“One of my favorite steakhouses on Long Island. The meat is seasoned and smoked to perfection. A little hard to make a reservation, it's only online (resy) unless you have a big party. Very big space but still beautiful. Sushi is always fresh, drinks are great, and don't pass on dessert!“

“I took my wife there for our anniversary and it was great. We wanted someplace different and charming. They greeted us by name and wished us a happy anniversary. When the waitress came to the table she brought us two small glasses of champagne and again wished us well. The food was excellent and the waitress was the best. We totally recomend the place.“

“This place has great food. The service was awesome, too. Parking can be difficult to find, however. What makes this place stand out is the waterfront views you get. The food items we ordered to try here were the spinach and artichoke dip, fried chicken sandwich, and a grilled chicken wrap. Everything was excellent. The dip had great flavor. My favorite of these 3 items was the fried chicken sandwich. Loved how it was prepared. But everything we tasted we would recommend. We had a fun time hanging out here.“

All dishes are as is, and you CANNOT substitute anything according to the server. The salmon was cooked and seasoned well. “My absolute favorite Greek restaurant! They have several locations, but I like the one in Bayside the best because I find it's not as crowded as the other ones. The parking here can be a little tough but there is a municipal parking lot about 3 short blocks away and you can also take public transportation there, it is about a block away from the Bayside Long Island Railroad station. Try their steak its my favorite, but I also recommend the octopus, and their fish is always fresh and delicious, but you really can't go wrong with anything you get here. This place is always super clean, the service is always great and they pour a great drink. Now, this is an edited review from my original because i just had to mention Arif, who is the general manager. When you meet Arif you will understand why this place is so great. The guy makes you feel like family and makes sure you have a top-notch experience. Well done, Arif. What else can you ask for! “My first impression of this Hot Space restaurant is their staff is very friendly and willing to answer your questions. For a first time visitor, that's definitely helpful.When we ordered the food, the waitress patiently explained what are the menu and what are the dishes they are known for. She even suggested the spiciness, and warned us the extra ingredients might ruined the perfect flavor.The restaurant prepared the food in the kitchen to maybe 95% done, and then sent the grilled fish in a tray on a stove to our table. The server told us to wait a few minutes for the flavor to fully sink in.We got the strip bass with the golden combination. The fish was grilled just right. The skin was crispy and easily separated from the meat. The meat was at an excellent tenderness. Under the fish were the golden combination ingredients we ordered. They added ample spices to create the flavor and sauce to dip the fish into.After the meal, we overheard that the restaurant doesn't do takeout. I think they want their diners to enjoy their dishes at the best quality. Takeout orders simply can't do justice.“

“Love going to Bigelows i’m sitting at the bar the experience is great watching the staff freshly batter seafood and putting it right in the fryer right in front of you. The New England clam chowder is like no other. It is very delicious and creamy the perfect consistency for clam chowder. Definitely the best around the Ipswich fried clams are my go to favorite. They are fried to perfection and very clean oil which makes the food very good because the oil is always clean that they cook in. The people that work at Bigelow’s are great. Always welcoming and fun to hang out with by the bar while you eat your delicious seafood, no matter what you get I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area and you love seafood, you will not get any fresher!! “Had the bacalao fritters as an appetizer. They had small shards of bone in them. We each pulled bones out of our mouths. My friend ordered the cod named after restaurant. Had bones. No where in menu does it tell you that their plate is BONE IN. Made meal unpleasant.I had lamb chops. I must say they were thinnest lamb chops ever anywhere. Usually they’re 3 double chops in every place I’ve had them. Here they’re 4 single chops so thin you can’t get them medium rare as I ordered. I’d say go but ask lots of questions.“
