“I typically don’t leave google reviews but I just had to stop by to give this space their flowers. I reserved an outdoor table to celebrate by birthday for 20 guests in the late afternoon. The service for one was amazing. It was like having our own personal sommelier. They brought over wines based on our stated preferences, food, and clean glasses to replace the old throughout the afternoon into the evening. When we arrived, Sauced was backed with guests, seated out front, inside, and outback. The vibe was just so welcoming and inviting and high spirited. You can tell they’ve built an amazing community of patrons over the years. I just can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed celebrating my birthday here so thank you Sauced. Consider hosting a special event or simply popping in with a friend or two to enjoy their amazing selection of wines.“

We had the river dog oysters for an appetizer, we split a mickeys salad, and a meg Ryan pizza, espresso was great. The pear brandy was great with the ice cream. Will definitely go back.“

You know a restaurant is excellent when all you’ve had is their artisanal bread served with homemade butter, homemade yogurt turned into a dip, and homemade mortadella—yes, mortadella— and you’re thinking, “wow, I could eat just this, served with a bottle of wine…. I’d be more than satisfied.” And, also at this point thinking “when am I going to come back?”

Not your typical kebab affair. It’s better. I promise. I was introduced to a world of Persian food I’ve never had at a restaurant before at a level of quality that is reserved for fine dining establishments.

This is an elevated dining experience that is meant to be shared. And yes, there is a vibe too. Attention to detail with every dish that the chef explained to me is painstakingly made from scratch —yogurts, marinades, preparation taking days, with ingredients sourced locally. Warm, knowledgeable staff to boot, too.

The drink menu is legit. Think Persian twists on classic drinks—-but executed well, where other twists often fail. The best espresso martini in Williamsburg. Perhaps the city. My wife said the best she’s ever had.“

Waygu kebobs were tender and cooked to the perfect temp.

Lamb ribs fell off the bone. Sweet and a subtle kick.

The half chicken was moist with crispy skin and saffron rice was the best side.“

“Amazing Turkish food - definitely some of the best lamb chops and octopus I’ve had in years. The Rana Table deal was awesome, offering a perfect way to sample all eight appetizers along with four additional mezzes. With four people we got 2 entrees to share and the portions were just right.

I gave the food five stars, though I do wish there had been more dessert options to finish off the meal—we couldn’t get enough of the pistachio lady finger!“

If you do sneak in 😂 you will find friendly people serving OUTSTANDING food (small, careful menu) in a house that Jazz built.

Jazz folks this is the real deal. Everyone else should just come and enjoy the magic of live music.

Pro tip: come early for a seat for the 1st set or arrive late to get a seat by the 2nd set (most likely).

Vegetarian options: Small menu so check beforehand. My 2 vegetarians were fine.

“The food at Djondjon is spot on.... This restaurant is a jewel. The food is amazing, and the hospitality is off the chart. There is free jazz often enough. The quality far surpasses the price. I love their pasta, their fish and their goats which come in various varieties. Their appetizers are yummy. I will continue to patronize this place. I had my Cabrit boukannen ( grilled goat) and it really pleased my taste buds.“

Great romantic atmosphere, loved the music.. our server Jess, who I think owns the restaurant made me an amazing mocktail. “I ordered Guacamole & Chips as an appetizer, then I ordered the Cheese burger for my meal. The chips were house made, so good & the Guacamole was just how I like it. Not too thick, on the creamy side & I could taste the lemon/lime . The burger was no ordinary burger. It was massive for a great price . Very juicy & EXTREMELY well seasoned in every single bite. I could only finish half but I'm so happy to have left overs . lol They don't have fries and that was kind of disappointing but they do have house fried potatoes which made up for it. They were so good , I didn't even need ketchup . Atmosphere is great, great service, loved it all the way around . Definitely coming back !“

“We come here every Sunday for brunch before hitting up the farmers market. It’s the perfect execution of comfort food that doesn’t make you feel heavy after.

The dim sum menu is small but has all the favorites, and they do it really well. Their congee is my favorite and great for hangovers. Both chicken and veggie versions are clean yet flavorful. Dumplings are juicy and have a nice skin that’s not too thick but thick enough (giggidy).

Veggie dishes are bomb. Honestly everything is tasty and priced well. The restaurant is small but not cramped. It allows the service to be more attentive. This place good I like.“

“On vacation in New York for 2 weeks, we went to have lunch in this restaurant, quite by chance. Don’t hesitate! There were 5 of us, 2 young parents who live there, with a baby in a pram and 2 happy grandparents. The establishment is small, but superb, very beautiful decor, and the value for money for New York is really great. The boss is French, very friendly, as are all his staff. “This is a gem in Brooklyn. Absolutely perfectly curated- you walk into an off-the-path speakeasy that you’d find perhaps in the 4th Arrondissment, or perhaps a jazz lounge in Marseille… and when you enter the backyard you are in Tulum.

The drinks are expert and the oyster bar offering is perfection.“

“I got takeout the other night—braised beef & noods, eastern cukes, congee and the cabbage special. I have no words. Well, I guess I do—happy dance mouth explosions. “I loved this spot from the moment I walked in! Very intimate and beautiful space. Food was delicious and the drinks were fantastic. They played Mariah Carey for us the entire time and gave us complimentary shots. Very friendly staff and everyone there you could tell enjoyed their job. Cannot wait to come back!

“Come here every few weeks for Karaage and some other Japanese snacks. Hidden gem in the neighborhood and really all of Brooklyn. Chicken is always super fresh and cheap, the other menu items are pricier but still really well done. Can find some interesting sake here too. Highly recommend overall, need more places like this in BK.“

“This ramen shop is a gem to the Greenpoint community. I am on my second visit, and have not been disappointed with the quality of the food. The chicken broth which is difficult to make has been carefully cooked, the noodles are not over cooked, and the combined ingredients to my Chicken pai tan ramen was enjoyable.

I do wish I had one more piece of chicken breast meat in my ramen because it was cooked perfectly. Yet another ingredient that is difficult to cook if not carefully monitored. Trust me I made alot of rubber chicken meals and still do.

“My favourite bar in Brooklyn. Celene is a warm and gracious host who makes everyone feel welcome. It’s clear that this bar is a pillar of the neighborhood, as I had many great interactions with locals and regulars who keep returning for the incredible cocktails, delicious food and almost nightly special events. There is a real sense of community and I know if I lived anywhere nearby this would be my local spot after work. Highly recommend attending one of the live music events or Karaoke!“

“This bar is my favorite neighborhood spot! I come here every other week to chill and enjoy great drinks.

The cold brew martini is my go-to. The bartender always nails it, and the quality never changes.

They also serve Spanish and Japanese food, and I’ve got tons of favorites: grilled salmon with cream sauce, fried calamari, takoyaki, seafood spaghetti, gyu don beef, and more.
