He was multitasking taking care of customers when the customer ordering saw a fly on his sandwich and Matthew handled it gracefully with an upbeat attitude and disposed of the sandwich in front of a line of customers including myself. After washing his hands, he took orders of several customers rewashing after each person’s order was created. He truly cares and is a genuine soul. Please recognize him. And since he handled himself so well…4 stars is well deserved. Subway management should do something to prevent the presence of insects however.“

“We literally come from Queens to this Blimpie shop all the time because we crave the delicious sandwiches.

Cleanliness: Firstly, the hygiene. The restaurant is so clean. You can tell all the meats and the veggies, everything is so fresh.

Accuracy: All the sandwiches are always done right. It’s perfect because we often don’t even get to open our bag until we get to the house. They honestly don’t get anything wrong.

Three days later and I'm still getting texts complimenting the food. Gian Luca and his staff made everything so so easy, from the amount of food I would need to what to actually order to the sides and extra sauces; everything was perfect. With such a busy day, that was one thing I didn't have to worry and stress about. I highly recommend!“

“This was my first time to this Subway. I've been to bad ones before where I've gotten sick so I stopped eating it for awhile but I had a random craving for Subway today. I came in around 11:30 am. There was one man ahead of me. The clerk finished with him much faster than I expected. I noticed the store was very clean. The atmosphere was comfortable. I happened for some reason to look at their prepping boards and they were pure white which actually calmed my fear about getting sick. I ordered a philly cheesesteak with provolone cheese, lettuce, onions, sweet peppers, pickles, black olives and jalapeno (like I said random craving) He made a joke when he rung up my order and said $125.40 instead of $12.54 I laughed and asked him his name. He told me his name is Rocky. He printed my receipt and said if I do the survey on the receipt I could get a free cookie. I went on the website right then and there and answered the questions. Rocky even helped me and I got a free cookie. Rocky had great customer service. He made me feel welcomed. Oh and the sanidwich? was awesome! Perfect amount of toppings to complement the steak. “I was shocked to FINALLY see a Firehouse Subs here on Long Island. It's about time! This is a legendary Sub chain that started in Florida. What makes them different is that they steam their meats in a steamer machine, and it makes for such a good flavor profile. I'm happy to report that what I tasted at this location matches the quality of the original shops down in Florida. I really wish the shop were a standalone and not stuck inside a Bolla Market. They deserve better. Try their Hook & Ladder. It's the best.“

The man who greeted me was extremely warm, kind and knowledgeable and asked me if I needed help with the menu. He cleaned the surfaces, changed his gloves and used new utensils. I could tell he was educated on the proper procedure for gluten-free sandwiches and that made me so relieved! The restaurant itself was very clean as well. 10/10 experience I will come back.“
