in desi ghee, which elevates everything though they have coconut oil as an option if ghee or other oils don't suit you. But trust me, go for the ghee, unmatched flavor!! No matter where ever I go in New York for Dosa, I keep coming back to HOD, for obvious reasons^.😋
