“Tbh the gluten free muffin was divine. I thought I had the best gf banana bread recipe but this put me in my place. I would have never known it was buckwheat/gluten free. So moist and fluffy and the perfect sweetness.
There’s a short wait if you’re getting a burrito but there was no line or wait for a baked good.
Their prices are steep-ish but fair given their popularity. The muffin after tax was $6.50.

“We absolutely LOVE this bakery especially how they consistently use the freshest ingredients. Their items are out of this world, hands down. The staff is usually so wonderful and helpful. However, today (Saturday November 15), there was this one female staff member (brunette, eye glasses) who was helping folks with the baked goods, and she was extremely rude and even rolled her eyes at us. Her negative and awful attitude was absolutely palpable. I don't think she realizes that she exudes such a horrible attitude, and for the sake of not turning off customers, we hope the management can have a talk with her. “I visited Yummy Tummy bakery for the first time today, with five other friends of mine to support a Black-owned business during Black History Month. The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. The sweets themselves were absolutely delicious. The fruity pebble cupcake particularly was the perfect amount of sweet, moist, and airy. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d definitely recommend you stop by!“

“I love their shrimp po'boy. It has a dash of raisins which add a nice sweetness to it. This time I got a red velvet slice of cake and that was delicious.
