“The food here is fantastic! They have the best mozzarella sticks I've ever tasted, and the chicken fingers taste great hot or cold. The staff are so friendly and really make an effort to get to know the regulars. They look out for the kids that are always there in the summer too. This is, honestly, my favorite summer place!Update: the pizza is fantastic now!!!!! You get less mozzarella sticks for the same $6 but, honestly, they're so delicious - it's worth it!! Still my fave summer place!!!“

“Such a magical little respite near red hook! We loved the eggplant appetizer and margarita pizza. The white pizzas were also delicious but quite heavy(maybe lacked some acid / brightness? but I think it’s just a flavor preference thing). Can’t wait to go back and try more of the red sauce pies!“

“Yesterday there was a situation that should have put an end to our orders in this pizzeria! But!!!! The owner of this establishment called personally and we settled all the issues!! Thank you very much! It's insanely pleasant!!! I wish sincere prosperity and success to your business!
And yes, the pizza here is the most delicious in the whole neighborhood!!!!“

“Low key might be your best slice in Bushwick/Ridgewood. It bests Robertas and Ops easily yet doesn't get the hype of either of the latter. They also have better appetizer options like a mint watermelon salad that we devoured before taking a picture. The pizza hits all the marks of a good pie and then goes a step beyond with a similar price point to Robertas. This is a great spot that's out of the was but absolutely worthy of the trip.“

“Just a perfect local cafe. Beautiful, tasty food, good coffee, plenty of space, multiple vibes under one roof (all quiet, but not fussy; there's a back garden, some small tables and a coffee bar in front, and high tops in the back); clean restroom; and a pretty effortless flow between quiet and busy, which you can work right through without being disturbed. :)
Food and drink are a TAD pricey, but I'm from Flatbush and this is Park Slope, sooooooo ?
Definitely check it out!
Kid-friendliness: My kid loves it - ESPECIALLY the pizza and the chocolate gelato, which is unbelievably rich without being heavy! (She did see a bee in the back garden and she didn't love that - but, y'know, that's the risk of being outside.) ?“

“Little Pizza Parlor is an NYU Tandon classic. It was first discovered by my roommate, who put all of us on to the spot. She is a regular there and orders the French Onion slice, which she would rate 10/10. We all went there late one night and the ambiance was incredible. This place deserves more applause.“

“We came all the way from London for this. They say Brooklyn is the home of pizza so this was our first stop. Service was great as we walked in. Such a cool local gem. From the art on the wall to the antique whisk.
Sooo much choice but if you like chilli like me go straight for the eggplant chilli (which we tried on the house). Everything was fingerlicking delicious from the meat ball topping (which my kids picked off and ate first) to the plain cheese and other speciality pizzas we had tried (mushroom, pesto and burrata/honey). Im glad we sat in 20 mins traffic from Bed Stuy. 10/10
P.s. I have no pictures cos we ate it all :)“

“A chill pizza spot that has great slices and garlic knots for a reasonable price. There are always good slices to choose from whenever I’m here. The pic might not look like it as I took the last two slices from the bottom shelf. They are great!!“

“When this place was serving breakfast it was such a great option. I still think about the sausage gravu and biscuit. Local spot no frills so don't expect anything fancy. People are friendly enough by Brooklyn standards. I'm not pizza snob but people rave about the pies, but I really liked the bagels, the biscuits and the sausage gravy. The biscuit sandwich was absolutely massive and can definitely be eaten by two people. Not sure if they are still serving breakfast though.“

“Great service. Friendly staff. Delicious bread and amazing food. Definitely top quality.
Was here for my friends baby first birthday. The weather worked out really well and we end up being in the backyard.
The food is so much and great energy from the staff. They offer drinks and almost can’t walk out of here straight with the food.
I love the pizza. I think the burger can use some improvement but it okie. Their brunch menus is impressive thou. French toast is on the spot.“

“Been going there for 17 years even after I moved out of NY 16 years ago. Always stop in when I visit family and friends twice a year. . Tony is a treasure. His food is wonderful and always have a football match on the TV. This is the only place I eat eggplant parm from. I order two, one to eat there and one for the road.“

