“This bakery is awesome! The inside is adorable and the baked goods are amazing. We had a blueberry rosemary cheesecake kouign aman and it was one of the best pastries I’ve ever eaten.

There’s a few seats in the shop which was nice to enjoy our treats. Surprisingly not super busy on a Saturday morning but I can’t imagine that will last long!“

do not believe anyone that says the sandwiches are bad bc my partner, family, friends and I have all frequented this and the GP location and tried everything. I’m not joking when I say I’ve tried every item here. And everything is phenomenal

“Yet another amazing bakery in Downtown Brooklyn, more specifically in Prospect Heights. The place is small but has pretty hefty variety of savory and sweet backing goods, some of which are pretty unique. I really liked from the savory offering kimchi bun and from the sweets is peach Danish. The croissants are one of the most delicious that I was ever had. Also they have seriously good coffee, I mean like really really good with a bold flavor without being overturned. The place is quite popular so expect some line standing especially in the morning, especially on a weekend. I definitely will be back for more.“

“Everything I've had here has been exceptional - usually getting a few pastries and maybe a sandwich. Love that you can get super high quality pastries with seasonally focused ingredients and interesting + well balanced flavors with less of the line / chaos of similar places like radio or l'apartment. Laurel is better in my opinion too! Many fruit pastries let the fruit flavor get overpowered by the general sweetness but not here. Not sure what the complaints about the staff/slowness are about, the person working the counter has always been kind and patient, and there hasnt been much of a line in my experience.“

“Best cakes I’ve ever had! Moist, dense, with the most decadent cream icing. Gorgeous too and photograph very well. So many unique flavors. The shop is a quiet, sunny place to spend an afternoon and the whole cake orders have never disappointed! I’ve gotten 3 birthday cakes from byClio (the first was off Instagram, before they even had a shop) and always look forward to the next year. So happy to see this business thriving. Al Aqsa is well-deservedly famous for their shawarma. It's crispy, salty, and filling. Of equal stature is their falafel. Not to mention, they offer freshly baked Palestinian bread loaves and ka'ak for people looking to bring fresh Palestinian baked goods home.

“I think it's crazy how this place literally made every other supermarket go out of business with its consistently good food and fresh produce/ bakery / amazing gyros I mean could this place literally get any better. “The bagels are really good. I grew up out of NY. We had bagels we thought were good. Then I came to NY and realized what bagels were supposed to taste like. Bagel Hole bagels are top notch. Of the best kosher bagels in NY. The sandwiches are good, service is slow and that could be due to demand and they need to focus on consistently cleaning the restaurant. They improve their speed and clean consistently, I change my rating to a 5.“

“Stopped by Ceremonia this morning and grabbed their biscuit sandwich (no bacon) for breakfast. It came out in just a few minutes, and the staff was really kind and welcoming. The sandwich itself was epic. It was huge, with a runny sunny-side egg that made it feel dramatic and so satisfying. I was hoping for decaf coffee, but they only had tea, so I skipped the drink this time. Took my sandwich over to McCarren for a little picnic, which was the perfect way to start the morning. I also picked up one of their cookies to share with my husband later I can’t wait to try it.“

“This is a really great and tasty treat bakery. They have lots of daily prepared fresh pastries on display. Their coffee taste awesome as well. I got also a walnut cookie very nice taste. They are only take out....will definitely be back and try something else when im in the area. On another note their front service workers are not very friendly, but I went and gave the 5 stars on account of their products.“

“Interior/outside terrace: the interior is very functional, very few inside seating options. But it’s not like a comfy café. They do have a small outside seating area, which is nice, nothing special, but if you get a table there, you can enjoy your croissants in the sun.

Food quality/price: good selection of savoury & sweet food, very delicious. I got an earl grey bun & a pistachio croissant. Both very delicious, like out of another world. Loved them. I found their food to be quite expensive.
Suggestion: why not making tiny versions of the different treats (to a smaller price as well of course), so solo-visitors can try more delicious treats?

“Tasty cafe for a quick bite. Staff was very friendly and even helped us find seats. Not a ton of seating, hard to find more than two seats together. The everything croissant with lox was very good; it looked small for the price but I found it quite filling. Coffee was good too!“

“My bbq roast pork bun had so little meat, I ate 3/4 of it before getting one tiny bite with the meat.

I also found hair inside my dumpling.

Their buns are fluffy and delicious and dumplings are seasoned good. The food tastes good I just wish they didn’t skimp as much.“

“We absolutely LOVE this bakery especially how they consistently use the freshest ingredients. Their items are out of this world, hands down. The staff is usually so wonderful and helpful. However, today (Saturday November 15), there was this one female staff member (brunette, eye glasses) who was helping folks with the baked goods, and she was extremely rude and even rolled her eyes at us. Her negative and awful attitude was absolutely palpable. I don't think she realizes that she exudes such a horrible attitude, and for the sake of not turning off customers, we hope the management can have a talk with her. “We came from Baltimore all the way the Catskills and stopped into the bakery on a whim and OMG! So much deliciousness!! I needed some of everything and the owner couldn't be nicer. Definitely a must-stop shop if you're in the area. The babka is thick with so many delicate, chocolatey layers. The sugar cookies were super soft and moist and the donuts super fresh with the perfect texture. Highly recommend!!“

I’ve been so disappointed with grocery stores for the past few years, even organic is tasteless or never reaches ripeness and with a baby, I do not have the time to go to farmers markets. I got my first order delivered today and I was so blown away by the quality and freshness of the produce. I could smell the strawberries almost from the next room, the nectarines were beautifully ripe and full of flavor. The cheese was delicious.

I can’t wait to try everything else I bought! This time was just a test order but I absolutely will be buying all of my produce and dairy from Farm to People from now on. And half of the money goes directly to the farmers?! Seriously, what’s not to love. Finally I can feed my family some REAL, good food.“

“Best babka I’ve ever had, ohhhh my goodness. Best bakery I’ve been to in a long time, and I am bakery-obsessed. Already dreaming of how and when I can make my way back to Park Slope just for this and the super chocolate-chip cookie. But that babka, this subtle mix of Nutella and chocolate (I don’t even like Nutella) and the smooth, moistness of it all is so perfect, with this sugared little crispy bottom. Shoutout to Omri, a talented stop-motion artist working his last week, who was so warm and helpful to me.
