“From the moment we walked in, to our exit the atmosphere was superb and the staff is attentive but not overly so. From appetizers to main course, thru dessert everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. A true 10 out of 10 experience!“

“Exquisite. Ben Hopkins - who runs the drink program, has created an unbelievable cocktail & drink program - there really is something for everyone including great N/A options. I’d say it’s worth it just for drinks alone, however, the food was also UNREAL. A celebration of low country cooking reimagined, with the nostalgia of a French bistro, with flavors and spices from around the world. Our server Jodi was not only excellent and attentive, she was fun, and spoke about the food like a chef. Even helped us course our meal so certain flavors wouldn’t mix. It was above and beyond.
5 stars. 10 stars. Just excellent. Go to Pitt’s. And thank you Ben!“

“I was very unfortunately openly weeping intermittently throughout brunch (bad morning) but our server handled it perfectly and didn’t make it weirder than it already was. Shout out to that king! Also the food was very good and they played the entirety of being killed by geese which was pleasant. Would come again thank you for the extra napkins (high quality, great for dabbing at tears) xox and also my Bloody Mary was excellent“

“Great burger, slightly overpriced for what it was, but that's not surprising given the neighborhood location. A solid meal all around, wouldn't travel far out of way to visit. If you're in the area, definitely give it a shot.“

“The best 5 course meal my wife and I have ever had thus far. Our hands down favorite, and rightfully so as sushi fanatics, was the hamachi. Talk about fresh on fresh on fresh on fresh. Fresh fish, fresh fruit, fresh sauce, fresh cream, fresh presentation—insanely delicious and refreshing.
The tiger bread was some of the most exceptional bread we've ever had as well. The garlic was as buttery smooth to spread as the whipped butter itself, and was pleasantly flavorful without being overly potent.
My next course was the butternut squash rigatoni. The garnish on top was light and crisp and added that extra accent to the whole dish to round it off beautifully. My wife got the iberico pork, which was cooked to tender perfection. The broccoli mash concoction that came with it was reminiscent of broccoli rabe but basically in it's ultimate form anime-style. Crazy inventive.
The next course for me was the beer battered monkfish with risotto and was actually the best beer battered anything I've ever tasted. Superior crisp encasing that mouth melting fish. The risotto had crispy chunks in it as well and helped offset the heaviness of the fried fish like a wife offsets her husband's hard shell exterior and gives way to his heart of flesh. Speaking of, my wife got the lamb with risotto and it was yet again a perfectly tender cut of meat. It was smokey and carried a more intense flavor, which also was rounded out by the gentleness of the risotto, complimenting it on that marital level yet again.
Lastly, the desserts came in and ended the whole show the same way it began—with favorite-level energy. It was the solid second favorite course for both of us. Mine was the panna cotta. Yo. It went crazy. It was like a salted caramel apple cheesecake, but after finding a way to dial in each ingredient to the max before artistically laying it all out on a plate without any of the cheesecake crust. I LOVE sweet/savory, and it encapsulated that in a dessert beautifully. My wife had the chocolate cake with ice cream, and like we don't even know how to properly describe how good that one was—but here goes nothing. The cake was dark dark and rich rich from the sauce oozing on top to the moist pastry itself. The ice cream had a citrus undertone to it that balanced out the richness of the cake. Literally, yin and yang on a plate with the freshest chocolate drenched cherries on top. Good Lord, the Lord is good indeed.
The service was top notch, from the warm greetings, to the coat check in, to the menu break down, to the seamless water refilling and course transitions. We are big on omakase type meals as sushi heads, and this was up there while being a fraction of the price. There was a chill and comforting vibe to the whole restaurant as well. Take a trip here and let them take your palette on a trip it will sing praises on the whole way through. Bless.“

“Want to make your pallet dance? Of course you do! Boutros is the place to go from their tantalizing cocktails to their original baba ghanoush and falafel you’ll be simply amazed. Old school, traditional recipes with a twist of new flare. Mikey is a wizard for creating his cocktails. I had the pleasure of trying two of them that he created after thinking about them for 12 years and I highly recommend them the Garlic Gibson and the Bitter tree, both are amazing. Allen, who is the chef and owner and named this quaint little place after his dad will delight you with his specialties my Sister and I had the mushroom hummus. The short rib wraps are beautiful salad and baba ghanoush to name a few. Hurry up, you won’t be disappointed!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I booked Dinner Party for my husband’s milestone birthday and hosted 36 friends by reserving the entire restaurant for 2.5 hours. I coordinated with the team from a month in advance, and they were all wonderful to work with. Everything ran smoothly and exactly as planned.
The food was delicious, the space was cozy, and it truly felt like an intimate dinner party at home. The five course tasting menu was served as cocktail style bites and was perfect for the evening. I can’t wait to go back and try more from their other menus.“

