“Panzón in Greenpoint is such a delightful spot! I had the chance to sit outside, and it was the perfect setting for a relaxed, sunny meal. The atmosphere is casual, welcoming, and full of energy, making it a lovely place to enjoy food with friends or family.

The food was absolutely delicious. I started with the street corn, which was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and the ideal combination of smoky, creamy, and tangy. For my main, I tried a few of the tacos, and each one was packed with fresh ingredients and bold, vibrant flavors. The balance of textures and seasonings in each taco made every bite a little celebration of authentic Mexican street food.

The staff was friendly and attentive, creating a comfortable dining experience that made the meal even more enjoyable. Sitting outside in the fresh air while enjoying such tasty dishes added an extra layer to the experience — it felt relaxed, fun, and unhurried.

And always seems to be very overcooked or undercooked to the point that it's inedible. I really hope they bring back the old ingredients because it used to be my fav dish to order!“

You can feel the intention behind everything at Bar Americano from the weight of the glassware to the garnish on the drink to the playlist. They care about the little things that make up the whole experience. It's the kind of place you bring an out of town friend to show them what a real Brooklyn bar feels like. “I went to El Pingüino about two weeks ago and absolutely loved that they offer happy hour seven days a week and it’s becoming a routine for us!
The hours are 4–7 PM, plus a late-night happy hour from 10 PM to midnight.

Their seafood happy hour is pretty simple they only offer one type of oyster but it was super fresh and delicious. Clean, lightly briny, and perfect with just a squeeze of lemon.

And they have really great basque cheesecake!

The overall vibe is relaxed and easygoing, making it a great spot to unwind after work or grab a late-night drink.

“when my husband and i had our civil ceremony we decided to come to Elsa’s for drinks with close friends and family. let me tell you, it did not disappoint. we decided to ring in the new year at this special place and once again, it was amazing. great cocktail, service, and atmosphere.“

“Drove an hour just to come here for Premier League Morning. The bar was packed, drinks were flowing and the staff was having a grand time with patrons. Ordered the fish and Chips and a Heineken, my buddy got the Full Irish Breakfast, some wings, and a couple beers. The Cod beer batter was fantastic, super crispy fish that melts in your mouth. The buffalo sauce on the wings was also tasty. Prices are great for cash customers as well. My only negative is that when the door keeps opening the place starts FREEZING especially at the bar area but quickly warms up again when closed. Honestly a gem of a sports bar.“

“I hosted the after party for my wedding at Lavender Lake and it did not disapoint. The space was huge and affordable for a semi private area. They even had a DJ there that night who was so much fun. I highly recommend this space if you need to host a party in the area!“

“Came here to meet up with friends on a Thursday night (9/29). I had a blast with the staff behind the bar, the staff walking around clearing the tables and person behind the desk after you show the door person your ID. I enjoyed my drinks, green daiquiri shots for the table and not to mention the DJ!!!!!! The DJ did not miss a beat LITERALLY. My eight girlfriends and I were dancing unapologetically and barely sat in our seats. They had complimentary water set up near the food truck order window. Pizza was a great fit with the drinks. 10/10 for sure, loved the random dance battles and participation by the staff. Since we had a large party size, the staff helped arrange/combine tables so we could be comfortable and sit with one another. “Union Hall is one of the best venues we have ever performed at. Not only is it a fun and charming place, the staff are super hospitable, friendly, and accommodating. From planning to execution, Nora and Neel were very courteous and helpful. On the day of, Erin, Neel, and even the security guard Danny let us in an hour before our contract stated and helped us get set up early. Nothing but compliments and recommendations for these guys!“

“Very hip spot to work from or just to hang with friends in the lounge area. We had a couple light snacks (fries and beer salad) one night which were good. Breakfast items were average. Avoid the matcha, it was the clumpiest I've ever had and had to throw it out as it was not drinkable.“

“This is a cool spot and often has a great crowd. You can catch the football games on the projector. Please be warned, they force a 20% gratuity on your bill even just sitting at the bar. Maybe they do this because people don't enjoy tipping for extremely slow service which you will probably encounter. (The bartender with the glasses is pretty good though) On top of that, they nickel and dime you with a 2.5% credit card surcharge. I have never seen that at a bar before.“

“We held a rehearsal dinner for my son and daughter in law at the Silverlight Tavern and everything was absolutely 10 Star Perfect!! The food, the party room, the bartender and the management were all so wonderful and made our event the perfect opening for a fantastic wedding weekend! I can’t thank you enough!!!“

“I was here recently with a friend during Liberty playoffs and when we arrived all the TVs had baseball on. My friend, thinking there was no way they’d change one for us, asked the bartender if there was anywhere around showing the Liberty game. He immediately hopped to, got the game turned on for us, was extremely accommodating and kind when we thought we might get the side eye. Such sweet guys and they have old speckled hen on tap & walker’s crisps to boot. What’s not to love? Brought my friend from London the following week and we had a great time. Good vibes all around.“

My Boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday at Jr & Sons. We sat at the bar and had the most wonderful experience with the bartenders Max and Brenda. The host JJ was also incredibly friendly and checked on us as we were sitting close to her at the end of the bar.
The food was Phenomenal! We went all out with the Big Ice which is a beautiful array of different raw bar items. The broiled octopus was absolute perfection.
We then moved to the burrata ravioli which were like little cheesy pillows with crispy prosciutto on top.
Then the whole Branzino arrived and we truly COULD NOT STOP EATING IT! I knew we had to have dessert and the staff pick seemed to be the chocolate pistachio sundae. It knocked our socks off, I don't know what magical sorcery is in that ice cream but it will keep us coming back. Thank you to the entire staff for a wonderful evening and we will be sure to comeback to our favorite new restaurant in Williamsburg!“

“Altar is a hidden gem in Brooklyn. It is such a quaint space that is packed with well crafted cocktails and some of the best small bites in Brooklyn. Altar has a very distinct personality and you will notice it upon entering. First timers will really feel like they have discovered something special and will definitely be back.“
