“Last night I celebrated my Birthday at Kennedy's Restaurant and it was Fabulous time!! I absolutely love this restaurant the atmosphere is so beautiful and elegant I almost felt like I was on a cruise ship * We had a great table by the window overlooking the beach * and I totally felt like I was away on vacation somewhere which put me and my guests in a great celebratory mood. I love the fact that the chairs were very comfortable and cushioned and there were no stairs to use the restroom which was a big plus for my elderly aunt. The food was absolutely delicious we shared the fried calamari platter and scallops risotto for appetizers. The porterhouse veal chop was absolutely divine! We ended the night with a birthday's cake and the live guitarist/vocalist chimed in and sang happy birthday! It was all above and beyond what I could of asked for and me and my guest all had the best time ever! Special thanks to our server Daniel and the Hostess that made us comfortable. Can't wait to go back🥳“

Starting with a refreshing porter beer from the tap, I then savored the incredible Japanese sweet potato, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The highlight of the meal was the Porchetta Sandwich with ZA'ATAR CHIPS. Encased in their soft and freshly made bread, the sandwich was a symphony of flavors, perfectly complemented by the crispy and tasty house-made chips. Each bite was a testament to their commitment to using high-quality ingredients and crafting memorable dishes. “This place is astoundingly good from top to bottom. The hostess Carla was amazing. Our server was next level. The clams casino is one of the best dishes I’ve had in my twenty years in New York hands down. Don’t sleep on the prawns or the lobster orzo. My only complaint possible is the portions are a little small but GOD DANG are they delicious. The burger is very tasty but maybe not worth the price but everything else is truly unfathomably scrumptious. Been here twice now. Plan on being back as much as my wallet can handle it.“

“Trying to keep this place a hidden gem, because there is too much traffic in the rock already. However! Margie's has one of THE best burgers I have ever had in my entire life and that says a lot because I consider myself a sandwich/burger connoisseur. It's so simple and I believe that's what makes the burger shine. Paired with the atmosphere and the beach town vibes, it's hard for me to go anywhere else when I'm in need of a good burger. The other things I've tried on the menu didn't disappoint but I showed up for a burger and it stole the show for me. My compliments to the chef or recipe creator...whomever.“

When planning the trip, Colonie caught my eye so we decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did, because it quickly turned into the absolute highlight of our trip and was an evening we won’t forget. “We chose Arden for a simple NYE dinner and we're pleasantly surprised that it was much more than that. The oysters were mellow, but the bass ceviche with nuclear cham is required as is the polenta. The Coquito was anglacized. I enjoyed the filet with snow crab Oscar, but the Octopus was the stand out (they know their seafood). See you all soon.“

Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. Already dreaming of how and when I can make my way back to Park Slope just for this and the super chocolate-chip cookie. But that babka, this subtle mix of Nutella and chocolate (I don’t even like Nutella) and the smooth, moistness of it all is so perfect, with this sugared little crispy bottom. “I booked Dinner Party for my husband’s milestone birthday and hosted 36 friends by reserving the entire restaurant for 2.5 hours. I coordinated with the team from a month in advance, and they were all wonderful to work with. Everything ran smoothly and exactly as planned.

The food was delicious, the space was cozy, and it truly felt like an intimate dinner party at home. The five course tasting menu was served as cocktail style bites and was perfect for the evening. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their other menus.“
