“Food was very good service was pretty good we got our food pretty fast except the host/waiter never cracked a smile. Very dry person. Kind of rude at times but it is what it is. Mexican guy with long hair. Wasn’t really kind to the kids either. I had the chart octopus and grilled shrimp and a Greek salad. Everything was good. Except the host/waiter.

Parking: There is a parking lot but it’s small maybe 10 to 15 spots“

“I attended a surprise party this Saturday evening. The cuisine was preselected, waiter service was excellent, should receive raises. The table arrangement was very poor. The party was downstairs in one of the private rooms. We were 25 people at one very long table, basically the length of the room, which made it difficult for guests to get around the seated persons at the head of the table on either side. Having two tables would have been a better arrangement, but one long table was not conducive for conversation since we were so far from the other end of the table. The food; not many complaints, I really didn’t have a problem. I didn’t have a lot of food, but it was delicious. The dessert, sorry not very good. Those Famous Crepes(palacinkes) sorry not that great. A lot of crepe and not a lot of filling. The dish was served with fruit, unfortunately this fruit was not in season, so the watermelon although it added color to the dish, upon tasting it, left much to be desired. Why not serve fruit that is in season? No offense to my party hosts who selected my menu for the evening, it didn’t lend itself to the 5 Star Reputation of Dubrovnik’s. I would like to make reservations and splurge on a dinner on my own, I have a feeling I would LOVE the experience! Btw, another plus was the parking!“

“I visited this place after seeing it on TikTok, I was craving some good fish and thought I’d give it a try. Honestly, I didn’t have any expectations, but the entire experience turned out to be an incredible surprise.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear they recognized we were tourists, and they welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality. They took the time to explain the menu and help us choose our dishes, which we really appreciated.

The service was fast, and before our actual order arrived, they brought out three generous tasting plates so we could sample a variety of flavors. At first, I thought that was our full order, it was that impressive! Then came our main dishes, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The shrimp in particular were unforgettable, so fresh and flavorful.

If there were more than 5 bubbles to give, I absolutely would. The food, the people, the atmosphere, everything was extraordinary. A truly heartwarming and tasty experience. Highly recommended!“

My experience here has been delightful from the food to the friendly and attentive staff members who make customers feel right at home. If you are a seafood lover who’s in the mood for mouth-watering authentic Cajun dishes that won't break the bank, look no further than Crab Du Jour in Harlem; just steps away from the hustle and bustle of 125th Street. Their signature boils are an absolute must-try! They offer a variety of options like Crawfish, Shrimp, Snow Crab legs, Dungeness Crabs and Lobster Tail – all cooked to perfection! Each boil comes with potatoes and corn on the cob and your choice of classic garlic butter, lemon pepper, and the original Cajun or Crab du jour special, sauce. I usually add sausage to my boil; Yummy! Looking for something other than boils, there are plenty of choices! They offer dishes like po’ boys sandwiches which come with fried oysters or fried fish filets. My friend really likes the crispy chicken po’boy. They also offer fried shrimp baskets, or crab cake baskets, just to name a few. “This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Things were screwed up from beginning to end with absolutely no sense of apology or remorse. We had a 630 reservation, showed up on time, but we weren't seated until almost 7pm. The waiter came to our table for the first time at 720pm. We had researched the menu ahead of time to make sure there were kid friendly options, but since it was Mother's Day, they were operating with a different menu which is totally fine. We asked the waiter if they had any kid friendly food that wasn't on the menu and he said no and that all we can get is what's listed on the menu, so we went ahead and ordered. About 20 mins after we ordered, we saw that the kids at the table next to us were eating chicken fingers and french fries, so we asked the waiter why he didn't tell us about that option. He said that we didn't ask and he got a bit of an attitude about it. Luckily he was able to change our order and the kids got chicken tenders. We waited patiently for an incredibly long time for our food to come out, and at about 830, I got up and asked the waiter for an ETA on the food and he again gave me an attitude like I was ruining his night and he said "soon". The food came out about 2 minutes later, so we were hopefully going to get on with our evening. Upon further inspection, the chicken tenders that they delivered to my daughter were RAW. Not just slightly under cooked, completely raw, pink, cold chicken. We called the waiter over again and he again had an attitude when we sent the food back. Again, not even a hint of an apology to be found. When the chicken came back out, it was completely burnt, but we decided it wasn't worth the time to talk to the waiter about it again. At this point we had been at the restaurant for 2 hours with a 5 and 8 year old kid, so we just wanted to be done and get out. Again, at no point during this experience did a single person offer an apology or even show an ounce of remorse for how terrible the service was. They ruined my wife and mother-in-law's Mother's Day dinner and they should be ashamed to call themselves a restaurant. We are a local family, but we will never go back there again. I will also make it a point to tell everyone I know that Caffe Regatta is a terrible restaurant.“

“Best fried or steamed fish you will ever have from a store front. And seriously maybe the cheapest. My go to is the fried flounder sandwich, $5 today, sometimes $6 cash for two huge pieces depending upon market price. They give you the tarter and lemon and tons of other condiments and spices to put on yourself, just how you like it, before they neatly wrap it up and bag it for you. I always tip them two bucks. Been coming and thankful for them for the last 25 years when they used to be a block south. There are similar looking joints but none nearly as consistently good as Dyre Fish is. I have tried so many, hoping. It is the oil they dont allow to be used too long and the fresh fish picked up daily at Hunts Point Fish Market. And the prices have barely gone up in all that time.“
