“My daughter and me stopped last Saturday. The prices weren't expensive, the coffee good. We both had the Reubens crepe. My daughter felt the atmosphere gave off a positive vibe. We're definitely going to be back!! My daughter said she plans on coming back with her friends.“

“Ok... this place is good! They make drinks perfectly and the food isn't bad either. The only negative is, they are so popular they run out of donuts and muffins and bagels by the afternoon. Staff is friendly!Oh real quick...if you buy ANY drink out of the cooler, check the date 1st.“

Located on a beautiful pedestrian street and facing a bookstore.Kid-friendliness: Our 2 year daughter made friends with some other kids and they laughed the whole time playing in the open-ish space.“

“Absolutely love this place! Full disclosure: it gets busy, it can get full fast and this location doesn't have a great waiting area. That said I feel like parking can be easier than the Schenectady location and if you have to wait there are cute shops that can occupy your time. The food and staff are wonderful and anything you get to drink will be amazing. It's fun to do the full afternoon tea service, with a mimosa flight and overall it's a delightful experience.“

“Such a great coffee shop! Got a double shot latte and a "jalapeno popper" bagel (Plain bagel with a jalapeno cream cheese spread).The coffee was amazing and so was the bagel! Highly recommended. Also, the aesthetic of that shop is very trendy and modern. When we went the place was hoppin'. Very friendly staff. They have a large variety of home made pastries and other snacks.Additional Tip: they have limited parking right next to the shop (3 parallel parking spot with a 15 minute line) but then tons of parking in the back! Enjoy!!!“

“My Wife and I were biking the Empire State trail and rode by it early today. Stopped in for some great breakfast sandwiches! We were treated so nicely by everyone inside, including some locals who came by for food. Highly recommend this little gem ? ?“

“VFGS is my Thursday place to be for lunch with an old friend. The atmosphere is welcoming and eclectic; there is always new and interesting merchandise to peruse. But...the food is what always brings us back...oat milk chai, lemon scones, chocolate chip sea salt cookies and the breakfast sandwich with turkey sausage...and chicken salad and soups that change weekly and are all delicious! The staff is friendly and efficient and remembers your name and your preferences. A hidden jewel in our community that I am so grateful for!“

“Nice coffee shop in a hip area on Jay St. Owner and service are friendly. Good atmosphere. Pricing is average for coffee. Ordered a lg hot Skybar and 1 lg iced Smore's and was disappointed on the flavor profiles. Not sure if they forgot to flavor both coffee's but both tasted like straight espresso. The coffee was also bitter compared to most places which could mean a couple things but are easy fixes. I'll give them another try. On a street with 2 other coffee shops they need to make some minor adjustments and I think they'll be a hit!“

“The best Starbucks around. Excellent customer service. Staff is so friendly and welcoming. I usually do a mobile order and they always say hi and have a nice day when running in to grab it. Most other locations don’t acknowledge you at all when picking up and order. Occasionally my drink may not taste right but they are always happy (they probably aren’t really happy but they act it at least!) to redo it.“

Reasonable costs and a good selection of brews, bagels, treats, and non coffee too.Parking: Majority of the convenience parking is shared with three other food/eatery places and a real estate place. Another food shop helps to fill in the spill over lot. Let's just say bring back carpooling!“

“It's Starbucks... Awesome.... This morning I had Pike Place with heavy cream and just a little sweetener and a Sausage Cheddar Egg Muffin... A very satisfying way to spend the morning ❤️... The staff is outstanding, prompt and friendly... This store has seating for conversation or work on a laptop including a conference table. Outlets for power and charging with USB A. I found the atmosphere busy but relaxing in a Starbucks kind of way... comfortable and relaxing.“

“This place peaked my interest because it is always jam packed when I come downtown on Sundays. Yesterday I decided to give it a try and all I can say is wow, I found my new favorite spot in Schenectady!I had a hard time choosing my Latte because so many sounded so good, but I went with one of their favorites on the chalk sign, the Baklava, YUM!!!! I got a banana muffin to go with it and a breakfast sandwich that had avocado and spring mix, and both were delicious. They told me the muffins are made there and you could tell, fresh and amazing. ♡While I was waiting for my food (which was not long, surprising with the line).I heard one of the staff from the kitchen talking with people as she brought their food, and I loved she knew so many people by name.They obviously have a lot of regulars, and I can see why! I feel heard and appreciated by this establishment.This is the kind of service we all deserve and I’m happy to be able to update my review. It’s great to see businesses that appreciate their customers and want to make sure any wrong is addressed and quickly righted. BARE has amazing options for vegan and gluten free dietary restrictions which is difficult to find. I’m glad to be able to return.—Extremely disappointed with my order and the response when calling about the mistake. I placed an order for 3 açaí bowls, only 1 of them was made correctly.I called to let them know of the mistake, and the response was they’d write my name down and next time I come in they’ll give me 20% off my order. I will not be back.“

“Love this place. Lots of options to drink and eat including bagels, sandwiches, paninis, and salads. Their drinks are great they have a ton of coffees and teas. The chai latte was delicious. Plenty of seating and they have comfy chairs to read a book or do work all day without feeling guilty for staying. Definitely recommend. They also have a small room I think you can book for small get togethers.“

I'm not big on trying to order my coffee there .I never know how to get it, 2 sugars and a cream three creams and sweet I don't know it's too confusing I can never get a good cup of coffee on that place so I don't get it there. “Great local place with a true local feel smack in the middle of overpriced food & spirit that has become out of reach for many. In addition to the food being made to order is the excellent value in pricing. Spacious dining tables where on a Friday night you can grab a meal from a wide variety of plates found on the menu and sit and enjoy some local music. And finally it's all done with the biggest of smiles from those working the counter & grill. Go & enjoy!!“
