“We hosted a private party in the Honey Lounge upstairs during the afternoon - the food was excellent, the space adorable and the bartenders friendly and speedy. More than anything, Bee's Knees was a dream to work with ahead of time - they were incredibly flexible and timely with space access, design of the space, and answering our multitude of questions. I would host a private party there again in a heartbeat.“

“A fun little cocktail bar, eclectic and maybe just slightly indecisive, they have a mixture of frozen and handmade cocktails, a few beers and wines. The theme is a cross between Asian and Latin - they feature tacos, have a heavily tequila-influenced menu, and also lots of Asian decorations as well as sake. It’s a fun spot, the cocktails maybe slightly expensive for the vibe, but upbeat and cheery.“

“From start to finish, planning a birthday party for 45 here was straightforward, friendly, and low stress. Dana and her team were professional, but personal and always responsive with a smile. The venue has a lovely, warm, eclectic vibe that requires little extra decoration, which made planning the whole thing even easier. The layout was perfect for the flow of the party. The quality of the food/drinks and service were fabulous (appetizers through dessert) and the servings were plentiful. I used several of the vendors recommended by Dana for balloons, flowers and the DJ. Every one was easy to work with, delivered as promised, and were familiar with the venue, so that I did not have to worry about coordinating anything! My guests and I had a marvelous, memorable, super fun evening (we could have danced the whole night away!); everything went very smoothly. I would throw another party there, no question!“

I completed the dishes mentioned above in the restaurant and tasted a little bite then takeout the rest of dishes: Acorn Squash Salad, Loster Roll, and Beef Tartare.

Alejandro C and attendances assisted me during the meal. I also shared a prior experience and he confirmed with the owner that my billing would be handled appropriately this time. I promised him I’ll return back.

“interior was. ute, service was great and the food was amazing. they actually live up to the hype and it has now easily become a fave restaurant of mine! the mackerel toast was top tier and that’s coming from someone that doesn’t eat mackerel like that.

we also enjoyed the black miso cod a lot. it was very soft and had a nice smokey flavor when you’re taking a bite. highly recommend ordering it.

the hiramasa was also a favorite. the flavor profile was 10/10 but i wish they gave more slices of fish cause 4 pieces feels like JAIL. minimum should be 6 imo

we got the chicken and their striped bass special as well and while those are good i think they’re not MUST orders though still very delicious. my top 3 would be mackerel toast, hiramasa and the black cod“

“Be sure to check out karaoke on Mondays. The karaoke system they use is Karafun. It has a wide selection of songs. The karaoke mics are a little faulty, meaning they will go in and out during your songs.
All the Bartenders are no-nonsense, so it does feel pretty strict, but I'd rather that bartenders who chat too much with their friends and always take smoke breaks...
Drinks are reasonably priced, and the alcohol pour is sometimes too weak.“

“One of my favorite bars in the neighborhood. Their fries are 💯 must haves! Just hosted my birthday there yesterday and had the best birthday party ever ✨ everyone had such a great time and The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Josh was so patient and great at planning the food and drinks with me prior it made everything easy.They also have a nice outdoor space in the back.

I came here on a whim after going to a very pretentious bar & a terrible date. So happy I stumbled here because it was exactly what I needed. I came late and just came for cocktail & it was really dark. The service was friendly and I enjoyed the vibe of the place. I don’t have many pictures but will definitely be putting this place on favorites if I’m in the area again. I also love how dimly lit it is! Highly recommend.“

“Really shockingly good Sichuan food. The mala flavor was really delightful, it was really pleasantly numbing and incredibly flavorful. We got the dry pot baby rib and kung pao chicken lunch specials and both were quite excellent. The kung pao chicken really stood out to me as being particularly flavorful and nicely spiced. The interior of the resturant was also gorgeous and not too busy during lunch hours.“

“Spent Valentine’s at Bar Francis and I’m so glad my partner planned this! Frank was our server and he honestly raised the bar for every server I will ever interact with in the future - He had phenomenal recommendations (tailored down to how to pair the oysters with the right combination of sauces). He knows the menu so very well + so very genuinely personable and perceptive :)

In terms of drinks - do not miss the the ‘I know it when I see it’, ‘Stop Bidding on my Waffle Iron’, ‘Call it Cosy Please’.

“Amazing time. Came into town for the weekend with my BF who is new to the whole NY scene. We decided to pull up. Got there around 8pm and immediately found seats next to the manager Sharifa. She was so hospitable and made us feel like part of the bar fam. By 11pm it was standing room only. Drinks were amazing. Music was amazing. The whole vibe was dope. We'll see y'all on the next trip. The bar’s all elbows and leaning in. But the booths—that’s where it happens. Curved little velvet coves. You sit too close and knock knees if you want to. And you do.

Once, in one of these booths, someone handed me a Shohei Ohtani baseball card from Japan. Just passed it across the table like it was nothing. But it wasn’t. It felt like the start of a weird, great story. Maybe it was.“

We had so many items off the menu and the staff was very attentive to allergies and other food preferences. The tea smocked duck was incredible, the cucumber was amazing, the wontons were delicious! Everyone loved their dish it was absolutely a great dinner. The only downside was that some of the fish dishes were made with tilapia which is not a fish preference for most of the friends I was with.
