“A gem of a restaurant! Everything was fantastic. The won ton soup with their homemade wontons is the best. My wife had garlic chicken, very flavorful. I had Singapore Mei Fun that was great! All this with a free pot of wonderful Chinese tea and 6 orange slices. Awesome service too!“

“There's no better Chinese food take-out in Western NY. Great quality and quantity. Best prices. Always served hot and it's double packaged to keep it hot until you get home. We love the Sesame chicken and fantastic boneless spare ribs. We go once or twice a month. Food is always hot and ready before the promised wait period. Never had to wait more than 15 minutes from the time you call or order at the counter. Genuine supreme Chinese cooking.... Fast and hot!“

“Great Customer service!! They accidently overcharged me yesterday and I didn't even know. My husband ordered and I was just picking it up....THEY noticed and called me the next day and asked me to come back in so they can refund me!! They could have kept my $26 but didn't. Plus the food is ALWAYS good!“

“Very poor experience... waiter was disinterested and his attitude was like he is doing a favour by serving us inspite of the restaurant having only 3 tables occupied. No recommendations offered nor did he check whether the food is good or not. Dynamite shrimps were cut into tiny pieces, not sure why it was done also it was overdone with very little dynamite sauce. Asked for sushi and were told it is sold out as it is a very busy day!! Not even halfway through our meal and the waiter asked if we wanted desserts, told him to give us sometime. He never came back to ask again. He then went on to drop a few boxes on the table even though we did not want to take out the food as it was quite poor. It was a birthday dinner and nothing was done... so much for mentioning it at our reservation Overall an appealing experience at PF changs and rest assured will not be returning in a hurry to this location.“

“I have been going here since I was a child. Beef and broccoli is the only thing I order and it is always delicious. They used to be cash only but now they accept cards. Lunch is affordable at around $10 a lunch special. Highly recommend if you want good Chinese food in South Buffalo.“

“I have been "chasing a high" of crispy General Tso's with a specific style sauce and fried rice for a handful of years. I came across this location and had to try the General Tso's. NIRVANA! I had finally found the sauce/crispy combo I had been searching for that I was used to eating growing up in Eastern Erie County. The staff are nice, food is quick and I like sitting at the table looking out the window while I enjoy lunch. It's one dish, to my preferences, but I'd recommend you trying it!“

“I’ve been temporarily in the area, and this is where I’ve dined for the past week.
After 3pm they serve out bbq pork ribs and a few other good meats. The ribs aren’t that tender but they get the job done, they do go light on the bbq sauce but you can ask the woman on the grill and she’ll serve you more.
In overall this is one of the best chinese buffets I’ve visited.“

“Love the family friendly at-home feel. The food is always made quickly, they always answer the phone quickly and are very kind. I always get an egg roll included with my order. Amazing customer service here, great food, and pretty good prices. I have been going here since 2021. I always get the general tso chicken but the chicken wings are a 10/10 as well. And they use brown rice i love that“
“This is the BEST restaurant in buffalo and my favorite. I've been eating here for 16 years since my high school days at McKinley. Even when I moved to Georgia I always come back to eat here. Theyare the ONLY Chinese restaurant that makes beef and broccoli & crab sticks the the way I like them. ???“

“I enjoy the lunch special white rice with vegetables but that's here and there with garlic sauce mixed in. The one woman and the older man I believe they're the owners and are cordial. So far so good no issues with me or my orders in the past or present.“
“Hidden gem in the commons. Why even get food from CDS anymore? They’ll fill your box up unlike One World, half of what they give you here for around the same price. What I got here is like $12. And the food is pretty decent. Here’s how you save money.“

“Food was actually some of the better Chinese food that I’ve had in Buffalo. I got chicken lo mein, fried chicken rice, orange chicken, and vegetable spring rolls and everything was very good. Orange chicken were large chicken chunks. Lo mein very good and the fried chicken rice was very good was yellow rice and really liked it. Service was great and right to the point. Atmosphere was horrible but this is mostly a takeout place so it’s not supposed to be the most fine decor.“

