“Every time I'm in the area, I stop for a slice or 2, and the pizza and friendly service are always great. Yesterday, I stopped, and I have to say, I think the slice i had was the best slice I've ever had anywhere! That deserves a review. I rarely give reviews.“

“Last night we brought 10 friends in for HH. This was our 4th time there. Matt our server was excellent as usual. At 5:45 a waitress told us she needed the table for a reservation. She was very rude very. My husband and his friend had tokens for their free beers . We had just finished eating and we're chatting.We said we were not ready to leave, all of a sudden all of our checks came. No one asked for them. My husband and friend got their free beers. She came over and slammed them on the table walked away. We have never ever been treated so rudely. Forcing us to leave We will never go back. not only did we have hh but all six couples ate too. The restaurant is absolutely to small for reservations. We didn't even know they took them. When we were leaving my friend spoke to the owner and voiced our complaints. So everyone if you plan on a relaxing evening out I suggest you don't go there. Guess they don't need MONEY from 5 couples“

“Flew out to visit RPI when I was in high school over a decade ago. This place had the best pizza I'd ever had. Ended up going to a different college but always remembered the pizza here. Visited again recently. In a decade, tastes can change. Quality can change. I actually debated whether to go back, because I didn't want to ruin the good memory. Well I went back, and I'm glad I did. “This place is so nice and the guy they had out front was awesome. Very friendly and good at making conversation that was appropriate for the situation. As soon as we walked in I could smell how good this place was going to be. The overall atmosphere was a really nice mix of casual and more upscale. Very nice seating arrangements and I loved the nice blue fake fire place. I would definitely recommend them. We also went during a time when it was not very busy about 4pm yet there were still a handful of tables full despite the unpopular time.“

“Andriano’s pizza was always decent. Since the new owner took over a year or two ago it has been great. Good crust, sauce is not too sweet not too tart with a good ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings. We order at least 2-3 times a month and our order is always correct. The antipasto is a deal. A small salad easily serves 2-3 people as a side. A generous amount of quality cold cuts, olives and hot peppers. They also offer delivery.“

“Despite it being a Friday night and crowded, the service was fast. Especially Maher, who served, was attentive and friendly. “I heard amazing things about Marisa’s so we finally tried it for the first time. We were originally going to get slices, but when we first walked in, there was no place to sit and have a slice. We would’ve had to sit in our car. The kitchen staff were not friendly, looked pretty miserable and had an attitude when we asked questions. Maybe it was the heat. It was a pretty hot day, but we decided to go into the dining room and sat at a high top by the bar because the dining room was rather small and they had reservations. Not a problem. The food was excellent. The bartender who was the waitress was so nice and personable. She provided a great service. She was attentive and very timely. My husband and I both ordered our own personal pizza which was a good size, we ordered the homemade mozzarella sticks and I had a house salad. Love the food! It was great. Our bill came to $60. We did not have alcohol. I don’t mind spending money on good food. We will definitely return.“

“The sauce on the pizza is excellent. I probably should've gotten extra sauce. The crust on the edge is a bit larger than I'm used to but it was still very good. If I had any complaint, it would be that there wasn't enough cheese and sauce... but next time I'll know to put in for extra sauce and cheese. Still, great sauce regardless. Not the very sweet marinara or runny sauce I've had elsewhere... just a nice thick dark sauce... just the way I like.“

The environment was pleasant and easy with a touch of class. The half-chicken "Picata" ordered was "mm-hmm good" served with an exquisitely savory sauce, prepared by Chef Jake, who is a rising star and a compliment to Troy's fine dining experience. My wife and I also appreciated and thought it "cool" that the owner "Vic" took the time to talk with us. Enjoyable evening and location!!!“

This has just become one of my TOP 5 Pizzerias in the Capital Region. Was looking for a real Italian NY slice. My job sometimes brings me up to the Wolf Rd area and this place is just a short hop from there (and the pizza around Wolf Rd, for the most part, is mediocre at best).

Had three slices, bottom crust was crisp & they get the dough right, was about perfectly crispy & chewy, and NOT like the "spongey upstate pizza" (my term!) that I see too much of in our region. One of my slices was their specialty Meatball Parm pizza - this was remarkable, the meatballs were fabulous, the pie was cooked perfectly, nicely topped. I'll plan to bring a pie home in the near future.

*Change* - edited comment: I originally noted & thought their special pizza slices were perhaps underpriced a bit. After another visit, I realized that all of their counter slices are on a 16" pie, not an 18", so the prices are probably just about right. Tried a white veggie slice this time and the taste was exquisite, nice garlic flavor and roasted veggie pop. Again, outstanding quality of the slices.*

The pizza is solid, ask for little crispy if you want bigger crunch but to be honest you don't need it.
