“My favorite ramen in the area! Something about their broth is much tastier and flavorful than the other ramen places I've had in the area. Visited twice already and ordered delivery and the ramen consistently good. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the bubble tea. I got the matcha milk tea and it didnt taste good. The pearls were very bland and too hard for my liking. Always get bubble tea at a designated bubble tea place 😆“

“Delicious ramen shop located in the Japanese grocery store! Easy to miss. The store is located behind the Hanamaru Zakka and the art store. The ramen shop is located in the back of the store. Order at the counter and mostly self serve. They have a lot of different ramen and udon options. I got the original ramen and my friend got the udon. Consensus was to get the ramen. The ramen tasted amazing! Price was a bit expensive. The staff are nice, and the parking lot has lots of space.“

“We ordered several dishes and enjoyed all of them. The Japanese curry, gyoza, spicy tofu, avocado salad were all excellent. Delicious! Service was very fast. The food came out so fast I couldn't believe it, but it was so hot that it had to have been cooked right then and there. The chicken wings were so hot that it almost burned out mouths and they were very good! We don't live very close by, so we won't become regular clients because it's not in our immediate area, but I would definitely give high recommendations to those looking for reasonably priced Japanes food in this area. We are well and the bill came out to
$92 which I think was incredibly affordable.“

“Food, setting, and staff are wonderful. We are in the area for a hospital visit and decided to come back for lunch two days in a row. This was my first experience with poke, a great place to be introduced to it.
Everything is new and fresh including the seating area, signage, and even the restroom!“

“Noodumpling in Hicksville is an absolute gem! I stopped in recently and was blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. The dumplings are some of the best I’ve had—juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care.
The staff was super friendly and patient when explaining the menu, and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the whole restaurant feels clean and welcoming.
If you love authentic noodles and dumplings, this place needs to be on your list. I’m already planning my next visit! 🍜🥟“

“Kaiyo is a great local spot for high-quality sushi.
The fish is very fresh, the rolls are well balanced, and nothing feels overdone. You can really taste the quality in both the nigiri and specialty rolls. Portions are solid, and everything comes out looking clean and thoughtfully prepared.
The atmosphere is relaxed but polished, and the service is friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. It’s an easy go-to for a casual dinner that still feels a little elevated. Definitely a place I’d come back to.“

“Literally THE BEST Ramen spot on the island. I work around the block and consistently come here and pick up food every week - workers are great, food is amazing and I will forever love this spot. As an anime fan, I enjoyed the atmosphere very much, ramen is a common reoccurring meal in the anime Naruto, which is prominently used for decoration
They also have the largest portion of pork chashu I have ever had and It was delicious and chared to perfection“

“Edit: just want to add that within one week, we went back, this time I brought my sister and she likes it too. Still 5 star. The owner is quick in prepping our pokebowls to go, and portion was great! This will be our regular pokebowl location!
Our first time there last Sunday and even my son , who never wanted to try pokebowls, because he's a sushi fan, had it and said it was good. Just wished the portion of sides can be more if we only chose a few due to food allergies.
I had the tempura shrimp ramen and the shrimps were delicious!

“This place was better than I thought. I originally was craving some type of Korean wings I thought this place would have that but they really don't because I ended up getting a spam crispy roll thing it's like sushi only with Spam sounds gross but it's actually really good. And some wings. This food was higher quality than I thought even though it was a little expensive it's okay though because you get what you pay for and this food was banging. And I mean BANGING. LIKE WOW. My boba tea was also good I told them to not make it so sweet it was still kind of too sweet for my tasty“