“As is tradition, my girl and I got some Christmas Chinese food, and this place just happened to be close. I checked the reviews, and I almost skipped this place due to the negative reviews. I wanted to give some fair feedback on both the food and our experience.
First, the service was like most Chinese food spots; food is ready in about 15 minutes. They told me as much, but it only took a little under 10. The woman was very nice and courteous. I have nothing bad to say except..
The price. Most things were a dollar or two more expensive than the menu, and as some other reviews have mentioned, they do skimp a little bit on the protein portions. I understand that everything is expensive now, but I spent $65. On this one issue, I think they could do better.
So how is the food? It's about as good as any other local Chinese place. That's not to disparage them. It's what I expect when I go to these restaurants. I wasn't let down. In fact, I could tell that everything was cooked fresh except the wonton soup. That may have been on the heater a while as the wontons fell apart.
In addition to the Wonton Soup, we ordered General Tso, Beef Lo Mein, Sweet & Sour Pork, and Boneless Spare Ribs. Here's my thoughts on each of them.
-General Tso: It wasn't very crispy, but unlike a lot of places, they do serve it on a bed of broccoli, and the broccoli was perfect. I would otherwise say that this item was mid.
-Beef Lo Mein: This had some of the most tender strips of beef I've ever had in a beef lo mein. This was the real winner 10/10. My main issue was the amount of beef included.
-Boneless Spare Ribs: The strips of ribs were also tender, but I've never had it served on a bed of broccoli, and unlike the General Tso, they covered the entire bottom of the dish with broccoli which lead to far less meat than I would otherwise have gotten. It was very good, but I felt just a little bit gipped.
-Sweet and Sour Pork: These were great and didn't make the ride home. They were crispy, double fried, and delicious. I don't usually dip in sweet and sour sauce, so I have no review on it. The pork balls were good though!
-To sum it up, we had a good experience albeit costly. If I got the same quality for $10-15 less, or just a little more meat for the price paid, I would have given an additional star on all points.
Maybe my experience was different than these other people, or maybe they were expecting fine dining. This ain't that.“

“Very fast, very yummy Asian-American food at reasonable prices. They use Styrofoam "clamshell" containers, which I'm not a fan of (the old foldout boxes are better), but the portions are generous and they tend to be ready faster than they tell you (I only ever buy 1 or 2 dishes, they always say "5 minutes" and it's already done when I'm counting the last of minute 4). Staff are efficient and not discourteous. And the location is pretty convenient for the east side of Buffalo. Parking hasn't been an issue yet.“

“If you are looking for a famed 3 star Chinese place, this is it. You get authentic American Chinese food, and the Father and Son who own/operate the restaurant are polite and friendly.
*Quick disclaimer*
They are Cash Only and don't have indoor dinning.
All in all, a great place for cheap food on the go.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp into the restaurant at the entrance, but the counter is a little high for a wheelchair.“

“Miss Hot Cafe is going to be your new favorite place. This is my #1 go-to whenever I have visitors in town. The service is always fast, friendly, and we have only once experienced a wait. Our favorite dishes are the Spicy Chili Lamb, Shanghai dumplings, and Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. (They have a very long menu ranging from the traditional Americanized Chinese food menu items to authentic and unrecognizable.) Highly, highly recommend! Thank you Miss Hot!“

“Update on second visit: beef with onions and scallions and eggplant and wonton soup and Kung Pao shrimp alllllll very tasty. Looking forward to third visit. Highly recommended: I think this place is right up there with Home Taste, also on Delaware, for best authentically-Chinese food in Western New York. And they have "American Chinese" food for your friends who are not as adventurous as you. Plenty of space, attentive service without rushing, at least at lunch. Sliced fish with Chili Oil tender and properly spicy; Cumin Beef strongly flavored as it should be. Ham Hock with brown sauce (and bok Choy) tender and flavorful. Green beans a little al dente and crunchy inside while being singed on the outside. Will return!“
