“We were recommended this place by my wife's cousin she said the stew peas were A class. She was right, according to my wife, it's the best she's had in a long while from a restaurant. I had the sweet and spicy wings that were seasoned and cooked very well. Food was not salty and was very fresh.
Ps we also had Patties, veg, and beef, and they were great, but I think they are golden crust patties, so that's to be expected.“

“Very nice place, our waitress was super friendly with cute Irish accent. The menu does not have many Irish items but we could find two (Shepherd's pie and Irish breakfast) that tasted very good. “Large quantities and yummy food! We got 2 combos for two for 6 ppl and it was more than enough food. We got the classic spice with bean curd and king oyster mushrooms, chicken wings, and pork belly. We also got the tomato soup with fish and beef with lotus root and wide noodles plus milk custard and spicy noodles. Would come again!“

“An absolute gem in the UES! Delicious food, generous serving sizes, and a nice happy hour cocktail. I've now been a few times and I think there's something for everyone. Both the steak frites and the shrimp and cheesy grits were heavenly and I always get the mac and cheese to start. Great for a nice date or a solo weeknight dinner.“

But when I went this week, I found myself disappointed that they did not serve bread. The waiter told be they do not do it anymore with no explanation. “Phenomenal. I can’t get over how sweet the lady who attended us was. This is the first restaurant I’ve been to where i felt as if the food was truly made with love. The food itself was absolutely delicious, and the price was very reasonable. My friend and I ordered the fried chicken, tteokbokki, and bulgogi kimbap. The portions were perfect, we finished ALL of it (and licked our fingers clean). Their plates are also so cute if I may add. I will definitely bring all of my friends here when they visit Teaneck.“

Har gow / shrimp siu mai - 3/5, hard to get wrong, just didn’t love it, even with the soy sauce.
Chicken siu mai - 5/5, was my favorite
Sticky rice wrap - 1/5, mushroom and sticky rice was not my favorite
BBQ pork bun - 1/5, wasn’t my thing
Crispy shrimp roll - 4/5, pretty good“

“My friends and I went to the restaurant on a Wednesday rainy day I had the cinnamon raisin french toast with chicken and the fried shrimp it was very good the french toast is amazing. We also had the bottom less mimosas when I tell you they never let the glass hit the bottom. The service was excellent very positive and comfortable environment we sat for a while. we ate talked and danced and the staff continued to accommodate us beyond our reservation time limit. I will definitely visit Chocolat' again when in New York“

“My go-to takeout place for noodles after work. They are relatively quick and have consistent quality food - though the medium spice varies tremendously. Delicious noodles, wings, tea, and other street food they offer, can’t go wrong.

Very friendly and understanding staff, highly recommended eating in as well, though I personally only get takeout weekly.“

“The spicy chicken biscuit omg toooooo die for so my husband and I saw many people entering this spot plus it was our first time. We heard mac and cheese, greens, and fried chicken. So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. “What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“

After looking at many places on Columbus that just didn’t thrill us, we were SO happy to find the incredibly delicious Mexican cuisine at Nina’s last night I had the Cochinita Pibil (with an orange habanero salsa on the side that will let you know who’s boss…) and my old friend had Enchiladas Mole with chicken. Excellent and authentic food with warm, friendly staff, and a great bar selection with many tequilas. Nina’s is great! Reasonable too! Glad to give credit where it’s due to this 7mo old establishment that I hope stays for many years! Will return for more!“

“Came on a Friday evening. The food and service were good. The DJ was spinning good R&B. The restaurant is small and a little unorganized when it comes to waiting for a table. I get that it's a neighborhood spot, and everyone knows each other, but if it's a restaurant, treat it like one. If it's a lounge, change it to a lounge and not a restaurant.“
