“Amazing sandwich, that's it! Got the buffalo Caesar wrap and everything about it was perfect. Buffalo had perfect slice, nothing sweet mixed in, romaine was crispy and the Caesar dressing was the perfect Amount without making the wrap soggy. Cinnamon and sugar tater tots were hot, crispy, and well coated almost tastes like dessert when you are done with the wrap, for $11 you can't go wrong.“

Three days later and I'm still getting texts complimenting the food. “Outstanding Service and Fresh, Tasty Subs!
I stopped by Blimpie at Hauppauge recently and had a fantastic experience — not just because of the delicious sub, but because of the amazing service!
From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. They greeted me with a smile, were incredibly patient while I looked over the menu, and answered all my questions without rushing me. You could tell they really cared about making sure I got exactly what I wanted. The sandwich artist took the time to carefully build my sub just the way I asked, and even offered suggestions to make it better — which it absolutely was! It’s rare to find fast food places where the employees seem genuinely happy to be there and go out of their way to provide great customer service, but that’s exactly what I experienced here. Friendly, efficient, and professional from start to finish. On top of that, the sub was fresh, packed with flavor, and made to perfection. I’ll definitely be returning — not just for the food, but because the great service made the visit that much better.“

“They make a really good sandwich here. Delicious traditional (and several imaginative) sandwiches round out a nice menu of choices that also includes salads. The Country Fried Chicken sandwich and the Cuban sandwich are excellent and portions seemed generous. My other half and I split a Country Fried Chicken sandwich on one visit and it was the perfect lunch.

Though there is limited seating, this is a take-out place, albeit mid- to high-end take-out (think Diner Boys). It is not inexpensive, but then you're not eating Jersey Mike's or Subway sandwiches here; while the dining area here is similar to those type of places, the quality, taste and style of these sandwiches are well above them. We felt the pricing was a bit high for what is a primarily take-out place, but we plan to go back to see about the raves on the Philly Cheese Steak and the Crispy Chicken alla Vodka, which we didn't try on our initial visit.

One thing to note if you don't order ahead: you'll wait longer than you might expect, especially for sandwiches like the fried chicken, which is obviously prepared fresh when ordered. We came at a completely quiet time (7:20p), and were just about to the point of asking when we'd get our order when it came out.

While the service was fine for counter service, we didn't experience the same level of service some reviews here have mentioned; it was simply a counter transaction.

Parking is street parking only, and is limited; we got there just in time to get one last available space on Merrick Rd directly in front of the business (there is a fire hydrant there, which limits the storefront to about 3 spaces). While there were a couple of spaces available on the side street, that was about all there was. I don't think I'd want to have to try parking there or crossing against traffic during rush hour, when this section of Merrick Road is jammed.“

“I went there April 27th with my BF. He ordered the sandwich and I wasn't paying attention, we left and in the car he said he had issue with how it was made and wanted to throw it away. I said no, that sandwich was expensive, just bring me back and I will explain the issue and hopefully they will remake it for free. I talked to the manager Tanya, and explained and she remade it and remembered my order. I think I came back 15 minutes later, the manager seemed tired but was nice, quick and efficient. She deserves a raise.“

“This was my first time to this Subway. I've been to bad ones before where I've gotten sick so I stopped eating it for awhile but I had a random craving for Subway today. I came in around 11:30 am. There was one man ahead of me. The clerk finished with him much faster than I expected. I noticed the store was very clean. The atmosphere was comfortable. I happened for some reason to look at their prepping boards and they were pure white which actually calmed my fear about getting sick. I ordered a philly cheesesteak with provolone cheese, lettuce, onions, sweet peppers, pickles, black olives and jalapeno (like I said random craving) He made a joke when he rung up my order and said $125.40 instead of $12.54 I laughed and asked him his name. He told me his name is Rocky. He printed my receipt and said if I do the survey on the receipt I could get a free cookie. I went on the website right then and there and answered the questions. Rocky even helped me and I got a free cookie. Rocky had great customer service. He made me feel welcomed. Oh and the sanidwich? was awesome! Perfect amount of toppings to complement the steak. I recommend it. Thanks Rocky! Would definitely come back.“

“I liked the crunch and flavor of the seasoned bread and that they gave a lot of turkey on the sandwich. This was my first time at a blimpie. When comparing it to subway and Jersey mikes I would rate subway better and Jersey mikes worse. I liked that they had more selection of toppings than Jersey mikes and that they weren’t cheap on the meats. 6 inch sandwich was $6.99. I paid $10.50 for the same size at Jersey mikes last week and it had less meat and the bread had no flavor. This place was decent for a fast food sandwich place. The guy at the counter said that they don’t make their own meats at blimpie but that they also aren’t boars head. I didn’t get listeria coming here so that’s also a good sign.“

He was so great, he remembered my call and explained everything so well and I realized it was my error and apologized. “This is my go to subway. There is no other I will go to. Not only is it close to my job but the 2 employees there are the best I've ever encountered. Nick and Valerie are by far the best sandwich artist I have ever seen at a subway. Their positive energy is toxic, Their knowledge is phenomenal, their customer service is unmatched and it's always a pleasure to walk in and walk out happy. I always get the same thing so I'm sure I'm a great and easy customer to serve but they always make me smile and leave happier then when I walked in. I will continue to come to this restaurant for aslong as they are there. After that is a different story. Best subway hands down on long island. Clean, and always stacked with fresh ingredients.
