“When in Buffalo this restaurant is a must, I am a steak lover, tonight I would say I had the best steak in my 72 years of my life. The NY 14oz was unbelievable. My compliments to the chef. Our server Jimmy, knows how to give helpful suggestions and great service. If I had the choice to pick higher than 5 stars, I would for sure pick higher. We were a party of two.“

“I grew up on Fillmore, they were a lot of iconic small local businesses around that died out went the changes in the city. This was one of them, and now they're BACK!! And it tastes the same, same family same recipe.
This is not like steak subs you get from all the common places. It's old school, very hearty and juicy, it's pretty much from a lost culture. Rick's, it's good to have you home.“

“Had a great time last Saturday night for dinner- lovely space, excellent drinks, and the food was terrific. I was happy to find somewhere that had a nice variety of options. My Beau had the king cut ribeye which was deliciously cooked and additional blue cheese was provided. It came with loaded mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. He expected the veggie to just be steamed broccoli but it was a fresh and wonderfully cooked medley of 7 or 8 vegetables. I ordered the McRib and upgraded my fries to truffle fries. The pork was perfectly cooked, their house bbq sauce delicious and the bun was nicely toasted. Fries were perfectly cooked well seasoned. The only minor complaint was they seemed a bit understaffed when we arrived, our waitress seemed to be the only one working the dining room but was perfectly friendly. Will return!“

“Overall, we had a pleasant experience, but with a few improvements the evening could have felt much more elevated. Starting with the positives: The service was excellent. Our server was attentive, friendly, and very polite throughout the night. They made sure our requests were taken care of and contributed greatly to the overall experience. The food was also very enjoyable, especially the beef rib, which was one of the standout dishes of the evening. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The meat was cooked perfectly and prepared exactly to the level of doneness we requested. There were, however, a few areas that could be improved. The atmosphere and ambiance felt somewhat lacking. There was either no music playing or it was extremely quiet, so most of the evening we could mainly hear the humming of the fridge near the salad bar. It gave the restaurant a somewhat empty feeling and the overall energy felt muted, which made the experience feel less vibrant than it could have been. A few of the side dishes were also overly salty, particularly the fries, which were difficult to fully enjoy because of the seasoning level. I normally do not focus too much on décor, but the lighting was noticeably very bright. Rather than creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, it felt more like sitting under fluorescent lighting. I do not expect or even prefer a restaurant to be overly dim, but softer lighting would have helped create a more comfortable and intimate dining experience. These are relatively minor concerns and they did not take away from the evening as a whole. We still enjoyed our visit and would return, but with a few adjustments the experience could truly reach another level.“

“Giancarlo’s was absolutely incredible. We had our ceremony there and I truly cannot say enough amazing things about the entire experience. From the very beginning, Hannah, the event coordinator, was beyond phenomenal. She made everything feel easy, organized, and completely stress free. Every detail was handled so seamlessly and it honestly felt like she cared just as much about our day as we did. Everything went off without a hitch and that is not something you can say often when it comes to events like this. Tori, our server, was just as amazing. Attentive, kind, on top of everything without ever making us feel rushed or overwhelmed. She made sure we were taken care of every step of the way and brought such a great energy to the day. The food, the atmosphere, the service, all of it was top tier. You can tell this team takes so much pride in what they do and it shows in every single detail. “I have been here a number of times. I always get atleast a 2" thick piece of prime rib. I know exactly what I'm getting, warm outside, cool inside bunch of hot au jus! I took our whole company to eat and everyone was delighted and impressed! as always thank you for a great experience“

“I go at least once a month sometimes twice a month for dinner. But tonight was my worst dinner there ! 8 oz. Sirloin dinner, and half way through my dinner I found an eye lash or black hair in the steak juice on my plate. Couldn’t finish my dinner at all.“

“Bobby our server did a great job making sure our first time there was a good experience. He was a pleasure to have as a server, drinks were good and so was the food. We ordered a sirloin and buttermilk chicken sandwich. My only complaint is.....why is the sauce menu so limited ?? I mean I can help longhorn come up with some sauces if needed. Dont even have to pay me up front, I'll take the royalties quarterly 🫶🏾.“

“Went to the Amherst NY location for my birthday on September 30th, our waitress Rachel was fantastic! She’s extremely personable, knowledgeable and caring. The manager is also excellent. My hubby ordered a blooming onion that Rachel reordered on her own, the second one was perfect! The manager even came out and spoke to us. We weren’t and didn’t complain at all but they made sure our visit was memorable and it was. I highly recommend this location, food, service and staff was excellent! “The best steakhouse in the area. Everytime I've come here, the steak is a high-quality cut seared to perfection with seasonings that elevate and compliment the flavor and texture of the meat. A bit more expensive than other restaurants in the area but worth the money if you are looking for a superlative steak dinner.“
