“If you're looking for some of the best Dominican food in the US, it's here - down a few steps, in this pool hall. Everything was delicious, and I absolutely loved the habichuelas (beans). The gallina was tender to the point it was falling off the bone, and the rice was fluffy and full of flavor. This is truly a place where you can taste the love.“

“I ordered delivery from their website. No third party delivery service and it felt GREAT! I just paid for my food and gave a tip to the delivery person. I am so grateful that El Tina’s still does this.

We ordered the oxtail. It was delicious! So meaty and full of flavor. We also ordered the pernil which was very tasty and tostones with garlic sauce.

The food came piping hot and quickly. I cannot wait to order from Tina’s again.

“I had a construction project in the neighborhood so i decided to try some Dominican food. I chose the right place; food was delicious. Even the girls didn't speak much English but they try their best to communicate with me.
Bathroom was extremely CLEAN !

Because I was Not happy with the indoor because it’s Extremely weird cafeteria lighting... they should think about more restaurant friendly lighting . Also Bathrooms were filthy . But the food and service make up for it.“

“Ordered the family meal with bistec encebollado which my family loved, the white rice could have been better, there was a staple on the bottom of the rice, I am to assume they were grappling and one flew to the tin, not a big deal the family loved the food.

I ordered a mofongo de cerdo, it was not the best; the pork had rib pieces (which I have never had pork like this with mofongo) and the meat was
burnt beyond being edible, I wish the mofongo was more garlicky, the sauce was yummy but again the burnt pieces of pork was somewhat disappointing. If you are a monfingo enthusiast, please do not get your hopes up.

“My mom was in the hospital not too far and I was looking for some Spanish food and came across this place. I had mangu for breakfast and it was amazing!!! I absolutely loved it, didn’t get to take a picture because I was so hungry but it def gets a 10/10…I went back for lunch and once again did not disappoint, I got yellow rice with Pernil and maduros and a accapuria and it was one of the best I’ve had!!! “So, I came here because I was craving some Dominican chicken soup. They didn't have it ready when I went but it's fine. I ended up ordering the tripe soup. The soup was quite tasty and had a generous amount of vegetables. I had no problems placing the order and found the staff very pleasant and welcoming. It probably doesn't hurt to speak decent Spanish, but honestly, if you're in New York, speaking a little Spanish is helpful. Prices were fair and service was fast. All in all, I would recommend eating here.

Pernil was seasoned well and even though one order had white rice idc bc quality and amount of food given made up for it! I have an old George Foreman I usually use to crisp up cuerdo but as you can see in the video there was no need for that. Really happy with my order“

My experience is a perfect example; ask for a lunch of rice, beans, sweet fried plantains, and stewed chicken. The woman added a bunch of rise into the container along with the beans and the. Charged me separately for the stewed chicken and a bunch of sweet plantains in a container too when all I wanted was like 2-3 pieces of the sweet plantains in the same bowl as a lunch style and pay for just that.
