“Excellent food and service“

“We took my husband and dad out for Father's Day looking for a wonderful time. With any holiday you know it's going to be busy and we anticipated some wait of course. Boy we were left more than disappointed with the overall experience with this restaurant. We had a reservation on the deck, but after being initially seated inside, my husband mentioned the outside status and we were gruffly seated to an outside table. The menu looked delish and we ordered some mimosas which the waiter said came with the specials. We got the drinks right away but had to flag down our waiter to place our breakfast order. Everyone around us got bread and olives and when I asked if we were getting it he said it just for lunch, but it was brunch! Everyone around us who came before us is getting their meals and we are just sitting there. We didn't get our food until over an hour later and mine and my dad's order was incorrect. When I got up to mention this and speak to the manager, to add insult to injury the manager can't show his face, he sends another waiter to talk to us. The waiter apologizes on his behalf and says that in order to make us happy we will be comped for my dad's and my meal. We say thank you and tell him we feel horrible he was to be put in this position. We get up to use the bathroom and get things going with the check and the waiter hands me the bill. The manager is standing right there. I see that there is a charge for the Mimosas. At this point I am really upset and I say "You said that they were included". The manager then rudely gets in my face and says "No, no, no. The drinks are Not included today". I tell him that the waiter told me so and he says no again. I then give him a piece of my mind of the whole experience and how it put a damper on the whole day. To this he curtly says " We are busy today miss, good day". This place has the potential to be excellent with the right manager and staff. To be disrespectful this way and then on Father's Day to boot was downright awful. Be a man and own up to making a mistake, don't send another employee to make things right.“

“We usually dine at the NYC location, but decided to dine here for Thanksgiving. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Service was outstanding . Very accommodating to our dining habits and needs. We never felt rushed and thoroughly enjoyed dining there. That means so much. The Thanksgiving menu had many delicious choices and the portions were perfect. We will return when in the area.“

“Phenomenal from start to finish!! We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for an early dinner. Dani, co-owner & chef, greeted us with a warm welcome. You could tell right away she had a genuine interest in making our experience special. We started out with a creamy, simple burrata that came with homemade focaccia. The bread was SO perfect. We each had salmon with Israeli couscous and broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the wine suggested by Dani. Then dessert…it was so difficult to pick just one!!! So we got three! Ana, the other owner, is the evil genius behind the to die for desserts!! Tiramisu, mascarpone cheesecake (we took it to go) and an apple cider donut with vanilla ice cream. (The donut was so absolutely divine that my boyfriend ordered a second serving!!) And can I just say the cappuccinos were on point! My mouth is watering just thinking about it all again! I hope others visit and enjoy the fabulous food, service and atmosphere at Mambo. We don’t live around the corner, but will definitely make the drive back because the whole experience was just that good. I wish Dani and Ana much success. “Chef Sergio and his staff are warm and welcoming! The food reflects his love of serving authentic dishes. The ingredients were top quality and the taste was flavorful. Every dish at this tasting was perfect and represented the menu perfectly. The artichoke was pure bliss, hand made parpadelle magic, branding delicious and so much more! “My husband and I went for dinner. We had a reservation and was greeted by the hostess, Madeline, who sat us right away. She was such a delight. She checked on us during dinner to make sure everything was going well. The chef also came to say hello and to make sure everything was to our liking. It totally was!! We ordered too much food because it was hard to decide on one thing. Shrimp cocktail and calamari appetizers. So good! Each was more than enough for two people! We ordered dinner from the 'specials' menu. Hubby had the 12oz grilled ribeye... and couldn't eat it all. I ordered the beef short ribs...sooo tender! Everything was delicious, including the drinks! The servers were awesome and very attentive! We'll definitely be back!!“

“My experience at Allegria Ristorante involved attentive, courteous and friendly waitstaff, a clean and well designed environment, and food that was superb. My friend and I both had the minestrone soup and the fennel salad with shrimp, expertly prepared and perfectly seasoned. Capping off our experience, our reservation was intentionally set for 6:30 PM - in August 2024, Saturday dnnertime entertainment is jazz standards in chord melody form expertly played by Raphael Silverman on a gorgeous Gibson Johnny Smith archtop guitar through a Henrikson Bud Six amp. Nice clean tone comes through very well in this setting .“

“This location i have come to a few times. It has progressively become better and better.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and quite, while there is a great social bar, with very nice accomodationimg staff and the downtown has become much better than it use to be that this hotel is right within.

Only downside I've experienced is the up charge fee for late checkout. Normally around the world a late checkout there is not a secondary charge of you request up till 1-2pm. Unfortunately this hotel is going with the US trend of charging consumers for needing a later checkout even if you checking at 11pm bc of late travel etc.. Only down on have to say, but hotel it top notch“

Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. It was as sensational as anything you would get in a 2 Michelin star restaurant. Simply superb. I preceded it with a spicy basil Margarita made by Francisco and a little gem salad with cubed sweet potato, radishes and feta with a delicious dressing. Serving us was Javier, the gold standard in his field. Kevin manned the front of the house that night and he was as charming as ever. Fratangelo is an incredibly talented chef and his wife an equally as gifted pastry chef. I urge you to sample their food. You will not be disappointed.“

Pastina's has a gluten free Chicken Marsala dish that is delicious. This restaurant also has other gluten free options which I've had, that are equally as delicious.“