“A new Staple of the Brooklyn Pizza scene. It's definitely a spot to stop by and try. The crust is crunchy and a flavor with texture of it coming out of a brick oven, but it isn't. Had the rice balls a well, perfectly fried with the outside crisy and the inside gooey with fantastic fresh flavors. The inside is modern classic Italian pizzeria that clean and comfortable.Service was excellent friendly as if your family. Also, small business that is locally owned.“

“This place was absolutely amazing. The guy who works at the front desk was super sweet and I had amazing service. I would definitely come back here again not to mention the pizza was probably the best pizza l've ever had. This is a true authentic, New York slice and no other pizza will ever top this one. Good price too. ( also, someone there told me that the pepperoni is beef, not pork, which is a huge bonus for me)“

“Apparently they either didn’t have the New York-style pizza available or there was a miscommunication when my mother ordered for pickup
Besides that, the dough is fantastic
Great sauce
Would’ve rated it higher if it were regular
8.0/10
Edit: Brooklyn style pizza*“

“Truly amazing pizza and drinks. The staff were awesome even late night. They were still motivated to offer great service. The pizza was a true New York thin large slice with incredible toppings. We sat outside and ate pizza and had our drinks and had a great time. I definitely recommend this. We were over at a competitive pizza place earlier and they had an hour wait definitely not worth waiting. Come to this place and get a slice.“

“This is exactly how NY pizza is supposed to taste. Just like the past. It’s what I want my neighbors in NJ and friends in other states who’ve never had NYC pizza to taste. I’d bring my neighbors some, but I’m sure they ask for it more often.“

“Rated them on grubhub, and making sure I rate them here. Esca’s is hands down the best pizzeria in the area (including Howard Beach). Every time we’ve ordered from them we’re impressed. Usually we get a mushroom/pepperoni pizza and their outrageously delicious chicken parm garlic knot, both of which are always awesome. Today I tried a La Norma pizza and am once again impressed. Awesome work all around from the chefs to the delivery guys. They always cook good food and always deliver with a smile. Please consider staying open later, as there’s been times we wanted to order from you but couldn’t due to closing hours! I look forward to trying more of your dishes!“

“Went for dinner on a Wednesday night at around 9:15 pm after it caught my attention on a walk around the neighborhood. I was immediately struck by the ambiance of the place: a warm red brick dining room thoughtfully decorated to feel lived-in verging on kitschy: red vinyl chairs, black and white subway tile floors, dark wooden bar and walls lined with pennants and photos from the bygone Brooklyn Dodgers. Service was attentive.
We ordered the fennel salad and a classic pie with sausage. Razor-thin sliced fennel and red onion made a crisp bed of vinegar slaw for playfully pizza-like toppings: blood oranges julienned to look like pepperoni and, in a flash of brilliance, a few hand-pitted olives to balance the sweetness of the citrus with a briny umami bite.
The pizza was simple and unlike any other I’ve found in New York City. Even with sausage added it was a lightly adorned pie, one that makes a regular slice from your typical slice shop seem extravagantly cheesy. But the thoughtful restraint exercised by chef Nino Coniglio’s kitchen allowed the quality of its ingredients to sing. The coal-fired crust was ultra-thin and baked to crispy perfection without sacrificing a light consistency. The slices maintained their structural integrity despite the sauciness of the pie. The red sauce, from DOP San Marzano tomatoes dressed with olive oil and light ribbons of delicate fior di latte, was beautiful in the way only the most beautiful things are: simplicity executed by a master who prizes the quality of his ingredients. My dining companion, a pizza skeptic, couldn’t help but eat half the pie before I had finished my second slice.
But don’t let my rhapsodizing fool you into thinking this is some fancy schmancy place. This place is a real bar, with $4 beers and $11 house cocktails, and pies are served alongside their cheap drinks until 3am. 3AM!
I hardly ever write reviews, especially of places I like for fear of TikTok-induced virality, but this place is simply too good to avoid. I’ll probably have to pay the price one day, but until then I will thank my lucky Charlie stars for this gem of a low-key neighborhood spot.“
