“Just had food delivered from Popeyes from Uber eats one of the entrées were missing called Uber they helped us out wonderful call Popeyes and they did nothing after two phone calls their answer was the Uber driver must’ve took it very classy and hung up on us“

“Hands down this is the best spainish food on Long Island possibly even the entire state of New York!

I recently tried them for the first time thanks to the too good to go app and I am so grateful they did! The first time I had a beef dinner and a fried chicken dinner. The way they chop the beef and add different seasonings to it is what separates them from the rest.

I'm 49 and back in the day 5th Ave in Bayshore had all the good Spanish food but after 911 they all moved to Florida causing me to go to another place in Brentwood I don't wanna say their name cause it's all about Beuno Deli right now.

When I heard the name deli and was going there for dinner for the first time I was skeptical cause of the word deli, most people dont think about a deli when they want dinner I think you guys should change your name because the food you serve and the times you operate is definitely not like a deli. You guys downgrade your business by calling it that you are a restaurant and a very good one at that.

Whoever is in charge of making the recipes and cooking the food must have a culinary arts background cause those are chef dishes and not your typical generic plates you see in every other place. In other words you're not just getting rice and beans you are getting dishes that come with brilliant recipes not only that taste good but the way its preped and served makes it top notch!

There's a reason I drive all the way from Islip to Coram and I do it with excitement cause I know whatever I'm getting I know it's gonna be the best, other places don't even come close. To be honest I can never go to my local Spanish deli cause Beuno deli opened me up to a new world of taste that I didn't even knew existed.

The first time I went there I was blown away because when you pull up, the entire front of the store is covered with their different menu items you can get anything from a entire Lobster dinner down to your typical Arroz con Pollo and they close late like around 11pm what deli do you know that operates like this?

Keep up the great work hopefully you guys can open a Buenos Deli 3 here in the Islip area you'd guys would have people lined up all the way to 5th Ave in Bayshore lol“

“The red beans and rice are absolutely amazing. They need to label the drippings back over the meats though. Serving it a buffet style like that the meet loses its moisture content and salt so they need to
keep it basted like a turkey“

“I love Bliss on a Friday night! They have live music and a great ambiance. I enjoy soft amber lights and a quieter environment as the restaurant is not too big and is long vs wide, therefore not overly loud. The food is delicious! Steaks are never overcooked and the kitchen is flexible for substitutions of sides and holding ingredients. My husband says that pasta is amazing. Drinks are made correctly and the alcohol is true to brand (YKWIM?) The waitstaff is attentive, consistent and professional. The owner is always present and looking to make patrons happy. Everyone working there is kind and does their best to make people comfortable. I recommend a reservation as they are usually full, including the bar.“

“I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. We had the short rib special, the sea bass and the swordfish entrees and they were delicious! The mussels in white sauce to start and the (clearly) homemade peanut butter and chocolate & carrot cake desserts were phenomenal. “Had the pleasure of choosing Tara Inn for lunch today, every establishment can learn a lesson from the customer service that my friend and I experienced. Upon walking in we were greeted by Peter, Tara’s husband and son-in-law of the founder who named the bar for his daughter 47 years ago. We told him it was our first visit and he offered us seats and welcomed us. The regulars at the bar guided us through the menu and we each had a burger with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles for $1 per burger expecting very small burgers we were surprised to find them standard sized and deliciously prepared to medium. My friend had the fried shrimp and I had a $13 steamed lobster! Excellent! They offer daily specials and one of the gentleman at the bar told me their steaks are very good. Every staff person went out of their way to make us feel at home. A charismatic women came out from the back and introduced herself as Tara she thanked us for choosing to lunch there. Why can’t other places realize the importance of making a first time patron feel welcome. I
Had a great afternoon enjoying the excellent variety of beers that they provide on tap. The charming decor has probably changed little since the ‘70s and that adds to the vibe. If you want to go to the friendliest bar on Long Island, head over to Tara Inn.“

They keep the busy small eat in order area and kitchen clean. They have many choices, so our mixed diets of regular and vegan have delicious items to choose from their menu.

“My husband and I have been eating here pretty much once a week for almost 20 years. We usually get take out and create our own in home date night. By far the freshest and most delicious sushi we’ve ever had. Period. They keep the menu very clean, as opposed to other places we’ve tried where everything is caked in sauce and all just taste the same. You will not be disappointed.

“Got take out for lunch and it was delicious! The pork fried rice is exactly how fried rice should be! It’s not yellow rice. It’s actually real, authentic fried rice. We also had General Tso’s chicken and it was really tasty, white meat and a delicious sauce with a little kick. Will dine in next time!“

Trio deserves 10 ⭐'s for both.This restaurant handles two types of food service, restaurant seating and catering for small to large parties. I've now experienced both. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set. We had buffet style dining and the selection was outstanding, with something for everyone. From soup to nuts, everything was delicious. They had fish, beef, vegetarian selections and even offered coffee and dessert. (by the way, if I had known how good the desserts would've been, I might have eaten a little less dinner.)The service is impeccable, everything is clean and fresh, the linens and tablecloths were spotless.I'd like to add that Trio is on the grounds of the Holbrook Country Club. “My family and I went backcountry camping in the wilderness section of the campground. The beach was beautiful with lots of interesting finds from the ocean! It can get very cold and windy, so keep that in mind when planning your attire and camp set up.

We also stumbled across an interesting arrangement of props that could either be a ritualistic site of a religion I don't know about or an art exhibit. Still pretty cool though!“

“You can't find a single thing on the menu that isn't delicious. I've been here several times, and each time I try something different and am always happy with my choice. The portions are generous and the prices are in line with what you should pay for what you get. The servers are always pleasant, and the bussers are like ninjas in clearing used dinnerware. “Tiki Joe's is a nice little beach front kitchen and bar. The food is good. A little pricey though. The bar is nice. Beautiful view of the Long Island Sound on the North Shore. A lot of speciality drinks/cocktails. They have bands that usually play on the weekends but you have to get there early. They stop playing by 9p.m. Other than that, overall decent spot.