“I really love this place. When they closed the Ft Greene location I thought it was gone forever. But much to my delight they moved into a new space but kept the charm and great food. The people who work there are lovely, the food is good. It just taste and feels like a cozy neighborhood spot that never gets old.“

“I recently had the pleasure of stopping by Dilly Dally for brunch and it was one of the best stops I’ve made in a long time. On the immensely popular Vanderbilt Ave., it’s a standout - a remarkable fact since it’s one the newest establishments to grace said Avenue. Its charming exterior is as inviting as the space itself. Vibrant natural lighting, eclectic music, and art laden walls give it the comfort of a home…which (I believe) is key for a neighborhood establishment. My experience was guided perfectly by the kind, warm, and knowledgeable staff. Attracted by their unique components, I went with the savory breakfast burrito (chorizo/crispy potatoes/hatch green chile) followed by the sweet griddled blueberry corn muffin (whipped butter, strawberry preserves). Both prove to be deliciously creative takes on two breakfast/brunch staples. By nailing a couple of classics, I know they’ll nail the rest. With that, I truly look forward to going back to explore the rest of their menu soon (including dinner, of course) and so should you.“

“Overall very good but not amazing. I think I was expecting more basque and less burgers and wings on menu. Burrata to me was the best thing I tasted. Limited menu
That night when we went. The decor and ambiance I think really adds to the unique experience.“

“This place is astoundingly good from top to bottom. The hostess Carla was amazing. Our server was next level. The clams casino is one of the best dishes I’ve had in my twenty years in New York hands down. Don’t sleep on the prawns or the lobster orzo. My only complaint possible is the portions are a little small but GOD DANG are they delicious. The burger is very tasty but maybe not worth the price but everything else is truly unfathomably scrumptious. Been here twice now. Plan on being back as much as my wallet can handle it.“

“Incredible food, friendly staff and proprietor who know their wine list, with a sophisticated yet relaxed space that is perfect whether you are looking for a casual Friday night dinner date or a special occasion. And they are amazing caterers too-got raves for the Otway team’s menu and service at our Christmas party!“

“What I love most about this place is their portion sizes and presentation with food. In a perfect sandwich or burger, I expect to be able to put the contents of what I’m holding all in one bite. I should not have to mash the top of the bun to eat it. This place assembled their food very well. Everything is nearly put together, not slapped together and stacked 6 inches high❤️
Menu is robust, service is great, vibes.. even better. Good choice if you’re in the neighborhood!“

“My husband and I dined here during our visit to NYC. We came from the Cincinnati area and it was our first visit to the city. When planning the trip, Colonie caught my eye so we decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did, because it quickly turned into the absolute highlight of our trip and was an evening we won’t forget. The service is outstanding - each individual host made us feel like family. We were never short beverages, and our space at the chefs table was kept tidy at all times - no empty plates left behind. The sous chefs are impossibly talented at what they do and gave every single plate attention and care before it left their sight. And lastly, the Chef is a true artist and extremely kind, humble person. We were delighted when he walked over to pay a visit as it was our anniversary dinner. The food is layered with exquisite, complimentary flavors that are refined and articulate but also make these dishes relatable, familiar, and remarkable at the same time. As a couple traveling foodies, I can without a doubt say this is one meal you don’t want to miss when you visit NYC. I’m just waiting to visit again and see a Michelin star outside the entrance. Forever a staple every time we return to the city. Thanks Chef and crew for an unforgettable experience.“

“I love this place. We’ve been there with my toddler and always found what to eat (my favourite is chopped harvest salad.) and to drink ( water, herbal tea, coffee ). The stuff is polite. The interior design brings joy to eyes. Music is okay but I prefer calmer music, and
i would be happy if you’d add a warm soup and something new to your menu, which is good.:)“

