I love their creative breakfast sandwich options, and the vibe was pure NYC energy. I got the pastrami, egg, and cheese on a challah bun, and it was exceptional. Perfectly balanced, rich, and just messy enough in the best way. 10 out of 10. I’ll definitely be back.“

My only wish is that they had some more vegeterian options since apart from the egg banh mi, there is nothing else. The other thing would be accepting card payments. But overall great food, service and prices.“

“A little gem. This small spot with a beautiful back patio squeezed in a group of 10 or so. The mushroom pizza was all we had but was 5/5 and worth a trip. Their dough is so light and pillowy but with crisp edges and a fantastic bite. The toppings on the mushroom pizza were perfectly seasoned and a very nice ratio (not overpowering the cheese or dough). Honestly though, the dough was special and is worth the trip to explore their other pizzas. Next time we come we will absolutely get a few pies and take home whatever is left. But if everything is as good as that mushroom pizza, there's small chance of leftovers.“

“Classic Brooklyn joint serving one of the best roast beef sandwiches in town! But I would have to say the western burger also packs a solid punch. You can’t go wrong with any of the items here honestly. But our go to’s are always the roast beef sandwich, western beef burger, crown fritters, chicken wings, and orangeade drink! You also have the option to put cheese on anything! If you have a young one, ask one of the cashiers for a free ballon. If happens to be your birthday, you get to spin the giant wheel for a chance to win $5-$20 prize for next time use. Also, if you spend more than $45 per order, you can get a free pizza. The inside dining area seems like it’s still stuck in the 1990s, but I’m fine with that!“

“It's a very old fashioned place. I was the only black person in there when I walked in, but was treated just as wonderful as anyone else. Cash only, the register is extremely old. (I remember seeing a similar one at a diner in Long Island, but they renovated and stored the old one in the basement.)The parking lot holds about 8 to 10 cars. It's not plenty of parking, but at least you can park without worrying about the meter. The servers are awesome. They really seem to know their job. As soon as someone gets up they wipe the table and then seat whoever is next at a table. I got the roast beef sandwich with cheese and onions double dipped and cheese fries. I asked the server which should I order between the onions rings and cheese fries and he picked the cheese fries. The food was fantastic and much cheaper than all the other restaurants that sell french dip. French dip is simply a roast beef sandwich that you can dip in a sauce that has beef stock with some seasoning. The drinks come in a paper cup, unless it's beer (which is served in a mug). I suppose it's less dishes, but it just looks odd compared to how the rest of the meal is served on small plates. The price for the sandwich and the cheese fries with tax came up to less than $20. I'm not complaining, give them a try.“

“I've been wanting to try this place for awhile since seeing IG posts showing the yummy food. I was in the area and stopped by around noon, after it just opened, so the line was short. I wanted to order everything, but was by myself, so i only got the chicken katsu sando and it was so good! The fried chicken was crispy and the milk bread was so soft and fresh. It was a very large portion, for me anyways, and I was full after just eating half. I also wanted to try the tamago egg salad sandwich too, but will save that for next time when my gf is here. They have a nice outdoor patio to sit and eat, but i took it to go.“

1 of 1 Sandwich Sandwich Shop • $
82 5th Ave, Brooklyn

“The food speaks for itself: stellar! This is the kind of spot that will soon have folks queuing up, I have no doubt. We got the Ashley’s 1 of 1 and the No Sleep Til Gravesend. The bread is super fresh and for me that’s a great start, you’d be surprised how places punk out on the bread. Next the flavors, for me the Gravesend tastes like a French dip with the au jus already in the sandwich- the roast beef is so flavorful! The Ashley is the perfect Italian sandwich if you love chicken but don’t really love cold cuts, and the dressing they use is the cherry on top! Try it before they get super famous and you have to stand on line to get one!!!“