“I’m glad I got to try this restaurant. Located right next to the S train, Hart’s is a seafood, olive oil, simple menu focused eatery.
I appreciated the quality of the olive oil and the bread. The lamb burger was pretty damn good too. The tomato salad was one of the best I’ve had. A bit too pricey for the food and quantity, but hey, I’d come back again.“

“The food was great I went during food week. I had the salmon with garlic mash and broccoli. The meal also came with dessert and an appetizer. You can add a glass of wine for 5 dollars. For the appetizer I had the birria empanada my cousin had the island shrimp I believed it was called. The shrimp👍🏾👍, I wasn't crazy about the empanada. I would definitely revisit this place. Also the run punch definitely punches. Try it out.“

“Below is my unedited initial review of Ren. Since writing this review I have had several people complain about their experience and they chose to go based on my review. Therefore, I'd like to preface the review below by sharing a few important details.
The tasting menu is for foodies. If you are not a foodie, you will NOT enjoy the tasting menu. You will leave hungry and agitated because of the price. Ren is VERY expensive. If you are not a foodie, your enjoyment will be the location/service and ambiance. But you don't need to go to Ren for that. My suggestion to Ren, if they want to start making money, is to offer a non-foodie menu. Your location and space is amazing. Your chef is very talented. Widen the offerings and the people will come. Even a foodie like me won't go back for the tasting menu. I did it. No reason to have it again, unlike the steak at Le Marais that I can eat twice a month and never get sick of (in theory, obviously).
My initial review, again, unedited:
Five stars all around. Chef is amazing. So go. Try it out. Now for some details. I have to go back and try the prefix menu. The tasting menu was out of this world. We went for my 50th birthday, so it was special and we paid knowing that. If you are going out for a regular meal, ask the prices first. They are much higher than you’d expect. However, the quality is also much higher. So you are truly getting what you pay for. The tasting is a kosher experience worth trying if you are a foodie. It will blow your mind away like it did ours. Took many hours for the different tastes we had in our mouths to subside! That was wild. Do yourself a favor and get the wine pairing. They know what they are doing at REN. Enjoy!“

“I was there with my colleagues Monday, November 10. We were at the nearby Signal Awards where our podcast received a Bronze prize for our podcast about Italian food, “I Wish I Were a Prosciutto.” We were hungry and looking for something with prosciutto. We had your most delicious pizza with prosciutto and arugula. The crust was Neapolitan perfection and the toppings were bursting with flavor. We were also impressed with the good-as-Nona’s meatballs. The service was outstanding and we appreciated meeting Gloria de la Rosa. You made our special night more special. We live in Connecticut, but we would come back again when we are in Brooklyn, tell our NYC friends about your place, and talk about it on our podcast. We wish you continued success! Thank you so much.“

“I went to The Harbor Light with my grandfather who is hard of hearing. I cannot tell you how accommodating the staff was. We originally sat in an area where he was unable to hear well. The owner Bernadette and the server Annie opened up a whole other section in the restaurant for us that was quieter. They were so kind and we enjoyed a lovely lunch. I would definitely recommend this place. They truly care about their patrons. Thank you Harbor Light!“

“the congee was delicious and so flavorful! I thought I got a simple braised chicken bowl but even that had so many other small elements in there that further amplified the dish. saw some reviews complaining about the congee being unevenly heated, but I did not experience this.
also such a beautiful little place to dine in-and they have a few shelves dedicated to groceries.
my only suggestion is specify if your lattes have coffee or not, other than that everything was (basically) perfect
would return for breakfast, lunch, or dinner any time of the year :-)“

“Last night I celebrated my Birthday at Kennedy's Restaurant and it was Fabulous time!! I absolutely love this restaurant the atmosphere is so beautiful and elegant I almost felt like I was on a cruise ship * We had a great table by the window overlooking the beach * and I totally felt like I was away on vacation somewhere which put me and my guests in a great celebratory mood. I love the fact that the chairs were very comfortable and cushioned and there were no stairs to use the restroom which was a big plus for my elderly aunt. The food was absolutely delicious we shared the fried calamari platter and scallops risotto for appetizers. The porterhouse veal chop was absolutely divine! We ended the night with a birthday's cake and the live guitarist/vocalist chimed in and sang happy birthday! It was all above and beyond what I could of asked for and me and my guest all had the best time ever! Special thanks to our server Daniel and the Hostess that made us comfortable. Can't wait to go back🥳“
